2013-04-17ixgbe: Mask off check of frag_off as we only want fragment offsetAlexander Duyck
We were incorrectly checking the entire frag_off field when we only wanted the fragment offset. As a result we were not pulling in TCP headers when the DNF flag was set. To correct that we will now check for frag off using the IP_OFFSET mask. 2013-04-16mlx4_core: Implement SRQ object lookup from srqnShlomo Pongratz
Expose a new API mlx4_srq_lookup() to retrive a SRQ based on its number. This API is needed in the mlx4_ib driver CQ polling logic, when a work completion is associated with a XRC TGT QP. Since a target QP may redirect to more than one XRC SRQ, the srq field in the QP has no usage and the real XRC SRQ need to be retrived using the information from the XRCETH IB header which is placed in the HW CQE. 2013-04-16at86rf230: change irq handling to prevent lockups with edge type irqSascha Herrmann
Implemented separate irq handling for edge and level type interrupt configuration. For edge type interrupts calls to disable_irq_nosync() and enable_irq() are removed. The at86rf230 resets the irq line only after the irq status register is read. Disabling the irq can lock the driver in situations where a irq is set by the radio while the driver is still reading the frame buffer. With irq_type configuration set to 0 the original behavior is preserverd. Additional the irq filter register is set to filter out all unused interrupts and the irq status register is read in the probe function to clear the irq line. 2013-04-16iwlwifi: mvm: fix first_antennaEmmanuel Grumbach
first_antenna is supposed to return the first antenna as a 0-based bitmap: ANT_A is BIT(0), ANT_B is BIT(1), etc... Since ffs is 1 based (ffs(BIT(0)) = 1), then we had an off-by-one bug: BIT(ffs(ANT_A)) = BIT(ffs(BIT(0))) = BIT(1) = ANT_B. So what we really want is: BIT(ffs(ANT_A) - 1) = BIT(ffs(BIT(0)) - 1) = BIT(0) = ANT_A. 2013-04-16mac80211: support secondary channel offset in CSAJohannes Berg
Add support for the secondary channel offset IE in channel switch announcements. This is necessary for proper handling of CSA on HT access points. For this to work it is also necessary to convert everything here to use chandef structs instead of just channels. The driver updates aren't really correct though. 2013-04-15net: mvneta: fix improper tx queue usage in mvneta_tx()Willy Tarreau
mvneta_tx() was using a static tx queue number causing crashes as soon as a little bit of traffic was sent via the interface, because it is normally expected that the same queue should be used as in dev_queue_xmit(). As suggested by Ben Hutchings, let's use skb_get_queue_mapping() to get the proper Tx queue number, and use alloc_etherdev_mqs() instead of alloc_etherdev_mq() to create the queues. Both my Mirabox and my OpenBlocks AX3 used to crash without this patch and don't anymore with it. The issue appeared in 3.8 but became more visible after the fix allowing GSO to be enabled. 2013-04-13net: mvmdio: add select PHYLIBThomas Petazzoni
The mvmdio driver uses the phylib API, so it should select the PHYLIB symbol, otherwise, a build with mvmdio (but without mvneta) fails to build with undefined symbols such as mdiobus_unregister, mdiobus_free, etc. The mvneta driver does not use the phylib API directly, so it does not need to select PHYLIB. It already selects the mvmdio driver anyway. Historically, this problem is due to the fact that the PHY handling was originally part of mvneta, and was later moved to a separate driver, without updating the Kconfig select statements accordingly. And since there was no functional reason to use mvmdio without mvneta, this case was not tested. 2013-04-12ath5k: use more idiomatic tracing include styleJohannes Berg
Pretty much everywhere that uses a trace definition header that's not in include/trace/events/ uses the make system for the include path rather than putting it into the sources, so do that in ath5k as well. This came up during backporting work (where this is required), but since all other drivers do it this way upstream it seemed applicable.
