2023-08-22net/mlx5e: Support IPsec upper protocol selector field offload for RXEmeel Hakim
Support RX policy/state upper protocol selector field offload, to enable selecting RX traffic for IPsec operation based on l4 protocol UDP with specific source/destination port. 2023-08-22net/mlx5: Store vport in struct mlx5_devlink_port and use it in port opsJiri Pirko
Instead of using internal devlink_port->index to perform vport lookup in every devlink port op, store the vport pointer to the container struct mlx5_devlink_port and use it directly in port ops. 2023-08-22net/mlx5: Check vhca_resource_manager capability in each op and add extack msgJiri Pirko
Since the follow-up patch is going to remove mlx5_devlink_port_fn_get_vport() entirely, move the vhca_resource_manager capability checking to individual ops. Add proper extack message on the way. 2023-08-22net/mlx5: Relax mlx5_devlink_eswitch_get() return value checkingJiri Pirko
If called from port ops, it is not needed to perform the checks in mlx5_devlink_eswitch_get(). The reason is devlink port would not be registered if the checks are not true. Introduce relaxed version mlx5_devlink_eswitch_nocheck_get() and use it in port ops. 2023-08-22net/mlx5: Reduce number of vport lookups passing vport pointer instead of indexJiri Pirko
During devlink port init/cleanup and register/unregister calls, there are many lookups of vport. Instead of passing vport_num as argument to functions, pass the vport struct pointer directly and avoid repeated lookups. 2023-08-22net/mlx5: Embed struct devlink_port into driver structureJiri Pirko
Struct devlink_port is usually embedded in a driver-specific struct which allows to carry driver context to devlink port ops. Introduce a container struct to include devlink_port struct in preparation to also include driver context for devlink port ops. 2023-08-22net/mlx5: Don't register ops for non-PF/VF/SF port and avoid checks in opsJiri Pirko
Currently each PF/VF/SF devlink port op called into mlx5 code calls is_port_function_supported() to check if the port is either PF, VF or SF. So make sure that the ops are registered with devlink port only for those and avoid the is_port_function_supported() checks in ops. 2023-08-23crypto: drivers - Explicitly include correct DT includesRob Herring
The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus. As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they "temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to explicitly include the correct includes. 2023-08-22bnx2x: new flag for track HW resource allocationThinh Tran
While injecting PCIe errors to the upstream PCIe switch of a BCM57810 NIC, system hangs/crashes were observed. After several calls to bnx2x_tx_timout() complete, bnx2x_nic_unload() is called to free up HW resources and bnx2x_napi_disable() is called to release NAPI objects. Later, when the EEH driver calls bnx2x_io_slot_reset() to complete the recovery process, bnx2x attempts to disable NAPI again by calling bnx2x_napi_disable() and freeing resources which have already been freed, resulting in a hang or crash. Introduce a new flag to track the HW resource and NAPI allocation state, refactor duplicated code into a single function, check page pool allocation status before freeing, and reduces debug output when a TX timeout event occurs. After loading the amd-pstate-ut driver, amd_pstate_ut_check_perf() and amd_pstate_ut_check_freq() use cpufreq_cpu_get() to get the policy of the CPU and mark it as busy. 2023-08-22cpufreq: amd-pstate-ut: Remove module parameter accessSwapnil Sapkal
In amd-pstate-ut, shared memory-based systems call get_shared_mem() as part of amd_pstate_ut_check_enabled() function. This function was written when CONFIG_X86_AMD_PSTATE was tristate config and amd_pstate can be built as a module. Currently CONFIG_X86_AMD_PSTATE is a boolean config and module parameter shared_mem is removed. But amd-pstate-ut code still accesses this module parameter. Remove those accesses. 2023-08-22of: overlay: Extend of_overlay_fdt_apply() to specify the target nodeLizhi Hou
Currently, in an overlay fdt fragment, it needs to specify the exact location in base DT. In another word, when the fdt fragment is generated, the base DT location for the fragment is already known. There is new use case that the base DT location is unknown when fdt fragment is generated. For example, the add-on device provide a fdt overlay with its firmware to describe its downstream devices. Because it is add-on device which can be plugged to different systems, its firmware will not be able to know the overlay location in base DT. Instead, the device driver will load the overlay fdt and apply it to base DT at runtime. In this case, of_overlay_fdt_apply() needs to be extended to specify the target node for device driver to apply overlay fdt. int overlay_fdt_apply(..., struct device_node *base); Signed-off-by: Lizhi Hou <lizhi.hou@amd.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/1692120000-46900-5-git-send-email-lizhi.hou@amd.com Signed-off-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org>
2023-08-22PCI: Add quirks to generate device tree node for Xilinx Alveo U50Lizhi Hou
The Xilinx Alveo U50 PCI card exposes multiple hardware peripherals on its PCI BAR. The card firmware provides a flattened device tree to describe the hardware peripherals on its BARs. This allows U50 driver to load the flattened device tree and generate the device tree node for hardware peripherals underneath. To generate device tree node for U50 card, add PCI quirks to call of_pci_make_dev_node() for U50. 2023-08-22PCI: Create device tree node for bridgeLizhi Hou
The PCI endpoint device such as Xilinx Alveo PCI card maps the register spaces from multiple hardware peripherals to its PCI BAR. Normally, the PCI core discovers devices and BARs using the PCI enumeration process. There is no infrastructure to discover the hardware peripherals that are present in a PCI device, and which can be accessed through the PCI BARs. Apparently, the device tree framework requires a device tree node for the PCI device. Thus, it can generate the device tree nodes for hardware peripherals underneath. Because PCI is self discoverable bus, there might not be a device tree node created for PCI devices. Furthermore, if the PCI device is hot pluggable, when it is plugged in, the device tree nodes for its parent bridges are required. Add support to generate device tree node for PCI bridges. Add an of_pci_make_dev_node() interface that can be used to create device tree node for PCI devices. Add a PCI_DYNAMIC_OF_NODES config option. When the option is turned on, the kernel will generate device tree nodes for PCI bridges unconditionally. Initially, add the basic properties for the dynamically generated device tree nodes which include #address-cells, #size-cells, device_type, compatible, ranges, reg.
