2012-10-16drm/nouveau/pm: do not stop reclocking if failing to set the fan speedMartin Peres
With the introduction of fan management modes, fan may not be drivable. We should allow reclocking nonetheless. This return was stupid to begin with since it may have left the card in an intermediate state (clocks corresponding to a perflvl and voltage corresponding to another one). The reclocking code will need to be rewritten in a near-future in order to provide a better error handling. Commit 023614183768 ("thermal: add generic cpufreq cooling implementation") requires cpufreq_frequency_get_table(), but that function is only defined for CONFIG_CPU_FREQ_TABLE resulting in the following build error: drivers/built-in.o: In function `cpufreq_get_max_state': drivers/thermal/cpu_cooling.c:259: undefined reference to `cpufreq_frequency_get_table' drivers/built-in.o: In function `get_cpu_frequency': drivers/thermal/cpu_cooling.c:129: undefined reference to `cpufreq_frequency_get_table' Fix it by selecting CONFIG_CPU_FREQ_TABLE for such a configuration. It turns out CONFIG_EXYNOS_THERMAL also needs CONFIG_CPU_FREQ_TABLE, so select it there as well. 2012-10-15brcmfmac: fix end of loop check (signedness bug)Dan Carpenter
The problem here is that we loop until "remained_buf_len" is less than zero, but since it is unsigned, it never is. "remained_buf_len" has to be large enough to hold the value from "mgmt_ie_buf_len". That variable is type u32, but it only holds small values so I have changed to both variables to int. Also I removed the bogus initialization from "mgmt_ie_buf_len" so that GCC can detect if it is used unitialized. I moved the declaration of "remained_buf_len" closer to where it is used so it's easier to read. radeon_i2c_fini() walks thru the list of I2C bus recs rdev->i2c_bus[] to destroy each of them. radeon_ext_tmds_enc_destroy() however also has code to destroy it's associated I2C bus rec which has been obtained by radeon_i2c_lookup() and is therefore also in the i2c_bus[] list. This causes a double free resulting in a kernel panic when unloading the radeon driver. Based on Dmitries work, but splitting the code into page directory and page table handling makes it far more readable and (hopefully) more reliable. Allocations of page tables are made from the SA on demand, that should still work fine since all page tables are of the same size. 2012-10-15usb: dwc3: gadget: fix 'endpoint always busy' bugFelipe Balbi
If a USB transfer has already been started, meaning we have already issued StartTransfer command to that particular endpoint, DWC3_EP_BUSY flag has also already been set. When we try to cancel this transfer which is already in controller's cache, we will not receive XferComplete event and we must clear DWC3_EP_BUSY in order to allow subsequent requests to be properly started. The best place to clear that flag is right after issuing DWC3_DEPCMD_ENDTRANSFER. 2012-10-15pinctrl/nomadik: provide stubs for legacy NomadikLinus Walleij
The compilation of the pinctrl driver failed on the legacy Nomadik NHK8815 platform because it was not providing the PRCMU interfaces needed to support the extended alternate functions used by the ux500 series. Solve this by providing some stubs for the legacy platform, to avoid too much #ifdefs in the code per se. Theoretically this actually allows the Nomadik and Ux500 to have a single kernel image with support for the PRCM registers on the Ux500 (though they have incompatible archs, but the spirit is there). 2012-10-15pinctrl: sirf: remove sirfsoc_gpio_set_pull functionArnd Bergmann
The prima2 platform advertises needing no mach/gpio.h header file, but its pinctrl driver now has a sirfsoc_gpio_set_pull function that uses constants defined in arch/arm/mach-prima2/include/mach/gpio.h, which fails to build. Fortunately, the sirfsoc_gpio_set_pull is not used anywhere in the kernel, so we can safely remove it. Any out of tree drivers using it will have to be converted to use proper pinctrl functions to do the same. TjMax for the CE4100 series of Atom CPUs was previously reported to be 110 degrees C. cpuinfo logs on the web show existing CPU types CE4110, CE4150, and CE4170, reported as "model name : Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU CE41{1|5|7}0 @ 1.{2|6}0GHz" with model 28 (0x1c) and stepping 10 (0x0a).
