Currently irdma allows zero-length STAGs to be programmed in HW during
the kernel mode fast register flow. Zero-length MR or STAG registration
disable HW memory length checks.
Improve gaps in bounds checking in irdma by preventing zero-length STAG or
MR registrations except if the IB_PD_UNSAFE_GLOBAL_RKEY is set.
This addresses the disclosure CVE-2023-25775.

When built with CONFIG_INTEL_MID_WATCHDOG=m, currently the driver
needs to be loaded manually, for the lack of module alias.
This causes unintended resets in cases where watchdog timer is
set-up by bootloader and the driver is not explicitly loaded.
Add MODULE_ALIAS() to load the driver automatically at boot and
avoid this issue.

On some platforms, for example, Intel SoC FPGA platform, the watchdog
is started in u-boot, and so kernel will create a timer and work to
keep watchdog alive. But when user executes commands "poweroff" or
"shutdown -h", the system is reset when watchdog triggers timeout even
if WDOG_STOP_ON_REBOOT is set in watchdog driver. The root cause is
that the watchdog is not stopped properly because the SYS_POWER_OFF case
is not supported in notify callback function. So, add this case to stop
watchdog when executing poweroff command.

After commit f1a43aadb5a6 ("watchdog: Enable COMPILE_TEST for more
drivers"), it is possible to enable this driver on 32-bit architectures.
When building for those architectures with clang, there is an error due
to a 64-bit division in xilinx_wwdt_start():
ERROR: modpost: "__aeabi_uldivmod" [drivers/watchdog/xilinx_wwdt.ko] undefined!
Use div_u64() to fix this, which takes a 64-bit dividend and 32-bit
divisor. GCC likely avoids the same error due to optimizations it
employs to transform division by a constant into other equivalent
operations, which may be different than what is implemented in clang.

Use the new PM macros for the suspend and resume functions to be
automatically dropped by the compiler when CONFIG_PM or
CONFIG_PM_SLEEP are disabled, without having to use #ifdef guards.
This has the advantage of always compiling these functions in,
independently of any Kconfig option. Thanks to that, bugs and other
regressions are subsequently easier to catch.

As &wdt->lock is acquired by hard irq s3c2410wdt_irq(),
other acquisition of the same lock under process context should
disable irq, otherwise deadlock could happen if the
irq preempt the execution while the lock is held in process context
on the same CPU.

This flaw was found by an experimental static analysis tool I am
developing for irq-related deadlock, which reported the above
warning when analyzing the linux kernel 6.4-rc7 release.
The tentative patch fix the potential deadlock by spin_lock_irqsave()
under process context.

This patch adds the WDIOF_CARDRESET support for the platform watchdog
whose hardware does not support this feature, to know if the board
reboot is due to a watchdog reset.
This is done via reserved memory(RAM), which indicates if specific
info saved, triggering the watchdog reset in last boot.

Based on the original code semantic in case of Clause 45 MDIO, the address
command is supposed to be followed by the command sending the MMD address,
not the CSR address. The commit 002dd3de097c ("net: mdio: mdio-bitbang:
Separate C22 and C45 transactions") has erroneously broken that. So most
likely due to an unfortunate variable name it switched the code to sending
the CSR address. In our case it caused the protocol malfunction so the
read operation always failed with the turnaround bit always been driven to
one by PHY instead of zero. Fix that by getting back the correct
behaviour: sending MMD address command right after the regular address
command.

Currently our MTT only support inline mtt entries (0 level MTT) and
indirect MTT entries (1 level mtt), which will limit the maximum length
of MRs. In order to implement a multi-level MTT, we refactor the
structure of MTT first.

802.1X PAE frames are link-local frames, therefore they must be trapped to
the CPU port. Currently, the MT753X switches treat 802.1X PAE frames as
regular multicast frames, therefore flooding them to user ports. To fix
this, set 802.1X PAE frames to be trapped to the CPU port(s).

Currently, some fields in the QP/CQ/MR resource can be dumped by
rdma-tool, but this information is not enough. It is very
inconvenient to continue to expand on the current field, and it
will also introduce some trouble to parse these raw data.
This patch dump whole resource in raw to avoid the above problems.

The field 'virtual router' was extended to 12 bits in Spectrum-4.
Therefore, the element 'MLXSW_AFK_ELEMENT_VIRT_ROUTER_MSB' needs 3 bits for
Spectrum < 4 and 4 bits for Spectrum >= 4.
The elements are stored in an internal storage scratchpad. Currently, the
MSB is defined there as 3 bits. It means that for Spectrum-4, only 2K VRFs
can be used for multicast routing, as the highest bit is not really used by
the driver. Fix the definition of 'VIRT_ROUTER_MSB' to use 4 bits. Adjust
the definitions of 'virtual router' field in the blocks accordingly - use
'_avoid_size_check' for Spectrum-2 instead of for Spectrum-4. Fix the mask
in parse function to use 4 bits.

The two most significant bits of the "local_port" field in the SSPR
register are always cleared since they are overwritten by the deprecated
and overlapping "sub_port" field.
On systems with more than 255 local ports (e.g., Spectrum-4), this
results in the firmware maintaining invalid mappings between system port
and local port. Specifically, two different systems ports (0x1 and
0x101) point to the same local port (0x1), which eventually leads to
firmware errors.
Fix by removing the deprecated "sub_port" field.

Currently, in Spectrum-2 and above, time stamps are extracted from the CQE
into the time stamp fields in 'struct mlxsw_skb_cb', only when the CQE
time stamp type is UTC. The time stamps are read directly from the CQE and
software can get the time stamp in UTC format using CQEv2.
From Spectrum-4, the time stamps that are read from the CQE are allowed
to be also from MIRROR_UTC type.
Therefore, we get a warning [1] from the driver that the time stamp fields
were not set, when LLDP control packet is sent.
Allow the time stamp type to be MIRROR_UTC and set the time stamp in this
case as well.

There are two network devices(veth1 and veth3) in ns1, and ipvlan1 with
L3S mode and ipvlan2 with L2 mode are created based on them as
figure (1). In this case, ipvlan_register_nf_hook() will be called to
register nf hook which is needed by ipvlans in L3S mode in ns1 and value
of ipvl_nf_hook_refcnt is set to 1.

In function ipvlan_migrate_l3s_hook(), ipvl_nf_hook_refcnt in ns1 is not 0
since veth1 with ipvlan1 still in ns1, (I) and (II) will be called to
register nf_hook in ns2 and unregister nf_hook in ns1. As a result,
ipvl_nf_hook_refcnt in ns1 is decreased incorrectly and this in ns2
is increased incorrectly. When the second net namespace is removed, a
reference count leak warning in ipvlan_ns_exit() will be triggered.
This patch add a check before ipvlan_migrate_l3s_hook() is called. The
warning can be triggered as follows:

Add a new tx_resets ring counter. This counter will be saved as
tx_total_resets across any reset. Since we currently do a full reset
in bnxt_sched_reset_txr(), the per ring counter will always be cleared
during reset. Only the tx_total_resets count will be meaningful and we
only display this under ethtool -S.

The existing driver displays the sum of 4 ring counters under ethtool -S.
These counters are in the array bnxt_sw_func_stats. These counters are
summed at the time of ethtool -S and will be lost when the device is reset.
Replace these counters with the new total ring error counters added in the
last patch. These new counters are saved before reset. ethtool -S will
now display the sum of the saved counters plus the current counters.

Currently, the ring counters are stored in the per ring datastructure.
During reset, all the rings are freed together with the associated
datastructures. As a result, all the ring error counters will be reset
to zero.
Add logic to keep track of the total error counts of all the rings
and save them before reset (including ifdown). The next patch will
display these total ring error counters under ethtool -S.

If we are doing a complete reset with irq_re_init set to true in
bnxt_close_nic(), all the ring structures will be freed. New
structures will be allocated in bnxt_open_nic(). The current code
increments rx_resets counter in bnxt_enable_napi() if bnapi->in_reset
is true. In a complete reset, bnapi->in_reset will never be true
since the structure is just allocated.
Increment the rx_resets counter in bnxt_disable_napi() instead. This
will allow us to save all the ring error counters including the
rx_resets counters in the next patch.

Convert to use the page pool buffers for the aggregation ring when
running in non-XDP mode. This simplifies the driver and we benefit
from the recycling of pages. Adjust the page pool size to account
for the aggregation ring size.

The blamed commit resolved a bug where frames would still get stuck at
egress, even though they're smaller than the maxSDU[tc], because the
driver did not take into account the extra 33 ns that the queue system
needs for scheduling the frame.
It now takes that into account, but the arithmetic that we perform in
vsc9959_tas_remaining_gate_len_ps() is buggy, because we operate on
64-bit unsigned integers, so gate_len_ns - VSC9959_TAS_MIN_GATE_LEN_NS
may become a very large integer if gate_len_ns < 33 ns.
In practice, this means that we've introduced a regression where all
traffic class gates which are permanently closed will not get detected
by the driver, and we won't enable oversize frame dropping for them.

On SDP interfaces, frame oversize and undersize errors are
observed as driver is not considering packet sizes of all
subscribers of the link before updating the link config.
This patch fixes the same.

Gustavo already tried to fix those back in 2021[0][1]. Unfortunately,
a VM can run a different kernel than the host, meaning that those
structures are sorta ABI.
However, it is possible to have proper flex arrays + struct_size()
calculations and still send the very same messages with the same sizes.
The common rule is:
elem[1] -> elem[]
size = struct_size() + <difference between the old and the new msg size>
The "old" size in the current code is calculated 3 different ways for
10 virtchnl structures total. Each commit addresses one of the ways
cumulatively instead of per-structure.
I was planning to send it to -net initially, but given that virtchnl was
renamed from i40evf and got some fat style cleanup commits in the past,
it's not very straightforward to even pick appropriate SHAs, not
speaking of automatic portability. I may send manual backports for
a couple of the latest supported kernels later on if anyone needs it
at all.

Some configurations differ between chip variants, e,g. the register
to control the on of state of LDOA1 and SWB2. Thus, it is necessary
to choose the correct configuration for a dedicated device.
If the wrong configuration was used, the LDOA1 output that was
disabled by the bootloader was enabled in Kernel again.
Each chip variant gets its dedicated configuration selected by
the chip ID previously collected from MFD probe function.
The VTT enum value (tps65086_regulators) is shifted because not all
chip variants have a separate SWB2 switch. Sometimes they are merged.
So the configuration possibilities differ, thus the regulator
configuration arrays have a different length.

The new set of drivers for RZ/G2L MTU3a tries to enable compile-testing the
individual client drivers even when the MFD portion is disabled but gets it
wrong, causing a link failure when the core is in a loadable module but the
other drivers are built-in:

It seems better not to add the extra complexity here but instead just use
a normal hard dependency, so remove the #else portion in the header along

elaborate Kconfig dependencies or using the cursed 'IS_REACHABLE()' helper,
but in practice it's already possible to compile-test all these drivers
by enabling the mtd portion.

As &chip->pm_irq_lock is acquired by pm8xxx_irq_handler() under irq
context, other process context code should disable irq before acquiring
the lock.
Since .irq_set_type and .irq_get_irqchip_state callbacks are generally
executed from process context without irq disabled by default, the same
lock acquision should disable irq.

The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate
of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus.
As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they
"temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h
and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include
files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and
replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to
explicitly include the correct includes.

The maple tree register cache is based on a much more modern data structure
than the rbtree cache and makes optimisation choices which are probably
more appropriate for modern systems than those made by the rbtree cache. In
v6.5 it has also acquired the ability to generate multi-register writes in
sync operations, bringing performance up to parity with the rbtree cache
there.
Update the wm8998 driver to use the more modern data structure.
