2016-11-29usb: return correct errno code when krealloc failsPan Bian
In function wusb_dev_sec_add(), variable result takes the return value. Its value should be negative on failures. When function krealloc() is called, an earlier check of variable result guarantees that the value of result must not be less than "sizeof(*secd)", and result is not reassigned when krealloc() returns a NULL pointer. As a result, a positive value may be returned, which makes it impossible for the caller of wusb_dev_sec_add() to detect the error. This patch fixes the bug by assigning -ENOMEM to result when krealloc() returns NULL. Signed-off-by: Pan Bian <bianpan2016@163.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2016-11-29USB: EHCI: ehci-w90x900: remove unuseful functionsManjunath Goudar
The ehci_w90x900_probe function is not doing anything other than calling usb_w90x900_probe function so ehci_w90x900_probe function is unuseful that is why removed ehci_w90x900_probe functions and renamed usb_w90x900_probe function to ehci_w90x900_probe for proper naming. The ehci_w90x900_remove function is also not doing anything other than calling usb_w90x900_remove that is why removed ehci_w90x900_remove function and renamed usb_w90x900_remove to ehci_w90x900_remove for proper naming. If the nr-ports property is missing ata_host_alloc_pinfo is called with n_ports = 0. This results in host->ports[0] = NULL which later makes mv_init_host() oops when dereferencing this pointer. The da8xx ohci controller is not working after suspend and resume. This is because only the root hub is being resumed. 2016-11-29USB: ohci: da8xx: Allow a regulator to handle VBUSAxel Haslam
Using a regulator to handle VBUS will eliminate the need for platform data and callbacks, and make the driver more generic allowing different types of regulators to handle VBUS. The regulator equivalents to the platform callbacks are: set_power -> regulator_enable/regulator_disable get_power -> regulator_is_enabled get_oci -> regulator_get_error_flags ocic_notify -> regulator event notification Signed-off-by: Axel Haslam <ahaslam@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2016-11-29USB: ohci: da8xx: Add wrappers for platform callbacksAxel Haslam
To migrate to a DT based boot, we will remove the use of platform callbacks, in favor of using the regulator framework to handle vbus and over current. In preparation to use a regulator instead of callbacks, move the platform data callbacks into separate functions. This provides well defined place to for the regulator API to coexist with the platform callbacks before all users are converted. 2016-11-29USB: ohci: da8xx: use ohci priv data instead of globalsAxel Haslam
Instead of global variables, use the extra_priv_size of the ohci driver. We cannot yet move the ocic mask because this is used on the interrupt handler which is registered through platform data and does not have an hcd pointer. This will be moved on a later patch. 2016-11-29rtlwifi: Fix enter/exit power_saveLarry Finger
In commit a5ffbe0a1993 ("rtlwifi: Fix scheduling while atomic bug") and commit a269913c52ad ("rtlwifi: Rework rtl_lps_leave() and rtl_lps_enter() to use work queue"), an error was introduced in the power-save routines due to the fact that leaving PS was delayed by the use of a work queue. This problem is fixed by detecting if the enter or leave routines are in interrupt mode. If so, the workqueue is used to place the request. If in normal mode, the enter or leave routines are called directly. 2016-11-29mwifiex: pcie: implement timeout loop for FW programming doorbellBrian Norris
Marvell Wifi PCIe modules don't always behave nicely for PCIe power management when their firmware hasn't been loaded, particularly after suspending the PCIe link one or more times. When this happens, we might end up spinning forever in this status-polling tight loop. Let's make this less tight by adding a timeout and by sleeping a bit in between reads, as we do with the other similar loops. This prevents us from hogging a CPU even in such pathological cases, and allows the FW initialization to just fail gracefully instead. I chose the same polling parameters as the earlier loop in this function, and empirically, I found that this loop never makes it more than about 12 cycles in a sane FW init sequence. I had no official information on the actual intended latency for this portion of the download. Acked-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au> Acked-by: Michal Simek <michal.simek@xilinx.com> Signed-off-by: Zubair Lutfullah Kakakhel <Zubair.Kakakhel@imgtec.com> Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@arm.com>
2016-11-29irqchip/xilinx: Try to fall back if xlnx,kind-of-intr not providedZubair Lutfullah Kakakhel
The powerpc dts file does not have the xlnx,kind-of-intr property. Instead of erroring out, give a warning instead. And attempt to continue to probe the interrupt controller while assuming kind-of-intr is 0x0 as a fall back. 2016-11-29irqchip/xilinx: Add support for parent intcZubair Lutfullah Kakakhel
The MIPS based xilfpga platform has the following IRQ structure Peripherals --> xilinx_intcontroller -> mips_cpu_int controller Add support for the driver to chain the irq handler Signed-off-by: Zubair Lutfullah Kakakhel <Zubair.Kakakhel@imgtec.com> Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@arm.com>
2016-11-29irqchip/xilinx: Rename get_irq to xintc_get_irqZubair Lutfullah Kakakhel
Now that the driver is generic and used by multiple archs, get_irq is too generic. Rename get_irq to xintc_get_irq to avoid any conflicts Acked-by: Michal Simek <michal.simek@xilinx.com> Signed-off-by: Zubair Lutfullah Kakakhel <Zubair.Kakakhel@imgtec.com> Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@arm.com>
2016-11-29irqchip/xilinx: Restructure and use jump label apiZubair Lutfullah Kakakhel
Add a global structure to house various variables. And cleanup read/write handling by using jump label api. Tested-by; Michal Simek <michal.simek@xilinx.com> Signed-off-by: Zubair Lutfullah Kakakhel <Zubair.Kakakhel@imgtec.com> Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@arm.com>
2016-11-29irqchip/xilinx: Clean up print messagesZubair Lutfullah Kakakhel
Remove __func__ and prefix irq-xilinx in various debug prints Acked-by: Michal Simek <michal.simek@xilinx.com> Signed-off-by: Zubair Lutfullah Kakakhel <Zubair.Kakakhel@imgtec.com> Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@arm.com>
2016-11-29microblaze/irqchip: Move intc driver to irqchipZubair Lutfullah Kakakhel
The Xilinx AXI Interrupt Controller IP block is used by the MIPS based xilfpga platform and a few PowerPC based platforms. Move the interrupt controller code out of arch/microblaze so that it can be used by everyone Tested-by: Michal Simek <michal.simek@xilinx.com> Signed-off-by: Zubair Lutfullah Kakakhel <Zubair.Kakakhel@imgtec.com> Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@arm.com>
2016-11-29irqchip/gic-v3-its: Specialise readq and writeq accessesVladimir Murzin
readq and writeq type of assessors are not supported in AArch32, so we need to specialise them and glue later with series of 32-bit accesses on AArch32 side. Signed-off-by: Vladimir Murzin <vladimir.murzin@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@arm.com>
2016-11-29irqchip/gic-v3-its: Specialise flush_dcache operationVladimir Murzin
It'd be better to switch to CMA... but before that done redirect flush_dcache operation, so 32-bit implementation could be wired latter. Signed-off-by: Vladimir Murzin <vladimir.murzin@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@arm.com>
2016-11-29irqchip/gic-v3-its: Narrow down Entry Size when used as a dividerVladimir Murzin
GITS_BASER<n>'s Entry Size is much smaller than 64-bit, but when it used as a divider it forces compiler to generate __aeabi_uldivmod if build in 32-bit mode. So, casting it to int (like it is done in other places) where used as a divider would give a hint to compiler that 32-bit division can be used. 2016-11-29irqchip/gic-v3-its: Change unsigned types for AArch32 compatibilityVladimir Murzin
Make sure that constants which are supposed to be applied on 64-bit data is actually unsigned long long, so they won't be truncated when used in 32-bit mode. Signed-off-by: Vladimir Murzin <vladimir.murzin@arm.com> Signed-off-by: Marc Zyngier <marc.zyngier@arm.com>
