2016-07-26PCI: tegra: Program PADS_REFCLK_CFG* registers with per-SoC valuesStephen Warren
The value that should be programmed into the PADS_REFCLK register varies per SoC. Fix the Tegra PCIe driver to program the correct values. Future SoCs will require different values in cfg0/1, so the two values are stored separately in the per-SoC data structures. For reference, the values are all documented in NV bug 1771116 comment 20. The ASIC team has validated all these values, except for the Tegra20 value which is simply left unchanged in this patch. 2016-07-26Input: cros_ec_keyb - cleanup use of devDouglas Anderson
In cros_ec_keyb we stored "dev" in "struct cros_ec_keyb", but this was the EC's dev pointer and not the keyboard's. Let's clean this up to make it the keyboard's dev pointer. 2016-07-26staging: emxx_udc: allow modular buildArnd Bergmann
A change to the usb gadget core allowed certain API functions to be part of a loadable module, which breaks having emxx_udc built-in: drivers/staging/built-in.o: In function `nbu2ss_drv_probe': (.text+0x2428): undefined reference to `usb_ep_set_maxpacket_limit' The original patch already fixed tons of other cases that have the added dependency but apparently missed this one that now appears in an ARM allmodconfig build. This patch makes the symbol "tristate", which lets the Kconfig dependency tracking handle it correctly. To make the module actually usable, I also revert 0af61e66ee16 ("drivers/staging: make emxx_udc.c explicitly non-modular"), which Paul Gortmaker added after noticing that the Kconfig symbol was 'bool'. Compared to the original version however, I leave out the '__exit' annotation on the remove callback, as Paul pointed out that this was incorrect. 2016-07-26drm/sti: use new Reset APILee Jones
Since 0b52297f228 ("reset: Add support for shared reset controls") the new Reset API now demands consumers choose either an *_exclusive or a *_shared line when requesting reset lines. This issue was found when running a kernel containing the aforementioned patch which includes an informitive WARN(). It implies that one or more used reset lines are in fact shared. This is why we're using the *_shared variant. 2016-07-25drivers: net: phy: xgene: Add MDIO driverIyappan Subramanian
Currently, SGMII based 1G rely on the hardware registers for link state and sometimes it's not reliable. To get most accurate link state, this interface has to use the MDIO bus to poll the PHY. In X-Gene SoC, MDIO bus is shared across RGMII and SGMII based 1G interfaces, so adding this driver to manage MDIO bus. This driver registers the mdio bus and registers the PHYs connected to it. 2016-07-25bnxt_en: Improve ntuple filters by checking destination MAC address.Michael Chan
Include the destination MAC address in the ntuple filter structure. The current code assumes that the destination MAC address is always the MAC address of the NIC. This may not be true if there are macvlans, for example. Add destination MAC address checking and configure the filter correctly using the correct index for the destination MAC address. 2016-07-25caif-hsi: Remove deprecated create_singlethread_workqueueBhaktipriya Shridhar
alloc_workqueue replaces deprecated create_singlethread_workqueue(). A dedicated workqueue has been used since the workitems are being used on a packet tx/rx path. Hence, WQ_MEM_RECLAIM has been set to guarantee forward progress under memory pressure. An ordered workqueue has been used since workitems &cfhsi->wake_up_work and &cfhsi->wake_down_work cannot be run concurrently. Calls to flush_workqueue() before destroy_workqueue() have been dropped since destroy_workqueue() itself calls drain_workqueue() which flushes repeatedly till the workqueue becomes empty. Add support for query the minimum inline mode from the Firmware. It is required for correct TX steering according to L3/L4 packet headers. Each send queue (SQ) has inline mode that defines the minimal required headers that needs to be copied into the SQ WQE. The driver asks the Firmware for the wqe_inline_mode device capability value. In case the device capability defined as "vport context" the driver must check the reported min inline mode from the vport context before creating its SQs. 2016-07-25PCI: tegra: Stop setting pcibios_min_memThierry Reding
pcibios_min_mem only exists on 32-bit ARM, so using it in pci-tegra.c prevents the driver from being used on other arches. In __pci_assign_resource(), we clip the available area based on PCIBIOS_MIN_MEM. On 32-bit ARM, this is pcibios_min_mem, with a default value of 0x01000000. For Tegra, we discover the space available for PCI resource allocation from the device tree, and the lowest address that will ever be available is 0x12000000 (on Tegra124). The Tegra windows are always higher than the default pcibios_min_mem, so the __pci_assign_resource() has no effect, so there's no need to adjust pcibios_min_mem here.
