2022-07-18ACPI: CPPC: Don't require flexible address space if X86_FEATURE_CPPC is ↵Mario Limonciello
supported Commit 0651ab90e4ad ("ACPI: CPPC: Check _OSC for flexible address space") changed _CPC probing to require flexible address space to be negotiated for CPPC to work. However it was observed that this caused a regression for Arek's ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503QM which previously CPPC worked, but now it stopped working. To avoid causing a regression waive this failure when the CPU is known to support CPPC. Add new Mediatek CCI (Cache Coherent Interconnect) devfreq driver - Add new MediaTek Cache Coherent Interconnect (CCI) devfreq drviver which supports the dynamic voltage and clock scaling. This driver uses the passive devfreq governor to get target frequencies and adjust voltages because it depends on MediaTek CPU frequency driver. In MT8183 and MT8186, the MediaTek CCI is supplied by the same regulators with the little core CPUs. 2. Update devfreq drivers - Convert the Samsung Exynos SoC Bus bindings to DT schema of exynos-bus.c. - Remove kernel-doc warnings by adding the description for unused fucntion parameters on devfreq core. - Use NULL to pass a null pointer rather than zero according to function propotype on imx-bus.c. - Print error message instead of error interger value on tegra30-devfreq.c." * tag 'devfreq-next-for-5.20' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/chanwoo/linux: PM / devfreq: tegra30: Add error message for devm_devfreq_add_device() PM / devfreq: imx-bus: use NULL to pass a null pointer rather than zero PM / devfreq: shut up kernel-doc warnings dt-bindings: interconnect: samsung,exynos-bus: convert to dtschema PM / devfreq: mediatek: Introduce MediaTek CCI devfreq driver dt-bindings: interconnect: Add MediaTek CCI dt-bindings

2022-07-18iio: light: us5182: Switch from CONFIG_PM guards to pm_ptr() etcJonathan Cameron
Letting the compiler remove these functions when the kernel is built without CONFIG_PM support is simpler and less error prone than the use of #ifdef based config guards. Removing instances of this approach from IIO also stops them being copied into new drivers. Very likely it would be safe to use DEFINE_RUNTIME_DEV_PM_OPS() here, but that would be a functional change. 2022-07-18iio: cros: Register FIFO callback after sensor is registeredGwendal Grignou
Instead of registering callback to process sensor events right at initialization time, wait for the sensor to be register in the iio subsystem. Events can come at probe time (in case the kernel rebooted abruptly without switching the sensor off for instance), and be sent to IIO core before the sensor is fully registered. MT8188 SCP has two RISC-V cores and similar to MT8195 with some differences. The MT8188 SCP doesn't have the l1tcm and fix the DSP EMI issue on MT8195. 2022-07-18iavf: Fix missing state logsPrzemyslaw Patynowski
Fix debug prints, by adding missing state prints. Extend iavf_state_str by strings for __IAVF_INIT_EXTENDED_CAPS and __IAVF_INIT_CONFIG_ADAPTER. Without this patch, when enabling debug prints for iavf.h, user will see: iavf 0000:06:0e.0: state transition from:__IAVF_INIT_GET_RESOURCES to:__IAVF_UNKNOWN_STATE iavf 0000:06:0e.0: state transition from:__IAVF_UNKNOWN_STATE to:__IAVF_UNKNOWN_STATE Fixes: 605ca7c5c670 ("iavf: Fix kernel BUG in free_msi_irqs") Signed-off-by: Przemyslaw Patynowski <przemyslawx.patynowski@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Jun Zhang <xuejun.zhang@intel.com> Tested-by: Konrad Jankowski <konrad0.jankowski@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Nguyen <anthony.l.nguyen@intel.com>
2022-07-18iavf: Fix handling of dummy receive descriptorsPrzemyslaw Patynowski
Fix memory leak caused by not handling dummy receive descriptor properly. iavf_get_rx_buffer now sets the rx_buffer return value for dummy receive descriptors. Without this patch, when the hardware writes a dummy descriptor, iavf would not free the page allocated for the previous receive buffer. This is an unlikely event but can still happen. 2022-07-18iavf: Disallow changing rx/tx-frames and rx/tx-frames-irqPrzemyslaw Patynowski
Remove from supported_coalesce_params ETHTOOL_COALESCE_MAX_FRAMES and ETHTOOL_COALESCE_MAX_FRAMES_IRQ. As tx-frames-irq allowed user to change budget for iavf_clean_tx_irq, remove work_limit and use define for budget. Without this patch there would be possibility to change rx/tx-frames and rx/tx-frames-irq, which for rx/tx-frames did nothing, while for rx/tx-frames-irq it changed rx/tx-frames and only changed budget for cleaning NAPI poll.
