When the tcm_loop_nr_hw_queues is set to a value greater than 1, the
tags of requests in the block layer are no longer unique. This may lead
to erroneous aborting of commands with the same tag. The issue can be
resolved by using blk_mq_unique_tag to generate globally unique
identifiers by combining the hardware queue index and per-queue tags.

Commit 32566a6f1ae5 ("scsi: lpfc: Remove NLP_RELEASE_RPI flag from nodelist
structure") introduced a regression with SLI-3 adapters (e.g. LPe12000 8Gb)
where a Link Down / Link Up such as caused by disabling an host FC switch
port would result in the devices remaining in the transport-offline state
and multipath reporting them as failed. This problem was not seen with
newer SLI-4 adapters.
The problem was caused by portions of the patch which removed the functions
__lpfc_sli_rpi_release() and lpfc_sli_rpi_release() and all their callers.
This was presumably because with the removal of the NLP_RELEASE_RPI flag
there was no need to free the rpi.
However, __lpfc_sli_rpi_release() and lpfc_sli_rpi_release() which calls it
reset the NLP_UNREG_INP flag. And, lpfc_sli_def_mbox_cmpl() has a path
where __lpfc_sli_rpi_release() was called in a particular case where
NLP_UNREG_INP was not otherwise cleared because of other conditions.
Restoring the else clause of this conditional and simply clearing the
NLP_UNREG_INP flag appears to resolve the problem with SLI-3 adapters. It
should be noted that the code path in question is not specific to SLI-3,
but there are other SLI-4 code paths which may have masked the issue.

At present, we determine the protocol through the cmd type, but other cmd
types, such as vendor-specific commands, default to the PIO protocol. This
strategy often causes the execution of different vendor-specific commands
to fail. In fact, for these commands, a better way is to use the protocol
configured by the command's tf to determine its protocol.

The return value of i3c_master_get_free_addr is assigned to a variable
with wrong type, so it can't be negative. Use a signed integer for the
return value. If the value is negative, break the process and propagate
the error code.
This commit also fixes the uninitialized symbol 'dyn_addr', reported
by Smatch static checker.

Use the `DEFINE_RAW_FLEX()` helper for an on-stack definition of
a flexible structure where the size of the flexible-array member
is known at compile-time, and refactor the rest of the code,

The hardware alarm only supports one-minute accuracy which is coarse and
disables UIE usage. Use the 1-second interrupt to achieve per-second
accuracy. It is activated once we hit the per-minute alarm. The new
feature is optional. When there is no 1-second interrupt, old behaviour
with per-minute accuracy is used as before. With this feature, all tests
of 'rtctest' are successfully passed.

Some systems report INTx as not routed by setting pdev->irq to
IRQ_NOTCONNECTED, resulting in a -ENOTCONN error when trying to
setup eventfd signaling. Include this in the set of conditions
for which the PIN register is virtualized to zero.
Additionally consolidate vfio_pci_get_irq_count() to use this
virtualized value in reporting INTx support via ioctl and sanity
checking ioctl paths since pdev->irq is re-used when the device
is in MSI mode.
The combination of these results in both the config space of the
device and the ioctl interface behaving as if the device does not
support INTx.

stmmac_release() calls phylink_stop() and then goes on to call
stmmac_mac_set(, false). However, phylink_stop() will call
stmmac_mac_link_down() before returning, which will do this work.
Remove this unnecessary call.

While the network device is registered, it is published to userspace,
and thus userspace can change its state. This means calling
functions such as stmmac_stop_all_dma() and stmmac_mac_set() are
racy.
Moreover, unregister_netdev() will unpublish the network device, and
then if appropriate call the .ndo_stop() method, which is
stmmac_release(). This will first call phylink_stop() which will
synchronously take the link down, resulting in stmmac_mac_link_down()
and stmmac_mac_set(, false) being called.
stmmac_release() will also call stmmac_stop_all_dma().
Consequently, neither of these two functions need to called prior
to unregister_netdev() as that will safely call paths that will
result in this work being done if necessary.
Remove these redundant racy calls.

Lenovo ThinkPad Hybrid USB-C with USB-A Dock (17ef:a359) is affected by
the same problem as the Lenovo Powered USB-C Travel Hub (17ef:721e):
Both are based on the Realtek RTL8153B chip used to use the cdc_ether
driver. However, using this driver, with the system suspended the device
constantly sends pause-frames as soon as the receive buffer fills up.
This causes issues with other devices, where some Ethernet switches stop
forwarding packets altogether.
Using the Realtek driver (r8152) fixes this issue. Pause frames are no
longer sent while the host system is suspended.

intel_tsn_lane_is_available()
Fix the warning "warn: missing error code? 'ret'" in the
intel_tsn_lane_is_available() function.
The function now returns 0 to indicate that a TSN lane was found and
returns -EINVAL when it is not found.

Move devm_pci_alloc_host_bridge() to the beginning of dw_pcie_host_init().
devm_pci_alloc_host_bridge() is generic code that doesn't depend on any DWC
resource, so moving it earlier keeps all the subsequent devicetree-related

Rename 'cpu_addr' to 'parent_bus_addr' in the DesignWare ATU configuration.
The ATU translates parent bus addresses to PCI addresses, which are often
the same as CPU addresses but can differ in systems where the bus fabric
translates addresses before passing them to the PCIe controller. This
renaming clarifies the purpose and avoids confusion.

The msg_res region translates writes into PCIe Message TLPs. Previously we
mapped this region using atu.cpu_addr, the input address programmed into
the ATU.
"cpu_addr" is a misnomer because when a bus fabric translates addresses
between the CPU and the ATU, the ATU input address is different from the
CPU address. A future patch will rename "cpu_addr" and correct the value
to be the ATU input address instead of the CPU physical address.
Map the msg_res region before writing to it using the msg_res resource
start, a CPU physical address.

Add support for the Congatec Board Controller. This controller exposes
temperature, voltage, current and fan sensors.
The available sensors list cannot be predicted. Some sensors can be
present or not, depending the system.
The driver has an internal list of all possible sensors, for all Congatec
boards. The Board Controller gives to the driver its sensors list, and
their status (active or not).

Add support for HW Steering action of flow sampler destination. For each

Add support for HW Steering action of flow meter range. Flow meters
range can use one HWS action for the whole range. Thus, share a cached
HWS action among rules that use same flow meter object range. Hold
refcount for each rule using the cached action.

Counters HWS actions are shared using refcount, to create action on
demand by flow steering rule and destroy only when no rules are using
the action. The method is extensible to other HWS action types, such as
flow meter and sampler actions, in the downstream patches.
Add an API to facilitate the reuse of get/put logic for HWS actions
shared by refcount.

The fault object was designed exclusively for hwpt's IO page faults (PRI).
But its queue implementation can be reused for other purposes too, such as
hardware IRQ and event injections to user space.
Meanwhile, a fault object holds a list of faults. So it's more accurate to
call it a "fault queue". Combining the reusing idea above, abstract a new
iommufd_eventq as a common structure embedded into struct iommufd_fault,
similar to hwpt_paging holding a common hwpt.
Add a common iommufd_eventq_ops and iommufd_eventq_init to prepare for an
IOMMUFD_OBJ_VEVENTQ (vIOMMU Event Queue).

The infrastructure of a fault object will be shared with a new vEVENTQ
object in a following change. Add an iommufd_fault_init helper and an
INIT_EVENTQ_FOPS marco for a vEVENTQ allocator to use too.
Reorder the iommufd_ctx_get and refcount_inc, to keep them symmetrical
with the iommufd_fault_fops_release().
Since the new vEVENTQ doesn't need "response" and its "mutex", so keep
the xa_init_flags and mutex_init in their original locations.

There is no need to keep them in the header. The vEVENTQ version of these
two functions will turn out to be a different implementation and will not
share with this fault version. Thus, move them out of the header.

fwctl provides a fwctl_ops->fw_rpc() callback in order to issue ioctls
to a device. The cxl fwctl driver will start by supporting the CXL
Feature commands: Get Supported Features, Get Feature, and Set Feature.
The fw_rpc() callback provides 'enum fwctl_rpc_scope' parameter where
it indicates the security scope of the call. The Get Supported Features
and Get Feature calls can be executed with the scope of
FWCTL_RPC_CONFIGRATION. The Set Feature call is gated by the effects
of the Feature reported by Get Supported Features call for the specific
Feature.
Only "Get Supported Features" is supported in this patch. Additional
commands will be added in follow on patches. "Get Supported Features"
will filter the Features that are exclusive to the kernel. The flag
field of the Feature details will be cleared of the "Changeable"
field and the "set feat size" will be set to 0 to indicate that
the feature is not changeable.

Add fwctl support code to allow sending of CXL feature commands from
userspace through as ioctls via FWCTL. Provide initial setup bits. The
CXL PCI probe function will call devm_cxl_setup_fwctl() after the
cxl_memdev has been enumerated in order to setup FWCTL char device under
the cxl_memdev like the existing memdev char device for issuing CXL raw
mailbox commands from userspace via ioctls.

Add CXL Features support. Setup code for enabling in kernel usage of CXL
Features. Expecting EDAC/RAS to utilize CXL Features in kernel for
things such as memory sparing. Also prepartion for enabling of CXL FWCTL
support to issue allowed Features from user space.

The new option is CONFIG_NULL_TTY_DEFAULT_CONSOLE.
if enabled, and CONFIG_VT is disabled, ttynull will become the default
primary console device.
ttynull will be the only console device usually with this option enabled.
Some architectures do call add_preferred_console() which may add another
console though.
Motivation:
Many distributions ship with CONFIG_VT enabled. On tested desktop hardware
if CONFIG_VT is disabled, the default console device falls back to
/dev/ttyS0 instead of /dev/tty.
This could cause issues in user space, and hardware problems:
1. The user space issues include the case where /dev/ttyS0 is
disconnected, and the TCGETS ioctl, which some user space libraries use
as a probe to determine if a file is a tty, is called on /dev/console and
fails. Programs that call isatty() on /dev/console and get an incorrect
false value may skip expected logging to /dev/console.
2. The hardware issues include the case if a user has a science instrument
or other device connected to the /dev/ttyS0 port, and they were to upgrade
to a kernel that is disabling the CONFIG_VT option, kernel logs will then
be sent to the device connected to /dev/ttyS0 unless they edit their
kernel command line manually.
The new CONFIG_NULL_TTY_DEFAULT_CONSOLE option will give users and
distribution maintainers an option to avoid this. Disabling CONFIG_VT and
enabling CONFIG_NULL_TTY_DEFAULT_CONSOLE will ensure the default kernel
console behavior is not dependent on hardware configuration by default, and
avoid unexpected new behavior on devices connected to the /dev/ttyS0 serial
port.

Add support for LT7170 and LT7171. The LT7170 and LT7171 are 20 A, 16 V,
Single- or Dual-Phase, Silent Switcher Step-Down Regulators with Digital
Power System Management.
The relevant registers in the LT7170 and LT7171 are similar to those in
the LTC3887, but with fewer channels. This adds the chip ID and
identification of ASCII to differentiate between the LT7170 and LT7171.
These devices support polling for status updates and clearing peak
values. The data format for voltage, current, and temperature is set to
IEEE754 for precision and compatibility.

Commit f3974aca381e ("power: supply: bq27xxx: do not report bogus zero
values") breaks property reporting on chips which are reporting normal
values. During testing, excessive emphasis was evidently placed on the
chip with non-working conditions, and not enough testing was done on a
battery that had normal state.
A correct fix will be submitted in a separate patch.
