The liodn base registers are specific to PAMU based NXP systems and are
reserved on SMMU based ones. Don't access them unless PAMU is compiled in.

virt_wifi_newlink() calls netdev_upper_dev_link() and it internally
holds reference count of lower interface.
Current code does not release a reference count of the lower interface
when the lower interface is being deleted.
So, reference count leaks occur.

This patch removes variables and callback these are related to the nested
device structure.
devices that can be nested have their own nest_level variable that
represents the depth of nested devices.
In the previous patch, new {lower/upper}_level variables are added and
they replace old private nest_level variable.
So, this patch removes all 'nest_level' variables.
In order to avoid lockdep warning, ->ndo_get_lock_subclass() was added
to get lockdep subclass value, which is actually lower nested depth value.
But now, they use the dynamic lockdep key to avoid lockdep warning instead
of the subclass.
So, this patch removes ->ndo_get_lock_subclass() callback.

Current vxlan code doesn't limit the number of nested devices.
Nested devices would be handled recursively and this routine needs
huge stack memory. So, unlimited nested devices could make
stack overflow.
In order to fix this issue, this patch adds adjacent links.
The adjacent link APIs internally check the depth level.
Test commands:

When a macsec interface is created, it increases a refcnt to a lower
device(real device). when macsec interface is deleted, the refcnt is
decreased in macsec_free_netdev(), which is ->priv_destructor() of
macsec interface.
The problem scenario is this.
When nested macsec interfaces are exiting, the exit routine of the
macsec module makes refcnt leaks.

Steps of exit routine of macsec module are below.
1. Calls ->dellink() in __rtnl_link_unregister().
2. Checks refcnt and wait refcnt to be 0 if refcnt is not 0 in
netdev_run_todo().
3. Calls ->priv_destruvtor() in netdev_run_todo().
Step2 checks refcnt, but step3 decreases refcnt.
So, step2 waits forever.
This patch makes the macsec module do not hold a refcnt of the lower
device because it already holds a refcnt of the lower device with
netdev_upper_dev_link().

team interface could be nested and it's lock variable could be nested too.
But this lock uses static lockdep key and there is no nested locking
handling code such as mutex_lock_nested() and so on.
so the Lockdep would warn about the circular locking scenario that
couldn't happen.
In order to fix, this patch makes the team module to use dynamic lock key
instead of static key.

All bonding device has same lockdep key and subclass is initialized with
nest_level.
But actual nest_level value can be changed when a lower device is attached.
And at this moment, the subclass should be updated but it seems to be
unsafe.
So this patch makes bonding use dynamic lockdep key instead of the
subclass.

The IFF_BONDING means bonding master or bonding slave device.
->ndo_add_slave() sets IFF_BONDING flag and ->ndo_del_slave() unsets
IFF_BONDING flag.
bond0<--bond1
Both bond0 and bond1 are bonding device and these should keep having
IFF_BONDING flag until they are removed.
But bond1 would lose IFF_BONDING at ->ndo_del_slave() because that routine
do not check whether the slave device is the bonding type or not.
This patch adds the interface type check routine before removing
IFF_BONDING flag.

Some interface types could be nested.
(VLAN, BONDING, TEAM, MACSEC, MACVLAN, IPVLAN, VIRT_WIFI, VXLAN, etc..)
These interface types should set lockdep class because, without lockdep
class key, lockdep always warn about unexisting circular locking.
In the current code, these interfaces have their own lockdep class keys and
these manage itself. So that there are so many duplicate code around the
/driver/net and /net/.
This patch adds new generic lockdep keys and some helper functions for it.
This patch does below changes.
a) Add lockdep class keys in struct net_device
- qdisc_running, xmit, addr_list, qdisc_busylock
- these keys are used as dynamic lockdep key.
b) When net_device is being allocated, lockdep keys are registered.
- alloc_netdev_mqs()
c) When net_device is being free'd llockdep keys are unregistered.
- free_netdev()
d) Add generic lockdep key helper function
- netdev_register_lockdep_key()
- netdev_unregister_lockdep_key()
- netdev_update_lockdep_key()
e) Remove unnecessary generic lockdep macro and functions
f) Remove unnecessary lockdep code of each interfaces.
After this patch, each interface modules don't need to maintain
their lockdep keys.

Pull power management fixes from Rafael Wysocki:
"These fix problems related to frequency limits management in cpufreq
that were introduced during the 5.3 cycle (when PM QoS had started to
be used for that), fix a few issues in the OPP (operating performance
points) library code and fix up the recently added haltpoll cpuidle
driver.
The cpufreq changes are somewhat bigger that I would like them to be
at this stage of the cycle, but the problems fixed by them include
crashes on boot and shutdown in some cases (among other things) and in
my view it is better to address the root of the issue right away.
Specifics:
- Using device PM QoS of CPU devices for managing frequency limits in
cpufreq does not work, so introduce frequency QoS (based on the
original low-level PM QoS) for this purpose, switch cpufreq and
related code over to using it and fix a race involving deferred
updates of frequency limits on top of that (Rafael Wysocki, Sudeep
Holla).
- Avoid calling regulator_enable()/disable() from the OPP framework
to avoid side-effects on boot-enabled regulators that may change
their initial voltage due to performing initial voltage balancing
without all restrictions from the consumers (Marek Szyprowski).
- Avoid a kref management issue in the OPP library code and drop an
incorrectly added lockdep_assert_held() from it (Viresh Kumar).
- Make the recently added haltpoll cpuidle driver take the 'idle='
override into account as appropriate (Zhenzhong Duan)"

When in slave mode, an arbitration loss (ARLO) may be detected before the
slave had a chance to detect the stop condition (STOPF in ISR).
This is seen when two master + slave adapters switch their roles. It
provokes the i2c bus to be stuck, busy as SCL line is stretched.
- the I2C_SLAVE_STOP event is never generated due to STOPF flag is set but
don't generate an irq (race with ARLO irq, STOPIE is masked). STOPF flag
remains set until next master xfer (e.g. when STOPIE irq get unmasked).
In this case, completion is generated too early: immediately upon new
transfer request (then it doesn't send all data).
- Some data get stuck in TXDR register. As a consequence, the controller
stretches the SCL line: the bus gets busy until a future master transfer
triggers the bus busy / recovery mechanism (this can take time... and
may never happen at all)
So choice is to let the STOPF being detected by the slave isr handler,
to properly handle this stop condition. E.g. don't mask IRQs in error
handler, when the slave is running.

The slave-interface documentation [1] states "the bus driver should
transmit the first byte" upon I2C_SLAVE_READ_REQUESTED slave event:
- 'val': backend returns first byte to be sent
The driver currently ignores the 1st byte to send on this event.

Since commit abf4923e97c3 ("i2c: mediatek: disable zero-length transfers
for mt8183"), there is a NULL pointer dereference for all the SoCs
that don't have any quirk. mtk_i2c_functionality is not checking that
the quirks pointer is not NULL before starting to use it.
This commit add a call to i2c_check_quirks which will check whether
the quirks pointer is set, and if so will check if the IP has the
NO_ZERO_LEN quirk.

The counter resource should return -EAGAIN if it was requested for a
different port, this is similar to how QP works if the users provides a
port filter.
Otherwise port filtering in netlink will return broken counter nests.

On a system without Single VMOVP support (say GITS_TYPER.VMOVP == 0),
we will map vPEs only on ITSs that will actually control interrupts
for the given VM. And when moving a vPE, the VMOVP command will be
issued only for those ITSs.
But when issuing VMOVPs we seemed fail to present the exact ITSList
to ITSs who are actually included in the synchronization operation.
The its_list_map we're currently using includes all ITSs in the system,
even though some of them don't have the corresponding vPE mapping at all.
Introduce get_its_list() to get the per-VM its_list_map, to indicate
which ITSs have vPE mappings for the given VM, and use this map as
the expected ITSList when building VMOVP. This is hopefully a performance
gain not to do some synchronization with those unsuspecting ITSs.
And initialize the whole command descriptor to zero at beginning, since
the seq_num and its_list should be RES0 when GITS_TYPER.VMOVP == 1.

Depending on FW configuration we can manage from 0 to 3 PINs for periodic output
and from 0 to 1 ext ts PIN for getting TS for external event.
Ext TS PIN functionality is implemented via periodic timestamps polling
directly from PHY, because right now there is now way to receive the
PIN trigger interrupt from phy.
The polling interval is 15 milliseconds.

GPIO PIN control and access is done by direct phy manipulation.
Here we add an aq_phy module which is able to access phy registers
via MDIO access mailbox.
Access is controlled via HW semaphore.

We implement HW filter reservation for PTP traffic. Special location
in filters table is marked as reserved, because incoming ptp traffic
should be directed only to PTP designated queue. This way HW will do PTP
timestamping and proper processing.

Add implementations of PTP rings alloc/free.
PTP desing on this device uses two separate rings on a separate traffic
class for traffic rx/tx.
Third ring (hwts) is not a traffic ring, but is used only to receive timestamps
of the transmitted packets.

Basic HW functions implemented for adjusting frequency,
adjusting time, getting and setting time.
With these callbacks we now do register ptp clock in the system.
Firmware interface parts are defined for PTP requests and interactions.
Enable/disable PTP counters in HW on clock register/unregister.

Here we add basic function for PTP clock register/unregister.
We also declare FW/HW capability bits used to control PTP feature on device.
PTP device is created if network card has appropriate FW that has PTP
enabled in config. HW supports timestamping for PTPv2 802.AS1 and
PTPv2 IPv4 UDP packets.
It also supports basic PTP callbacks for getting/setting time, adjusting
frequency and time as well.

This commit adds several Tx/Rx physical information to phy_info
debugfs for 8822B/8822C. By this debugfs, we can know physical
information, such as Tx/Rx rate, RSSI, EVM,SNR, etc. The
information is gotten from the packets of Tx/Rx path. It has
no impact for the performance of 8822B/8822C.
In the fields, we may meet different kinds of problems, but
we may have no professional instrument to check them. At
this moment, this debugfs is a good tool, and it may provide
useful information for debug.

Support setting bit rate from upper layer.
After configuring the original rate control result in the driver, the
result is then masked by the bit rate mask received from the ops
set_bitrate_mask. Lastly, the masked result will be sent to firmware.

Enable MU-MIMO transmit beamformee support for chipset 8822b and 8822c.
If the driver is in station mode and associated with an AP, and the
capabilities of both meet the requirement of beamforming, driver will
run as a beamformee and the corresponding chip settings will be set.
In addition, module parameter support_bf is added to enable or disable
beamforming. Sometimes driver will need to disable for inter-operate
issues, and it would be easier for driver to debug.

The temperature of the chip can affect the output power
of the RF components. Hence driver requires to compensate
the power by adjusting the power index recorded in the
power swing table.
And if the difference of current thermal value to the
default thermal value exceeds a threshold, the RF IQK
should be triggered to re-calibrate the characteristics
of the RF components, to keep the output IQ vectors of
the RF components orthogonal enough.

The LAN8740, like the 8720, also requires a reset after enabling clock.
The datasheet [1] 3.8.5.1 says:
"During a Hardware reset, an external clock must be supplied
to the XTAL1/CLKIN signal."
I have observed this issue on a custom i.MX6 based board with
the LAN8740A.

There are two resources associated with shared buffer size:
cap_total_buffer_size, and cap_guaranteed_shared_buffer. So far, mlxsw has
been using the former as a limit to determine how large a pool size is
allowed to be. However, the total size also includes headrooms and reserved
space, which really cannot be used for shared buffer pools.
Therefore convert mlxsw to use the latter resource as a limit. Adjust
hard-coded pool sizes to be the guaranteed size minus 256000 bytes for CPU
port pool. On Spectrum-1 that actually leads to an increase. A follow-up
patch will have this size calculated automatically.

Setting PCI_EXP_DEVCTL_NOSNOOP_EN for certain chip versions had been
added to the vendor driver more than 10 years ago, and copied from
there to r8169. It has been removed from the vendor driver meanwhile
and I think we can safely remove this too.

The BCM54616S PHY cannot work properly in RGMII->1000Base-X mode, mainly
because genphy functions are designed for copper links, and 1000Base-X
(clause 37) auto negotiation needs to be handled differently.
This patch enables 1000Base-X support for BCM54616S by customizing 3
driver callbacks, and it's verified to be working on Facebook CMM BMC
platform (RGMII->1000Base-KX):
- probe: probe callback detects PHY's operation mode based on
INTERF_SEL[1:0] pins and 1000X/100FX selection bit in SerDES 100-FX
Control register.
- config_aneg: calls genphy_c37_config_aneg when the PHY is running in
1000Base-X mode; otherwise, genphy_config_aneg will be called.
- read_status: calls genphy_c37_read_status when the PHY is running in
1000Base-X mode; otherwise, genphy_read_status will be called.
Note: BCM54616S PHY can also be configured in RGMII->100Base-FX mode, and
100Base-FX support is not available as of now.
