While testing with the ARM specific memset() macro removed, I ran into a
compiler warning that shows an old bug:

It turns out that the definition of the scsi_cmd structure changed back
in linux-2.6.25, so now we clear only four bytes (sizeof(pointer))
instead of 96 (SCSI_SENSE_BUFFERSIZE). I did not check whether we
actually need to initialize the buffer here, but it's clear that if we
do it, we should use the correct size.

When device gone, NULL pointer can be accessed in free_device callback
if during SAS controller reset as we clear structure sas_dev prior.
Actually we can only set dev_type as SAS_PHY_UNUSED and not clear
structure sas_dev as all the members of structure sas_dev will be
re-initialized after device found.

This patch implements LED feature of directly attached disk for v2 hw.
As libsas has provided an interface lldd_write_gpio() for this feature,
we just need realise the interface following SPGIO API.
We use an CPLD to finish the hardware part of this feature, and the base
address of CPLD should be configured through ACPI or DT tables.

NVMe passthrough via MFI interface. Current MegaRAID product supports
different types of encapsulation via the MFI framework.
NVMe native command should be framed by application and it should be
embedded in MFI as payload. The driver will provide interface to send
the MFI frame along with the payload (in this case, payload is NVMe
native command) to the firmware. Driver already has an existing, similar
interface for SATA and SMP passthrough.
1. Driver will pass MFI command to the firmware if the latter supports
NVMe encapsulated processing (not all SAS3.5 firmware supports this
feature).
2. Driver exposes sysfs entry support_nvme_encapsulation. This is
required for backward compatibility for applications using earlier
driver versions that did not process IOCTL frames and could result in
host hang.
This is already fixed as part of commit 82add4e1b354 ("scsi:
megaraid_sas: Incorrect processing of IOCTL frames for SMP/STP
commands")

do_gettimeofday() overflows in 2038 on 32-bit architectures and is
deprecated, so convert this driver to call ktime_get_real()
directly. This also simplifies the calculation.

struct timespec is deprecated since it overflows in 2038 on 32-bit
architectures, so we should use timespec64 consistently.
I'm slightly adapting the format strings here, to make sure we print the
nanoseconds with the correct number of leading zeroes.

To ease analyzing boot behavior from logs, let's log when we are about to
register the pass-through serio port.
Also, let's drop "Synaptics" prefix from the port name, as RMI4 is good
enough indicator already, and having the prefix means that the name does
not fit into serio->name field. While at it move from hard-coded seio->phys
to one mentioning the sensor ID (such as "rmi4-00.fn03/serio0").

Currently we register the pass-through serio port when we probe the F03 RMI
function, and then, in sensor configure phase, we unmask interrupts.
Unfortunately this is too late, as other drivers are free probe devices
attached to the serio port as soon as it is probed. Because interrupts are
masked, the IO times out, which may result in not being able to detect
trackpoints on the pass-through port.
To fix the issue we implement open() and close() methods for the
pass-through serio port and unmask interrupts from there. We also move
creation of the pass-through port form probe to configure stage, as RMI
driver does not enable transport interrupt until all functions are probed
(we should change this, but this is a separate topic).
We also try to clear the pending data before unmasking interrupts, because
some devices like to spam the system with multiple 0xaa 0x00 announcements,
which may interfere with us trying to query ID of the device.

We want to free memory reserved for interrupt mask handling only after we
free functions, as function drivers might want to mask interrupts. This is
needed for the followup patch to the F03 that would implement unmasking and
masking interrupts from the serio pass-through port open() and close()
methods.

Use managed resource allocations to simplify error handling during
probing failure and module exiting.
With this all the goto labels in the probe function together with
the cleanups in the remove function are unnecessary, therefore
removed.

The newer trackpoints from ALPS, Elan and NXP implement a very limited
subset of extended commands and controls that the original trackpoints
implemented, so we should not be exposing not working controls in sysfs.
The newer trackpoints also do not implement "Power On Reset" or "Read
Extended Button Status", so we should not be using these commands during
initialization.
While we are at it, let's change "unsigned char" to u8 for byte data or
bool for booleans and use better suited error codes instead of -1.

Lenovo introduced trackpoint compatible sticks with minimum PS/2 commands.
They supposed to reply with 0x02, 0x03, or 0x04 in response to the
"Read Extended ID" command, so we would know not to try certain extended
commands. Unfortunately even some trackpoints reporting the original IBM
version (0x01 firmware 0x0e) now respond with incorrect data to the "Get
Extended Buttons" command:

psmouse serio2: trackpoint: IBM TrackPoint firmware: 0x0e, buttons: 0/0
Since there are no trackpoints without buttons, let's assume the trackpoint
has 3 buttons when we get 0 response to the extended buttons query.

Similarly to tx ring, xdp_rxq_info is only registered
when !tfile->detached, so we need to avoid calling
xdp_rxq_info_unreg() twice too. The helper tun_cleanup_tx_ring()
already checks for this properly, so it is correct to put
xdp_rxq_info_unreg() just inside there.

Pass a pointer to an extack object to nfp_app_xdp_offload() in order to
prepare for extack usage in the nfp driver. Next step will be to forward
this extack pointer to nfp_net_bpf_offload(), once this function is able
to use it for printing error messages.

Since we no longer localize channel/CPU affiliation within one NUMA
node, num_online_cpus() is used as the number of channel cap, instead of
the number of processors in a NUMA node.
This patch allows a bigger range for tuning the number of channels.

The commit 622190669403 ("be2net: Request RSS capability of Rx interface
depending on number of Rx rings") modified be_update_queues() so the
IFACE (HW representation of the netdevice) is destroyed and then
re-created. This causes a regression because potential promiscuous mode
is not restored properly during be_open() because the driver thinks
that the HW has promiscuous mode already enabled.
Note that Lancer is not affected by this bug because RX-filter flags are
disabled during be_close() for this chipset.

Broadcom tags inserted by Broadcom switches put a 4 byte header after
the MAC SA and before the EtherType, which may look like some sort of 0
length LLC/SNAP packet (tcpdump and wireshark do think that way). With
ACS enabled in stmmac the packets were truncated to 8 bytes on
reception, whereas clearing this bit allowed normal reception to occur.
In order to make that possible, we need to pass a net_device argument to
the different core_init() functions and we are dependent on the Broadcom
tagger padding packets correctly (which it now does). To be as little
invasive as possible, this is only done for gmac1000 when the network
device is DSA-enabled (netdev_uses_dsa() returns true).

The manager table is empty by default. If it is not initialized, the
management pkgs like LLDP will be dropped by hardware. Default entries
need to be added to manager table.

In reset events in which our memory allocations need to be reallocated,
VPD data is being freed, but never reallocated. This can cause issues if
we later attempt to access that memory or reset and attempt to free the
memory. This patch moves the allocation of the VPD data to init_resources
so that it will be symmetrically freed during release resources.

If we request an unsupported mtu value, the vnic server will suggest a
different value. Currently we take the suggested value without question
and login with that value. However, the behavior doesn't seem completely
sane as attempting to change the mtu to some specific value will change
the mtu to some completely different value most of the time. This patch
fixes the issue by logging in with the previously used mtu value and
printing an error message saying that the given mtu is unsupported.

Using newer backing devices can cause the required padding at the end of
buffer as well as the number of queues to change after a failover.
Since we currently assume that these values never change, after a
failover to a backing device with different capabilities, we can get
errors from the vnic server, attempt to free long term buffers that are
no longer there, or not free long term buffers that should be freed.
This patch resolves the issue by checking whether any of these values
change, and if so perform the necessary re-allocations.

Commit ccfdec908922 ("macsec: Add support for GCM-AES-256 cipher suite")
changed a few values in the uapi headers for MACsec.
Because of existing userspace implementations, we need to preserve the
value of MACSEC_DEFAULT_CIPHER_ID. Not doing that resulted in
wpa_supplicant segfaults when a secure channel was created using the
default cipher. Thus, swap MACSEC_DEFAULT_CIPHER_{ID,ALT} back to their
original values.
Changing the maximum length of the MACSEC_SA_ATTR_KEY attribute is
unnecessary, as the previous value (MACSEC_MAX_KEY_LEN, which was 128B)
is large enough to carry 32-bytes keys. This patch reverts
MACSEC_MAX_KEY_LEN to 128B and restores the old length check on
MACSEC_SA_ATTR_KEY.

When !CONFIG_REGMAP hns throws compiler warnings since
dsaf_read_syscon ignores the return result from regmap_read,
which allows val to be uninitialized.

That a kevent could not be scheduled is not an error.
Such handlers must be able to deal with multiple events anyway.
As the successful scheduling of a work is a debug event, make
the failure debug priority, too.

The main purpose of this patch is adding a way of checking per-queue stats.
It's useful to debug performance problems on multiqueue environment.

Adds support for the current lineup of Xbox One controllers from PDP
(Performance Designed Products). These controllers are very picky with
their initialization sequence and require an additional 2 packets before
they send any input reports.
