amd_pmf_get_slider_info() checks the current profile to report correct
value to the TA inputs. If hidden options are in use then the wrong
values will be reported to TA.
Add the two compat options PLATFORM_PROFILE_BALANCED_PERFORMANCE and
PLATFORM_PROFILE_QUIET for this use.

S2MPU05 is a PMIC by manufactured by Samsung, particularly used in

Add support for Samsung's S2MPU05 PMIC. It's the primary PMIC used by

Currently, the IB uverbs API calls uobj_get_uobj_read(), which in turn
uses the rdma_lookup_get_uobject() helper to retrieve user objects.
In case of failure, uobj_get_uobj_read() returns NULL, overriding the
error code from rdma_lookup_get_uobject(). The IB uverbs API then
translates this NULL to -EINVAL, masking the actual error and
complicating debugging. For example, applications calling ibv_modify_qp
that fails with EBUSY when retrieving the QP uobject will see the
overridden error code EINVAL instead, masking the actual error.
Furthermore, based on rdma-core commit:
"2a22f1ced5f3 ("Merge pull request #1568 from jakemoroni/master")"
Kernel's IB uverbs return values are either ignored and passed on as is
to application or overridden with other errnos in a few cases.
Thus, to improve error reporting and debuggability, propagate the
original error from rdma_lookup_get_uobject() instead of replacing it
with EINVAL.

When on a MANA VM hibernation is triggered, as part of hibernate_snapshot(),
mana_gd_suspend() and mana_gd_resume() are called. If during this
mana_gd_resume(), a failure occurs with HWC creation, mana_port_debugfs
pointer does not get reinitialized and ends up pointing to older,
cleaned-up dentry.
Further in the hibernation path, as part of power_down(), mana_gd_shutdown()
is triggered. This call, unaware of the failures in resume, tries to cleanup
the already cleaned up mana_port_debugfs value and hits the following bug:

mlx5_eswitch_get_vepa returns -EPERM if the device lacks
eswitch_manager capability, blocking mlx5e_bridge_getlink from
retrieving VEPA mode. Since mlx5e_bridge_getlink implements
ndo_bridge_getlink, returning -EPERM causes bridge link show to fail
instead of skipping devices without this capability.
To avoid this, return -EOPNOTSUPP from mlx5e_bridge_getlink when
mlx5_eswitch_get_vepa fails, ensuring the command continues processing
other devices while ignoring those without the necessary capability.

When removing LAG device from bridge, NETDEV_CHANGEUPPER event is
triggered. Driver finds the lower devices (PFs) to flush all the
offloaded entries. And mlx5_lag_is_shared_fdb is checked, it returns
false if one of PF is unloaded. In such case,
mlx5_esw_bridge_lag_rep_get() and its caller return NULL, instead of
the alive PF, and the flush is skipped.
Besides, the bridge fdb entry's lastuse is updated in mlx5 bridge
event handler. But this SWITCHDEV_FDB_ADD_TO_BRIDGE event can be
ignored in this case because the upper interface for bond is deleted,
and the entry will never be aged because lastuse is never updated.
To make things worse, as the entry is alive, mlx5 bridge workqueue
keeps sending that event, which is then handled by kernel bridge
notifier. It causes the following crash when accessing the passed bond
netdev which is already destroyed.
To fix this issue, remove such checks. LAG state is already checked in
commit 15f8f168952f ("net/mlx5: Bridge, verify LAG state when adding
bond to bridge"), driver still need to skip offload if LAG becomes
invalid state after initialization.

mlx5_irq_pool_get() is a getter for completion IRQ pool only.
However, after the cited commit, mlx5_irq_pool_get() is called during
ctrl IRQ release flow to retrieve the pool, resulting in the use of an
incorrect IRQ pool.
Hence, use the newly introduced mlx5_irq_get_pool() getter to retrieve
the correct IRQ pool based on the IRQ itself. While at it, rename
mlx5_irq_pool_get() to mlx5_irq_table_get_comp_irq_pool() which
accurately reflects its purpose and improves code readability.

The bwc layer was clamping the matcher priority from 32 bits to 16 bits.
This didn't show up until a matcher was resized, since the initial
native matcher was created using the correct 32 bit value.
The fix also reorders fields to avoid some padding.

Some actions in ConnectX-8 (STEv3) have different structure,
and they are handled separately in ste_ctx_v3.
This separate handling was missing two actions: INSERT_HDR
and REMOVE_HDR, which broke SWS for Linux Bridge.
This patch resolves the issue by introducing dedicated
callbacks for the insert and remove header functions,
with version-specific implementations for each STE variant.

When running under Hyper-V, the master device to the RDMA device is always
bonded to this RDMA device. This is not user-configurable.
The master device can be unbind/bind from the kernel. During those events,
the RDMA device should set to the current netdev to reflect the change of
master device from those events.

Change mana_get_primary_netdev_rcu() to mana_get_primary_netdev(), and
return the ndev with refcount held. The caller is responsible for dropping
the refcount.
Also drop the check for IFF_SLAVE as it is not necessary if the upper
device is present.

Add COMPILE_TEST support to Mediatek v1 so I have less chance of

AMD IOMMU optionally supports up to 2K interrupts per function on newer
platforms. Support for this feature is indicated through Extended

Commit 05152a049444 ("iommu/amd: Add slab-cache for irq remapping tables")
introduces slab cache allocator. But slab cache allocator provides benefit
only when the allocation and deallocation of many identical objects is
frequent. The AMD IOMMU driver allocates Interrupt remapping table (IRT)
when device driver requests IRQ for the first time and never frees it.
Hence the slab allocator does not provide any benefit here.

Given that memset/memcpy are intrinsics, the compiler might insert calls
to these routines unexpectedly, including in code that executes after
ExitBootServices(). In this case, the respective boot services are no
longer accessible, and calling them will cause a crash.
So fall back to a bytewise copy/store if this happens to occur, even
though no such occurrences are known to exist in the kernel currently.

Now that GRF, and peripheral GRF where needed, is validated at probe
time there is no longer any need to check and log an error in each SoC
specific operation.
Remove unneeded IS_ERR() checks and early bail out from each SoC
specific operation.

All Rockchip GMAC variants typically write to GRF regs to control e.g.
interface mode, speed and MAC rx/tx delay. Newer SoCs such as RK3576 and
RK3588 use a mix of GRF and peripheral GRF regs. These syscon regmaps is
located with help of a rockchip,grf and rockchip,php-grf phandle.
However, validating the rockchip,grf and rockchip,php-grf syscon regmap
is deferred until e.g. interface mode or speed is configured, inside the
individual SoC specific operations.
Change to validate the rockchip,grf and rockchip,php-grf syscon regmap
at probe time to simplify all SoC specific operations.
This should not introduce any backward compatibility issues as all
GMAC nodes have been added together with a rockchip,grf phandle (and
rockchip,php-grf where required) in their initial commit.

With the blamed commit it seems that lan966x doesn't seem to boot
anymore when the internal CPU is used.
The reason seems to be the usage of the devm_of_iomap, if we replace
this with devm_ioremap, this seems to fix the issue as we use the same
region also for other devices.

The last_scheduled fence leaks when an entity is being killed and adding
the cleanup callback fails.
Decrement the reference count of prev when dma_fence_add_callback()
fails, ensuring proper balance.

We use a notifier to implement the mechanism of informing the user-space
about changes in GPIO line status. We register with the notifier when
the GPIO character device file is opened and unregister when the last
reference to the associated file descriptor is dropped.
Since commit fcc8b637c542 ("gpiolib: switch the line state notifier to
atomic") we use the atomic notifier variant. Atomic notifiers call
rcu_synchronize in atomic_notifier_chain_unregister() which caused a
significant performance regression in some circumstances, observed by
user-space when calling close() on the GPIO device file descriptor.
Replace the atomic notifier with the raw variant and provide
synchronization with a read-write spinlock.

During chip registration we should neither check the return value of
gc->get_direction() nor hold the SRCU lock when calling it. The former
is because pin controllers may have pins set to alternate functions and
return errors from their get_direction() callbacks. That's alright - we
should default to the safe INPUT state and not bail-out. The latter is
not needed because we haven't registered the chip yet so there's nothing
to protect against dynamic removal. In fact: we currently hit a lockdep
splat. Revert to calling the gc->get_direction() callback directly and
*not* checking its value.

Emit_flush_invalidate() is incorrectly marking the write to LRC_PPHWSP as
a GGTT write and also writing an atypical ~0 dword as the payload. Fix it.

With only XE_FW_GT taken LNCF registers read back as all zeroes, leading
to a wild goose chase trying to figure out why is register programming
incorrect.
Fix it by grabbing XE_FORCEWAKE_ALL for affected platforms.

There's a mismatch on API: while xe_rtp_process_to_sr() processes
entries until an entry without name, the active tracking with
xe_rtp_process_ctx_enable_active_tracking() needs to use the number of
elements. The number of elements is taken everywhere using ARRAY_SIZE(),
but that will have one entry too many. This leads to the following
warning, as reported by lkp:

That's because it will still process the last entry when tracking the
active tunings. The same issue exists in the WAs. Change
xe_rtp_process_to_sr() to also take the number of elements so the empty
entry can be removed and the warning should go away. Fixing on the
active-tracking side would more fragile as the it would need a `- 1`
everywhere and continue to use a different approach for number of
elements.
Aside from the warning, it's a non-issue as there would always be enough
bits allocated and the last entry would never be active since
xe_rtp_process_to_sr() stops on the sentinel.

xe_guc_pc_start() was getting called from both
xe_uc_init_hw() and from xe_guc_start().
But both are called from do_gt_restart() and only
xe_uc_init_hw() is called at initialization.
So, let's remove the duplication in the regular gt_restart
path.
The only place where xe_guc_pc_start() won't get called now
is on the gt_reset failure path. However, if gt_reset has
failed, it is really unlikely that the PC start will work
or is desired.

When a character array without a terminating NUL character has a static
initializer, GCC 15's -Wunterminated-string-initialization will only
warn if the array lacks the "nonstring" attribute[1]. Mark the arrays
with __nonstring to and correctly identify the char array as "not a C
string" and thereby eliminate the warning.

RTL8814A is a wifi 5 chip with 4 RF paths (chains), 3 spatial streams,
and probably no Bluetooth.
The USB-based RTL8814AU can reach 800 Mbps in the 5 GHz band in USB 3
mode. In USB 2 mode it only uses 2 spatial streams.
The PCI-based RTL8814AE is not as popular and didn't get as much
testing so it's unclear how fast it goes. It's more like a bonus on top
of the RTL8814AU support.
