commit 26eee0210ad7 ("net/fsl: fix a bug in xgmac_mdio") fixed a bug in
the QorIQ mdio driver but left the (now unused) incorrect bit definition
for MDIO_DATA_BSY in the code. This commit removes it.

nonstatic_find_mem_region()
In nonstatic_find_mem_region(), pcmcia_make_resource() is assigned to
res and used in pci_bus_alloc_resource(). There a dereference of res
in pci_bus_alloc_resource(), which could lead to a NULL pointer
dereference on failure of pcmcia_make_resource().
Fix this bug by adding a check of res.
This bug was found by a static analyzer. The analysis employs
differential checking to identify inconsistent security operations
(e.g., checks or kfrees) between two code paths and confirms that the
inconsistent operations are not recovered in the current function or
the callers, so they constitute bugs.
Note that, as a bug found by static analysis, it can be a false
positive or hard to trigger. Multiple researchers have cross-reviewed
the bug.
Builds with CONFIG_PCCARD_NONSTATIC=y show no new warnings,
and our static analyzer no longer warns about this code.

Use the helper macro SET_NOIRQ_SYSTEM_SLEEP_PM_OPS() instead of
the verbose operators ".suspend_noirq /.resume_noirq/.freeze_noirq/
.thaw_noirq/.poweroff_noirq/.restore_noirq", because the
SET_NOIRQ_SYSTEM_SLEEP_PM_OPS() is a nice helper macro that could
be brought in to make code a little clearer, a little more concise.

Commit 9d3239147d6d ("ARM: pxa: remove Compulab pxa2xx boards") removes
the config MACH_ARMCORE in ./arch/arm/mach-pxa/Kconfig.
Hence, ./scripts/checkkconfigsymbols.py warns on non-existing configs:

In [1], Christoph Hellwig has proposed to remove the wrappers in
include/linux/pci-dma-compat.h.
Some reasons why this API should be removed have been given by Julia
Lawall in [2].

Use dma_set_mask_and_coherent() instead of unrolling it with some
dma_set_mask()+dma_set_coherent_mask().
Moreover, as stated in [1], dma_set_mask() with a 64-bit mask will never
fail if dev->dma_mask is non-NULL.
So, if it fails, the 32 bits case will also fail for the same reason.
Simplify code and remove some dead code accordingly.
Now that qed_set_coherency_mask() is mostly a single call to
dma_set_mask_and_coherent(), fold it in its only caller.

Hytera makes a range of digital (DMR) radios. These radios can be
programmed to a allow a computer to control them over Ethernet over USB,
either using NCM or RNDIS.
This commit adds support for RNDIS for Hytera radios. I tested with a
Hytera PD785 and a Hytera MD785G. When these radios are programmed to
set up a Radio to PC Network using RNDIS, an USB interface will be added
with class 2 (Communications), subclass 2 (Abstract Modem Control) and
an interface protocol of 255 ("vendor specific" - lsusb even hints "MSFT
RNDIS?").
This patch is similar to the solution of this StackOverflow user, but
that only works for the Hytera MD785:

To use the "Radio to PC Network" functionality of Hytera DMR radios, the
radios need to be programmed correctly in CPS (Hytera's Customer
Programming Software). "Forward to PC" should be checked in "Network"
(under "General Setting" in "Conventional") and the "USB Network
Communication Protocol" should be set to RNDIS.

The role of ena_calc_max_io_queue_num() is to return the number
of queues supported by the device, which means the return value
should be >=0.
The function that calls ena_calc_max_io_queue_num(), checks
the return value. If it is 0, it means the device reported
it supports 0 IO queues. This case is considered an error
and is handled by the calling function accordingly.
However the current implementation of ena_calc_max_io_queue_num()
is wrong, since when it detects the device supports 0 IO queues,
it returns -EFAULT.
In such a case the calling function doesn't detect the error,
and therefore doesn't handle it.
This commit changes ena_calc_max_io_queue_num() to return 0
in case the device reported it supports 0 queues, allowing the
calling function to properly handle the error case.

A wrong request id received from the device is a sign that
something is wrong with it, therefore trigger a device reset.
Also add some debug info to the "Page is NULL" print to make
it easier to debug.

ena_com_tx_comp_req_id_get() checks the req_id of a received completion,
and if it is out of bounds returns -EINVAL. This is a sign that
something is wrong with the device and it needs to be reset.
The current code does not reset the device in this case, which leaves
the driver in an undefined state, where this completion is not properly
handled.
This commit adds a call to handle_invalid_req_id() in ena_clean_tx_irq()
and ena_clean_xdp_irq() which resets the device to fix the issue.
This commit also removes unnecessary request id checks from
validate_tx_req_id() and validate_xdp_req_id(). This check is unneeded
because it was already performed in ena_com_tx_comp_req_id_get(), which
is called right before these functions.

currently most cmdq APIs are unified in hclge_comm_cmd.c. Newly developed
cmdq APIs should also be placed in hclge_comm_cmd.c. So there is no need to
keep hclge_cmd.c and hclgevf_cmd.c.
This patch moves the hclge(vf)_cmd_send to hclge(vf)_main.c and deletes
the source files and makefile scripts.

This patch creates common cmdq init and uninit APIs needed by PF and VF

The PF and VF cmdq module resource allocate/free/query APIs are almost the
same espect the suffixes of API names. These same implementations bring
double development and bugfix work.
This patch creates common cmdq resource allocate/free/query APIs called by
PF and VF cmdq init/uninit APIs. The next patch will use the new unified
APIs to replace init/uninit APIs.

This patch create new set of unified hclge_comm_cmd_send APIs for PF and VF
cmdq module. Subfunctions called by hclge_comm_cmd_send are also created
include cmdq result check, cmdq return code conversion and ring space
opertaion APIs.
These new common cmdq APIs will be used to replace the old PF and VF cmdq
APIs in next patches.

Currently PF and VF cmdq APIs use struct hclge(vf)_hw to describe cmdq
hardware information needed by hclge(vf)_cmd_send. There are a little
differences between its child struct hclge_cmq_ring and hclgevf_cmq_ring.
It is redundent to use two sets of structures to support same functions.
So this patch creates new set of common cmdq hardware description
structures(hclge_comm_hw) to unify PF and VF cmdq functions. The struct
hclge_desc is still kept to avoid too many meaningless replacement.
These new structures will be used to unify hclge(vf)_hw structures in PF
and VF cmdq APIs in next patches.

Currently we plan to refactor PF and VF cmdq module. A new file folder
hns3_common will be created to store new common APIs used by PF and VF
cmdq module. Thus the PF and VF compilation process will both depends on
the hns3_common. This may cause parallel building problems if we add a new
makefile building unit.
So this patch combined the PF and VF makefile scripts to the top level
makefile to support the new hns3_common which will be created in the next
patch.

If we are the primary adapter (i.e., the one used by the firwmare
framebuffer), disable runtime pm. This fixes a regression caused
by commit 55285e21f045 which results in the displays waking up
shortly after they go to sleep due to the device coming out of
runtime suspend and sending a hotplug uevent.

Add a function for drivers to check if the a firmware initialized
fb is corresponds to their aperture. This allows drivers to check if the
device corresponds to what the firmware set up as the display device.

To pair with the workaround which always reset the ASIC in suspend.
Otherwise, the reset which relies on BACO will fail.

Wrong user data may cause warning in i2c_transfer(), ex: zero msgs.
Userspace should not be able to trigger warnings, so this patch adds
validation checks for user data in compact ioctl to prevent reported
warnings

SPI NOR core changes:
- Add Pratyush as SPI NOR co-maintainer.
- Flash parameters initialization was done in a spaghetti way. Clean
flash parameters initialization.
- Rework the flash_info flags and clarify where one should be used.
- Initialize all flash parameters based on JESD216 SFDP where possible.
Flash parameters and settings that are SFDP discoverable should not be
duplicated via flash_info flags at flash declaration.
- Remove debugfs entries that duplicate sysfs entries.
SPI NOR manufacturer drivers changes:
- Use late_init() hook in various drivers to make it clear that those
flash parameters are either not declared in the JESD216 SFDP standard,
or the SFDP tables which define those flash parameters are not defined
by the flash.
- Fix mtd size for s3an flashes.
- Write 2 bytes when disabling Octal DTR mode: 1 byte long transactions are
not allowed in 8D-8D-8D mode.
