According to the MT7921S firmware, the cmd MCU_UNI_CMD_HIF_CTRL have to
be last MCU command to execute in suspend handler and all data traffic
have to be stopped before the cmd MCU_UNI_CMD_HIF_CTRL starts as well
in order that mt7921 can successfully fall into the deep sleep mode.
Where we reuse the flag MT76_STATE_SUSPEND and avoid creating
another global flag to stop all of the traffic onto the SDIO bus.

This is a preliminary patch for the following patch
("mt76: mt7921s: fix the device cannot sleep deeply in suspend).
mt76_connac_mcu_set_hif_suspend eventually would be handled in each
bus-level suspend/resume handler in either mt7921/sdio.c or mt7921/pci.c
depending on what type of the bus the device is running on. We can move
mt76_connac_mcu_set_hif_suspend to bus-related files to simplify the logic.

MAC80211 doesn't care any decryption error in 802.3 path, so received
frame will be dropped if HW tell us that the cipher configuration is not
matched as well as the header has been translated to 802.3. This case only
appears when IEEE80211_FCTL_PROTECTED is 0 and cipher suit is not none in
the corresponding HW entry.
The received frame is only reported to monitor interface if HW decryption
block tell us there is ICV error or CCMP/BIP/WPI MIC error. Note in this
case the reported frame is decrypted 802.11 frame and the payload may be
malformed due to mismatched key.

When replugging the device the following message shows up:
gpio gpiochip2: (dln2): detected irqchip that is shared with multiple gpiochips: please fix the driver.
This also has the effect that interrupts won't work.
The same problem would also show up if multiple devices where plugged in.
Fix this by allocating the irq_chip data structure per instance like other
drivers do.
I don't know when this problem appeared, but it is present in 5.10.

The return value of kcalloc() needs to be checked.
To avoid dereference of null pointer in case of the failure of alloc.
Therefore, it might be better to change the return type of
qlcnic_sriov_alloc_vlans() and return -ENOMEM when alloc fails and
return 0 the others.
Also, qlcnic_sriov_set_guest_vlan_mode() and __qlcnic_pci_sriov_enable()

40GbE Intel Wired LAN Driver Updates 2021-12-17
Brett Creeley says:
This patch series adds support in the iavf driver for communicating and
using VIRTCHNL_VF_OFFLOAD_VLAN_V2. The current VIRTCHNL_VF_OFFLOAD_VLAN
is very limited and covers all 802.1Q VLAN offloads and filtering with
no granularity.
The new VIRTCHNL_VF_OFFLOAD_VLAN_V2 adds more granularity, flexibility,
and support for 802.1ad offloads and filtering. This includes the VF
negotiating which VLAN offloads/filtering it's allowed, where VLAN tags
should be inserted and/or stripped into and from descriptors, and the
supported VLAN protocols.

USIv2 IP-core is found on modern ARM64 Exynos SoCs (like Exynos850) and
provides selectable serial protocol (one of: UART, SPI, I2C). USIv2
registers usually reside in the same register map as a particular
underlying protocol it implements, but have some particular offset. E.g.
on Exynos850 the USI_UART has 0x13820000 base address, where UART
registers have 0x00..0x40 offsets, and USI registers have 0xc0..0xdc
offsets. Desired protocol can be chosen via SW_CONF register from System
Register block of the same domain as USI.
Before starting to use a particular protocol, USIv2 must be configured
properly:
1. Select protocol to be used via System Register
2. Clear "reset" flag in USI_CON
3. Configure HWACG behavior (e.g. for UART Rx the HWACG must be
disabled, so that the IP clock is not gated automatically); this is
done using USI_OPTION register
4. Keep both USI clocks (PCLK and IPCLK) running during USI registers
modification
This driver implements the above behavior. Of course, USIv2 driver
should be probed before UART/I2C/SPI drivers. It can be achieved by
embedding UART/I2C/SPI nodes inside of the USI node (in Device Tree);
driver then walks underlying nodes and instantiates those. Driver also
handles USI configuration on PM resume, as register contents can be lost
during CPU suspend.
This driver is designed with different USI versions in mind. So it
should be relatively easy to add new USI revisions to it later.
