2021-12-11crypto: stm32/cryp - reorder hw initializationNicolas Toromanoff
The CRYP IP checks the written key depending of the configuration, it's safer to write the whole configuration to hardware then the key to avoid unexpected key rejection. Signed-off-by: Nicolas Toromanoff <nicolas.toromanoff@foss.st.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>
2021-12-11crypto: stm32/cryp - fix bugs and crash in testsNicolas Toromanoff
Extra crypto manager auto test were crashing or failling due to 2 reasons: - block in a dead loop (dues to issues in cipher end process management) - crash due to read/write unmapped memory (this crash was also reported when using openssl afalg engine) Rework interrupt management, interrupts are masked as soon as they are no more used: if input buffer is fully consumed, "Input FIFO not full" interrupt is masked and if output buffer is full, "Output FIFO not empty" interrupt is masked. And crypto request finish when input *and* outpout buffer are fully read/write. About the crash due to unmapped memory, using scatterwalk_copychunks() that will map and copy each block fix the issue. Using this api and copying full block will also fix unaligned data access, avoid early copy of in/out buffer, and make useless the extra alignment constraint. 2021-12-11crypto: stm32/cryp - fix lrw chaining modeNicolas Toromanoff
This fixes the lrw autotest if lrw uses the CRYP as the AES block cipher provider (as ecb(aes)). At end of request, CRYP should not update the IV in case of ECB chaining mode. Indeed the ECB chaining mode never uses the IV, but the software LRW chaining mode uses the IV field as a counter and due to the (unexpected) update done by CRYP while the AES block process, the counter get a wrong value when the IV overflow. Fixes: 5f49f18d27cd ("crypto: stm32/cryp - update to return iv_out") Signed-off-by: Nicolas Toromanoff <nicolas.toromanoff@foss.st.com> Signed-off-by: Herbert Xu <herbert@gondor.apana.org.au>

2021-12-11crypto: stm32/cryp - check early input dataNicolas Toromanoff
Some auto tests failed because driver wasn't returning the expected error with some input size/iv value/tag size. Now: Return 0 early for empty buffer. (We don't need to start the engine for an empty input buffer). Accept any valid authsize for gcm(aes). Return -EINVAL if iv for ccm(aes) is invalid. Return -EINVAL if buffer size is a not a multiple of algorithm block size. 2021-12-11crypto: stm32/cryp - fix xts and race condition in crypto_engine requestsNicolas Toromanoff
Don't erase key: If key is erased before the crypto_finalize_.*_request() call, some pending process will run with a key={ 0 }. Moreover if the key is reset at end of request, it breaks xts chaining mode, as for last xts block (in case input len is not a multiple of block) a new AES request is started without calling again set_key(). 2021-12-11crypto: stm32/cryp - fix CTR counter carryNicolas Toromanoff
STM32 CRYP hardware doesn't manage CTR counter bigger than max U32, as a workaround, at each block the current IV is saved, if the saved IV lower u32 is 0xFFFFFFFF, the full IV is manually incremented, and set in hardware. 2021-12-10netdevsim: don't overwrite read only ethtool parmsFilip Pokryvka
Ethtool ring feature has _max_pending attributes read-only. Set only read-write attributes in nsim_set_ringparam. This patch is useful, if netdevsim device is set-up using NetworkManager, because NetworkManager sends 0 as MAX values, as it is pointless to retrieve them in extra call, because they should be read-only. Then, the device is left in incosistent state (value > MAX). 2021-12-10net: ocelot: add FDMA supportClément Léger
Ethernet frames can be extracted or injected autonomously to or from the device’s DDR3/DDR3L memory and/or PCIe memory space. Linked list data structures in memory are used for injecting or extracting Ethernet frames. The FDMA generates interrupts when frame extraction or injection is done and when the linked lists need updating. The FDMA is shared between all the ethernet ports of the switch and uses a linked list of descriptors (DCB) to inject and extract packets. Before adding descriptors, the FDMA channels must be stopped. It would be inefficient to do that each time a descriptor would be added so the channels are restarted only once they stopped. Both channels uses ring-like structure to feed the DCBs to the FDMA. head and tail are never touched by hardware and are completely handled by the driver. On top of that, page recycling has been added and is mostly taken from gianfar driver. 2021-12-10net/mlx4: Use irq_update_affinity_hint()Nitesh Narayan Lal
The driver uses irq_set_affinity_hint() to update the affinity_hint mask that is consumed by the userspace to distribute the interrupts. 2021-12-10scsi: lpfc: Use irq_set_affinity()Nitesh Narayan Lal
The driver uses irq_set_affinity_hint to set the affinity for the lpfc interrupts to a mask corresponding to the local NUMA node to avoid performance overhead on AMD architectures. However, irq_set_affinity_hint() setting the affinity is an undocumented side effect that this function also sets the affinity under the hood. To remove this side effect irq_set_affinity_hint() has been marked as deprecated and new interfaces have been introduced. Also, as per the commit dcaa21367938 ("scsi: lpfc: Change default IRQ model on AMD architectures"): "On AMD architecture, revert the irq allocation to the normal style (non-managed) and then use irq_set_affinity_hint() to set the cpu affinity and disable user-space rebalancing." we don't really need to set the affinity_hint as user-space rebalancing for the lpfc interrupts is not desired. 2021-12-10enic: Use irq_update_affinity_hint()Nitesh Narayan Lal
The driver uses irq_set_affinity_hint() to update the affinity_hint mask that is consumed by the userspace to distribute the interrupts. However, under the hood irq_set_affinity_hint() also applies the provided cpumask (if not NULL) as the affinity for the given interrupt which is an undocumented side effect. To remove this side effect irq_set_affinity_hint() has been marked as deprecated and new interfaces have been introduced. 2021-12-10i40e: Use irq_update_affinity_hint()Nitesh Narayan Lal
The driver uses irq_set_affinity_hint() for two purposes: - To set the affinity_hint which is consumed by the userspace for distributing the interrupts - To apply an affinity that it provides for the i40e interrupts The latter is done to ensure that all the interrupts are evenly spread across all available CPUs. However, since commit a0c9259dc4e1 ("irq/matrix: Spread interrupts on allocation") the spreading of interrupts is dynamically performed at the time of allocation. Hence, there is no need for the drivers to enforce their own affinity for the spreading of interrupts. Also, irq_set_affinity_hint() applying the provided cpumask as an affinity for the interrupt is an undocumented side effect. To remove this side effect irq_set_affinity_hint() has been marked as deprecated and new interfaces have been introduced. 2021-12-10md: fix double free of mddev->private in autorun_array()zhangyue
In driver/md/md.c, if the function autorun_array() is called, the problem of double free may occur. In function autorun_array(), when the function do_md_run() returns an error, the function do_md_stop() will be called. The function do_md_run() called function md_run(), but in function md_run(), the pointer mddev->private may be freed. The function do_md_stop() called the function __md_stop(), but in function __md_stop(), the pointer mddev->private also will be freed without judging null. At this time, the pointer mddev->private will be double free, so it needs to be judged null or not. Signed-off-by: zhangyue <zhangyue1@kylinos.cn> Signed-off-by: Song Liu <songliubraving@fb.com>

Fix this by making erratum_set_next_event_generic() __force_inline, resulting in the 'access' parameter to be resolved at compile time, similarly to what is already done for set_next_event().
