There is no vsel_reg/vsel_mask settings for PV88060_ID_SWx, so don't use pv88060_ldo_ops for PV88060_SW. The PV88060_ID_SWx is fixed voltage, set .fixed_uV instead of .min_uV then regulator core will automatically support get_voltage and list_voltage. 2019-02-18Bluetooth: hci_ldisc: Initialize hci_dev before open()Jeremy Cline
The hci_dev struct hdev is referenced in work queues and timers started by open() in some protocols. This creates a race between the initialization function and the work or timer which can result hdev being dereferenced while it is still null. The syzbot report contains a reliable reproducer which causes a null pointer dereference of hdev in hci_uart_write_work() by making the memory allocation for hdev fail. To fix this, ensure hdev is valid from before calling a protocol's open() until after calling a protocol's close(). During hci down we observed IBS sleep commands are queued in the Tx buffer and hci_uart_write_work is sending data to the chip which is not required as the chip is powered off. This patch will help to stop frame reassembly errors while changing the baudrate. This is because host send a change baudrate request command to the chip with 115200 bps, Whereas chip will change their UART clocks to the enable for new baudrate and sends the response for the change request command with newer baudrate, On host side we are still operating in 115200 bps which results of reading garbage data. Here we are pulling RTS line, so that chip we will wait to send data to host until host change its baudrate. wcn3990 requires a power pulse to turn ON/OFF along with regulators. Sometimes we are observing the power pulses are sent out with some time delay, due to queuing these commands. This is causing synchronization issues with chip, which intern delay the chip setup or may end up with communication issues. 2019-02-17mlxsw: core: Extend thermal module with per QSFP module thermal zonesVadim Pasternak
Add a dedicated thermal zone for each QSFP/SFP module. The current temperature is obtained from the module's temperature sensor and the trip points are set based on the warning and critical thresholds read from the module. A cooling device (fan) is bound to all the thermal zones. The thermal zone governor is set to user space in order to avoid collisions between thermal zones. For example, one thermal zone might want to increase the speed of the fan, whereas another one would like to decrease it. Deferring this decision to user space allows the user to the take the most suitable decision. 2019-02-17mlxsw: __mlxsw_sp_port_headroom_set(): Fix a use of local variablePetr Machata
The function-local variable "delay" enters the loop interpreted as delay in bits. However, inside the loop it gets overwritten by the result of mlxsw_sp_pg_buf_delay_get(), and thus leaves the loop as quantity in cells. Thus on second and further loop iterations, the headroom for a given priority is configured with a wrong size. Fix by introducing a loop-local variable, delay_cells. Rename thres to thres_cells for consistency.
