On systems with CONFIG_COMPAT we introduced the new requirement that
audit_classify_compat_syscall() exists. This wasn't true for everything
(apparently not for "tilegx", which I know less that nothing about.)
Instead of wrapping the preprocessor optomization with CONFIG_COMPAT we
should have used the new CONFIG_AUDIT_COMPAT_GENERIC. This patch uses
that config option to make sure only arches which intend to implement
this have the requirement.
This works fine for tilegx according to Chris Metcalf

For commands returned with failed status, queue these for resubmission
and continue retrying them until success or for a limited amount of
time. The final timeout was arbitrarily chosen so requests can't be
retried indefinitely.
Since these are requeued on the nvmeq that submitted the command, the
callbacks have to take an nvmeq instead of an nvme_dev as a parameter
so that we can use the locked queue to append the iod to retry later.
The nvme_iod conviently can be used to track how long we've been trying
to successfully complete an iod request. The nvme_iod also provides the
nvme prp dma mappings, so I had to move a few things around so we can
keep those mappings.

The device's IO queues are associated with CPUs, so we can use a per-cpu
variable to map the a qid to a cpu. This provides a convienient way
to optimally assign queues to multiple cpus when the device supports
fewer queues than the host has cpus. The previous implementation may
have assigned these poorly in these situations. This patch addresses
this by sharing queues among cpus that are "close" together and should
have a lower lock contention penalty.

Pull block layer fixes from Jens Axboe:
"A small collection of fixes that should go in before -rc1. The pull
request contains:
- A two patch fix for a regression with block enabled tagging caused
by a commit in the initial pull request. One patch is from Martin
and ensures that SCSI doesn't truncate 64-bit block flags, the
other one is from me and prevents us from double using struct
request queuelist for both completion and busy tags. This caused
anything from a boot crash for some, to crashes under load.
- A blk-mq fix for a potential soft stall when hot unplugging CPUs
with busy IO.
- percpu_counter fix is listed in here, that caused a suspend issue
with virtio-blk due to percpu counters having an inconsistent state
during CPU removal. Andrew sent this in separately a few days ago,
but it's here. JFYI.
- A few fixes for block integrity from Martin.
- A ratelimit fix for loop from Mike Galbraith, to avoid spewing too
much in error cases"

Martin bisected and found this to be the problem patch;
commit 6d113398dcf4dfcd9787a4ead738b186f7b7ff0f
Author: Jan Kara <jack@suse.cz>
Date: Mon Feb 24 16:39:54 2014 +0100
block: Stop abusing rq->csd.list in blk-softirq
and the problem was immediately apparent. The patch states that
it is safe to reuse queuelist at completion time, since it is
no longer used. However, that is not true if a device is using
block enabled tagging. If that is the case, then the queuelist
is reused to keep track of busy tags. If a device also ended
up using softirq completions, we'd reuse ->queuelist for the
IPI handling while block tagging was still using it. Boom.
Fix this by adding a new ipi_list list head, and share the
memory used with the request hash table. The hash table is
never used after the request is moved to the dispatch list,
which happens long before any potential completion of the
request. Add a new request bit for this, so we don't have
cases that check rq->hash while it could potentially have
been reused for the IPI completion.

gcc <= 4.5.x has significant limitations with respect to initialization

they appear in the structure declaration.

Similar to the fix in 40413dcb7b273bda681dca38e6ff0bbb3728ef11
MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE(x86cpu, ...) expects the struct to be called struct

delayed because I needed to wait for a dependency to be included

I had some email problems. All done now, the highlights are:
- drivers can now deprecate their use of i2c classes. That shouldn't
be used on embedded platforms anyhow and was often blindly
copy&pasted. This mechanism gives users time to switch away and
ultimately boot faster once the use of classes for those drivers is
gone for good.

- tracepoint support for I2C and SMBus
- bigger cleanups for the mv64xxx, nomadik, and designware drivers

bvec attached to a bio or bip. However, the macro fails to check bi_size
before dereferencing which can lead to crashes while counting/mapping
integrity scatterlist segments.

This driver add support for RMI4 over USB or I2C.
The current state is that it uses its own RMI4 implementation, but once
RMI4 is merged upstream, the driver will be a transport driver for the
RMI4 library.
Part of this driver should be considered as temporary. Most of the RMI4
processing and input handling will be deleted at some point.
I based my work on Andrew's regarding its port of RMI4 over HID (see
https://github.com/mightybigcar/synaptics-rmi4/tree/rmihid )
This repo presents how the driver may looks like at the end:
https://github.com/mightybigcar/synaptics-rmi4/blob/rmihid/drivers/input/rmi4/rmi_hid.c
Without this temporary solution, the workaround we gave to users
is to disable i2c-hid, which leads to disabling the touchscreen on the
XPS 11 and 12 (Haswell generation).

With single-channel drivers, we need to be able to change a running
chanctx if we want to use chanctx reservation. Not all drivers may be
able to do this, so add a flag that indicates support for it.
Changing a running chanctx can also be used as an optimization in
multi-channel drivers when the context needs to be reserved for future
usage.
Introduce IEEE80211_CHANCTX_RESERVED chanctx mode to mark a channel as
reserved so nobody else can use it (since we know it's going to
change). In the future, we may allow several vifs to use the same
reservation as long as they plan to use the chanctx on the same
future channel.

Separate the code that counts the interface types and channels from
the code that check the interface combinations. The new function that
checks for combinations is exported so it can be called by the

Allow GO operation on a channel marked with IEEE80211_CHAN_GO_CONCURRENT
iff there is an active station interface that is associated to
an AP operating on the same channel in the 2 GHz band or the same UNII band
(in the 5 GHz band). This relaxation is not allowed if the channel is
marked with IEEE80211_CHAN_RADAR.
Note that this is a permissive approach to the FCC definitions,
that require a clear assessment that the device operating the AP is
an authorized master, i.e., with radar detection and DFS capabilities.
It is assumed that such restrictions are enforced by user space.
Furthermore, it is assumed, that if the conditions that allowed for
the operation of the GO on such a channel change, i.e., the station
interface disconnected from the AP, it is the responsibility of user
space to evacuate the GO from the channel.

The FCC are clarifying some soft configuration requirements,
which among other include the following:
1. Indoor operation, where a device can use channels requiring indoor
operation, subject to that it can guarantee indoor operation,
i.e., the device is connected to AC Power or the device is under
the control of a local master that is acting as an AP and is
connected to AC Power.
2. Concurrent GO operation, where devices may instantiate a P2P GO
while they are under the guidance of an authorized master. For example,
on a channel on which a BSS is connected to an authorized master, i.e.,
with DFS and radar detection capability in the UNII band.

When dynamically creating interfaces from userspace, e.g. for P2P usage,
such interfaces are usually owned by the process that created them, i.e.
wpa_supplicant. Should wpa_supplicant crash, such interfaces will often
cease operating properly and cause problems on restarting the process.
To avoid this problem, introduce an ownership concept for interfaces. If
an interface is owned by a netlink socket, then it will be destroyed if
the netlink socket is closed for any reason, including if the process it
belongs to crashed. This gives us a race-free way to get rid of any such
interfaces.

Instead of copying the num_tracepoints and tracepoints_ptrs from
the module structure to the tp_mod structure, which only uses it to
find the module associated to tracepoints of modules that are coming
and going, simply copy the pointer to the module struct to the tracepoint
tp_module structure.
Also removed un-needed brackets around an if statement.

Register/unregister tracepoint probes with struct tracepoint pointer
rather than tracepoint name.
This change, which vastly simplifies tracepoint.c, has been proposed by
Steven Rostedt. It also removes 8.8kB (mostly of text) to the vmlinux
size.
From this point on, the tracers need to pass a struct tracepoint pointer
to probe register/unregister. A probe can now only be connected to a
tracepoint that exists. Moreover, tracers are responsible for
unregistering the probe before the module containing its associated
tracepoint is unloaded.

ASoC: Updates for v3.15
This is mostly a few additional fixes from Lars-Peter, a new driver and
cleaning up a git failure with merging the Intel branch (combined with
an xargs failure to pay attention to error codes). The history lists a
bunch of additional commits for the branch but the content of those
commits is actually present already but not recorded in history due to
git failing. Unfortunately xargs is used in the merge script and it
doesn't do a good job of noticing errors from the commands it invokes.

ASoC: Updates for v3.15
Quite a busy release for ASoC this time, more on janitorial work than
exciting new features but welcome nontheless:
- Lots of cleanups from Takashi for enumerations; the original API for
these was error prone so he's refactored lots of code to use more
modern APIs which avoid issues.
- Elimination of the ASoC level wrappers for I2C and SPI moving us
closer to converting to regmap completely and avoiding some
randconfig hassle.
- Provide both manually and transparently locked DAPM APIs rather than
a mix of the two fixing some concurrency issues.
- Start converting CODEC drivers to use separate bus interface drivers
rather than having them all in one file helping avoid dependency
issues.
- DPCM support for Intel Haswell and Bay Trail platforms.
- Lots of work on improvements for simple-card, DaVinci and the Renesas
rcar drivers.
- New drivers for Analog Devices ADAU1977, TI PCM512x and parts of the
CSR SiRF SoC.

nf_ct_gre_keymap_flush() removes a nf_ct_gre_keymap object from
net_gre->keymap_list and frees the object. But it doesn't clean
a reference on this object from ct_pptp_info->keymap[dir].
Then nf_ct_gre_keymap_destroy() may release the same object again.
So nf_ct_gre_keymap_flush() can be called only when we are sure that
when nf_ct_gre_keymap_destroy will not be called.
nf_ct_gre_keymap is created by nf_ct_gre_keymap_add() and the right way
to destroy it is to call nf_ct_gre_keymap_destroy().
This patch marks nf_ct_gre_keymap_flush() as static, so this patch can
break compilation of third party modules, which use
nf_ct_gre_keymap_flush. I'm not sure this is the right way to deprecate
this function.
