2020-03-09net: mscc: ocelot: properly account for VLAN header length when setting MRUVladimir Oltean
What the driver writes into MAC_MAXLEN_CFG does not actually represent VLAN_ETH_FRAME_LEN but instead ETH_FRAME_LEN + ETH_FCS_LEN. Yes they are numerically equal, but the difference is important, as the switch treats VLAN-tagged traffic specially and knows to increase the maximum accepted frame size automatically. So it is always wrong to account for VLAN in the MAC_MAXLEN_CFG register. Unconditionally increase the maximum allowed frame size for double-tagged traffic. Accounting for the additional length does not mean that the other VLAN membership checks aren't performed, so there's no harm done. Also, stop abusing the MTU name for configuring the MRU. There is no support for configuring the MRU on an interface at the moment. 2020-03-09bpf: sockmap: Move generic sockmap hooks from BPF TCPLorenz Bauer
The init, close and unhash handlers from TCP sockmap are generic, and can be reused by UDP sockmap. Move the helpers into the sockmap code base and expose them. This requires tcp_bpf_get_proto and tcp_bpf_clone to be conditional on BPF_STREAM_PARSER. 2020-03-09bpf: tcp: Move assertions into tcp_bpf_get_protoLorenz Bauer
We need to ensure that sk->sk_prot uses certain callbacks, so that code that directly calls e.g. tcp_sendmsg in certain corner cases works. To avoid spurious asserts, we must to do this only if sk_psock_update_proto has not yet been called. The same invariants apply for tcp_bpf_check_v6_needs_rebuild, so move the call as well. 2020-03-09mtd: spinand: rework detect procedure for different READ_ID operationChuanhong Guo
Currently there are 3 different variants of read_id implementation: 1. opcode only. Found in GD5FxGQ4xF. 2. opcode + 1 addr byte. Found in GD5GxGQ4xA/E 3. opcode + 1 dummy byte. Found in other currently supported chips. Original implementation was for variant 1 and let detect function of chips with variant 2 and 3 to ignore the first byte. This isn't robust: 1. For chips of variant 2, if SPI master doesn't keep MOSI low during read, chip will get a random id offset, and the entire id buffer will shift by that offset, causing detect failure. 2. For chips of variant 1, if it happens to get a devid that equals to manufacture id of variant 2 or 3 chips, it'll get incorrectly detected. This patch reworks detect procedure to address problems above. New logic do detection for all variants separatedly, in 1-2-3 order. Since all current detect methods do exactly the same id matching procedure, unify them into core.c and remove detect method from manufacture_ops. Tested on GD5F1GQ4UAYIG and W25N01GVZEIG. 2020-03-08remoteproc: add IPA notification to q6v5 driverAlex Elder
Set up a subdev in the q6v5 modem remoteproc driver that generates event notifications for the IPA driver to use for initialization and recovery following a modem shutdown or crash. A pair of new functions provides a way for the IPA driver to register and deregister a notification callback function that will be called whenever modem events (about to boot, running, about to shut down, etc.) occur. A void pointer value (provided by the IPA driver at registration time) and an event type are supplied to the callback function. One event, MODEM_REMOVING, is signaled whenever the q6v5 driver is about to remove the notification subdevice. It requires the IPA driver de-register its callback. This sub-device is only used by the modem subsystem (MSS) driver, so the code that adds the new subdev and allows registration and deregistration of the notifier is found in "qcom_q6v6_mss.c". Also inet_diag_msg_attrs_size() helper was added and addends in nlmsg_new() were reordered to save order from inet_sk_diag_fill(). 2020-03-08iio: industrialio-core: Fix debugfs readAlexandru Tachici
Currently iio_debugfs_read_reg calls debugfs_reg_access every time it is ran. Reading the same hardware register multiple times during the same reading of a debugfs file can cause unintended effects. For example for each: cat iio:device0/direct_reg_access the file_operations.read function will be called at least twice. First will return the full length of the string in bytes and the second will return 0. This patch makes iio_debugfs_read_reg to call debugfs_reg_access only when the user's buffer position (*ppos) is 0. (meaning it is the beginning of a new reading of the debugfs file). 2020-03-08iio: imu: adis: add support product ID check in adis_initial_startupAlexandru Ardelean
Each driver/chip that wants to validate it's product id, can now specify a 'prod_id_reg' and an expected 'prod_id' value. The 'prod_id' value is intentionally left 0 (uninitialized). There aren't (yet) any product IDs with value 0; this enforces that both 'prod_id_reg' and 'prod_id' are specified. 2020-03-08genirq: Provide interrupt injection mechanismThomas Gleixner
Error injection mechanisms need a half ways safe way to inject interrupts as invoking generic_handle_irq() or the actual device interrupt handler directly from e.g. a debugfs write is not guaranteed to be safe. On x86 generic_handle_irq() is unsafe due to the hardware trainwreck which is the base of x86 interrupt delivery and affinity management. Move the irq debugfs injection code into a separate function which can be used by error injection code as well. The implementation prevents at least that state is corrupted, but it cannot close a very tiny race window on x86 which might result in a stale and not serviced device interrupt under very unlikely circumstances. This is explicitly for debugging and testing and not for production use or abuse in random driver code. 2020-03-07net/mlx5: Introduce egress acl forward-to-vport capabilityVu Pham
Add HCA_CAP.egress_acl_forward_to_vport field to check whether HW supports e-switch vport's egress acl to forward packets to other e-switch vport or not. By default E-Switch egress ACL forwards eswitch vports egress packets to their corresponding NIC/VF vports. With this cap enabled, the driver is allowed to alter this behavior and forward packets to arbitrary NIC/VF vports with the following limitations: a. Multiple processing paths are supported if all of the following conditions are met: - HCA_CAP.egress_acl_forward_to_vport is set ==1. - A destination of type Flow Table only appears once, as the last destination in the list. - Vport destination is supported if HCA_CAP.egress_acl_forward_to_vport==1. Vport must not be the Uplink. b. Flow_tag not supported. c. This table is only applicable after an FDB table is created. d. Push VLAN action is not supported. e.
