Pull "memory: tegra: Changes for v4.16-rc1" from Thierry Reding:
The Tegra memory controller driver will now instruct the SMMU driver to
create groups, which will make it easier for device drivers to share an
IOMMU domain between multiple devices.
Initial Tegra186 support is also added in a separate driver.

Fuse and chip ID support for Tegra186 is added in this set of changes,
followed by some unification work for the PMC driver in order to avoid

Pull "tee dynamic shm for v4.16" from Jens Wiklander:
This pull request enables dynamic shared memory support in the TEE
subsystem as a whole and in OP-TEE in particular.
Global Platform TEE specification [1] allows client applications
to register part of own memory as a shared buffer between
application and TEE. This allows fast zero-copy communication between
TEE and REE. But current implementation of TEE in Linux does not support
this feature.
Also, current implementation of OP-TEE transport uses fixed size
pre-shared buffer for all communications with OP-TEE OS. This is okay
in the most use cases. But this prevents use of OP-TEE in virtualized
environments, because:
a) We can't share the same buffer between different virtual machines
b) Physically contiguous memory as seen by VM can be non-contiguous
in reality (and as seen by OP-TEE OS) due to second stage of
MMU translation.
c) Size of this pre-shared buffer is limited.
So, first part of this pull request adds generic register/unregister
interface to tee subsystem. The second part adds necessary features into
OP-TEE driver, so it can use not only static pre-shared buffer, but
whole RAM to communicate with OP-TEE OS.
This change is backwards compatible allowing older secure world or
user space to work with newer kernels and vice versa.

We need to configure the interconnect target module based on the
device three configuration.
Let's also add a new quirk for SYSC_QUIRK_RESET_STATUS to indicate
that the SYSCONFIG reset bit changes after the reset is done.

Let's configure few module quirks via device tree using the
properties for "ti,no-idle-on-init", "ti,no-reset-on-init"
and "ti,sysc-delay-us".
Let's also reorder the probe a bit so we have pdata available
earlier, and move the PM runtime calls to sysc_init_module()
from sysc_read_revision().

We can easily detect i2c based on it's non-standard module registers that
consist of two 32-bit registers accessed in 16-bit mode.
So far we don't have other 16-bit modules, so there's currently no need
to add a custom property for 16-bit register access.

Let's add data for the known interconnect target module types by mapping
their register bits.
Note that we can handle many quirks for the older omap2 type1 modules
directly in the driver without a need for adding custom properties.

We want to be able to configure hwmod sysc data from ti-sysc driver using
platform data callbacks. So let's make struct omap_hwmod_sysc_fields into
struct sysc_data and have it available for both ti-sysc driver and hwmod
code.
Note that we can make it use s8 instead of u8 as the hwmod code uses the
feature flags to check for this field. However, for ti-sysc we can use
-ENODEV to indicate a feature is not supported in the hardware and can
simplify the code that way.
And let's add also emufree_shift as the dts files will be describing the
hardware for the SYSCONFIG register capbilities mask.

Pull "Enable async communication with tee supplicant" from Jens Wiklander:
This pull request enables asynchronous communication with TEE supplicant
by introducing meta parameters in the user space API. The meta
parameters can be used to tag requests with an id that can be matched
against an asynchronous response as is done here in the OP-TEE driver.
Asynchronous supplicant communication is needed by OP-TEE to implement
GlobalPlatforms TEE Sockets API Specification v1.0.1. The specification
is available at https://www.globalplatform.org/specificationsdevice.asp.
This change is backwards compatible allowing older supplicants to work
with newer kernels and vice versa.

MT2712 add "set/clear" bus control register to each control register set
instead of providing only one "enable" control register, we could avoid
the read-modify-write racing by declaring "bus_prot_reg_update" as "false"
in scp_soc_data or declaring as "true" to use the legacy update method.
By improving the mtk-infracfg bus protection implementation to
support set/clear bus protection control method by IC configuration.

nft_ct exposes this bit to userspace. This used to be
#define NF_CT_STATE_UNTRACKED_BIT (1 << (IP_CT_NUMBER + 1))
(IP_CT_NUMBER is 5, so this was 0x40)
.. but this got changed to 8 (0x100) when the untracked object got removed.
Replace this with a literal 6 to prevent further incompatible changes
in case IP_CT_NUMBER ever increases.

The current XFRM code assumes that we've implemented the
xdo_dev_state_free() callback, even if it is meaningless to the driver.
This patch adds a check for it before calling, as done in other APIs,
to prevent a NULL function pointer kernel crash.

Currently a dump of an xlated prog (post verifier stage) doesn't
correlate used helpers as well as maps. The prog info lists
involved map ids, however there's no correlation of where in the
program they are used as of today. Likewise, bpftool does not
correlate helper calls with the target functions.
The latter can be done w/o any kernel changes through kallsyms,
and also has the advantage that this works with inlined helpers
and BPF calls.

Being called during early_initcall() is early enough that it occurs
before SMP initialization, which is all we care about for the Bus
Interface Unit configuration.
This solves lack of BIU initialization on ARM64 platforms where we do
not have an anchor where to put the BIU initialization (since there are
no machine descriptors).

There were various issues related to the limited size of integers used in
the verifier:
- `off + size` overflow in __check_map_access()
- `off + reg->off` overflow in check_mem_access()
- `off + reg->var_off.value` overflow or 32-bit truncation of
`reg->var_off.value` in check_mem_access()
- 32-bit truncation in check_stack_boundary()
Make sure that any integer math cannot overflow by not allowing
pointer math with large values.
Also reduce the scope of "scalar op scalar" tracking.

Drivers that needs to communicate with a remote QMI service all has to
perform the operations of discovering the service, encoding and decoding
the messages and operate the socket. This introduces an abstraction for
these common operations, reducing most of the duplication in such cases.

Add the helper library for encoding and decoding QMI encoded messages.
The implementation is taken from lib/qmi_encdec.c of the Qualcomm kernel
(msm-3.18).
Modifications has been made to the public API, source buffers has been
made const and the debug-logging part was omitted, for now.

qcom_scm.h makes heavy use of <linux/types.h> and <linux/cpumask.h>.

A previous change blindly added massive alignment to the
call_single_data structure in struct request. This ballooned it in size
from 296 to 320 bytes on my setup, for no valid reason at all.
Use the unaligned struct __call_single_data variant instead.

sk_state_store
sk_state_load is only used by AF_INET/AF_INET6, so rename it to
inet_sk_state_load and move it into inet_sock.h.
sk_state_store is removed as it is not used any more.

tracepoint
As sk_state is a common field for struct sock, so the state
transition tracepoint should not be a TCP specific feature.
Currently it traces all AF_INET state transition, so I rename this
tracepoint to inet_sock_set_state tracepoint with some minor changes and move it
into trace/events/sock.h.
We dont need to create a file named trace/events/inet_sock.h for this one single
tracepoint.
Two helpers are introduced to trace sk_state transition
- void inet_sk_state_store(struct sock *sk, int newstate);
- void inet_sk_set_state(struct sock *sk, int state);
As trace header should not be included in other header files,
so they are defined in sock.c.
The protocol such as SCTP maybe compiled as a ko, hence export
inet_sk_set_state().

The TCP trace events (specifically tcp_set_state), maps emums to symbol
names via __print_symbolic(). But this only works for reading trace events
from the tracefs trace files. If perf or trace-cmd were to record these
events, the event format file does not convert the enum names into numbers,
and you get something like:

Where trace-cmd and perf do not know the values of those enums.
Use the TRACE_DEFINE_ENUM() macros that will have the trace events convert
the enum strings into their values at system boot. This will allow perf and
trace-cmd to see actual numbers and not enums:

Commit f5775e0b6116 ("x86/xen: discard RAM regions above the maximum
reservation") left host memory not assigned to dom0 as available for
memory hotplug.
Unfortunately this also meant that those regions could be used by
others. Specifically, commit fa564ad96366 ("x86/PCI: Enable a 64bit BAR
on AMD Family 15h (Models 00-1f, 30-3f, 60-7f)") may try to map those
addresses as MMIO.
To prevent this mark unallocated host memory as E820_TYPE_UNUSABLE (thus
effectively reverting f5775e0b6116) and keep track of that region as
a hostmem resource that can be used for the hotplug.

If a bio is throttled and split after throttling, the bio could be
resubmited and enters the throttling again. This will cause part of the
bio to be charged multiple times. If the cgroup has an IO limit, the
double charge will significantly harm the performance. The bio split
becomes quite common after arbitrary bio size change.
To fix this, we always set the BIO_THROTTLED flag if a bio is throttled.
If the bio is cloned/split, we copy the flag to new bio too to avoid a
double charge. However, cloned bio could be directed to a new disk,
keeping the flag be a problem. The observation is we always set new disk
for the bio in this case, so we can clear the flag in bio_set_dev().
This issue exists for a long time, arbitrary bio size change just makes
it worse, so this should go into stable at least since v4.2.

cls_bpf used to take care of tracking what offload state a filter
is in, i.e. it would track if offload request succeeded or not.
This information would then be used to issue correct requests to
the driver, e.g. requests for statistics only on offloaded filters,
removing only filters which were offloaded, using add instead of
replace if previous filter was not added etc.
This tracking of offload state no longer functions with the new
callback infrastructure. There could be multiple entities trying
to offload the same filter.
Throw out all the tracking and corresponding commands and simply
pass to the drivers both old and new bpf program. Drivers will
have to deal with offload state tracking by themselves.

By default VFIO disables mapping of MSIX BAR to the userspace as
the userspace may program it in a way allowing spurious interrupts;
instead the userspace uses the VFIO_DEVICE_SET_IRQS ioctl.
In order to eliminate guessing from the userspace about what is
mmapable, VFIO also advertises a sparse list of regions allowed to mmap.
This works fine as long as the system page size equals to the MSIX
alignment requirement which is 4KB. However with a bigger page size
the existing code prohibits mapping non-MSIX parts of a page with MSIX
structures so these parts have to be emulated via slow reads/writes on
a VFIO device fd. If these emulated bits are accessed often, this has
serious impact on performance.
This allows mmap of the entire BAR containing MSIX vector table.
This removes the sparse capability for PCI devices as it becomes useless.
As the userspace needs to know for sure whether mmapping of the MSIX
vector containing data can succeed, this adds a new capability -
VFIO_REGION_INFO_CAP_MSIX_MAPPABLE - which explicitly tells the userspace
that the entire BAR can be mmapped.
This does not touch the MSIX mangling in the BAR read/write handlers as
we are doing this just to enable direct access to non MSIX registers.

The vfio_info_add_capability() helper requires the caller to pass a
capability ID, which it then uses to fill in header fields, assuming
hard coded versions. This makes for an awkward and rigid interface.
The only thing we want this helper to do is allocate sufficient
space in the caps buffer and chain this capability into the list.
Reduce it to that simple task.

If dm_table_determine_type() establishes DM_TYPE_NVME_BIO_BASED then
all devices in the DM table do not support partial completions. Also,
the table has a single immutable target that doesn't require DM core to
split bios.
This will enable adding NVMe optimizations to bio-based DM.

ALSA SoC has some duplicate parameter.
snd_soc_component::dai_drv is one of them.
Each DAI is keeping its driver as snd_soc_dai::driver,
and component has dai_list.
This means, we can reach to each DAI and its driver by using dai_link.
Thus, there is no need to keep DAI driver pointer on component.
Let's remove it

Add helper for initializing fbdev deferred I/O.
The cleanup could have happened in drm_fb_helper_fini(), but that would
have required me to set fb_info->fbdefio to NULL in a couple of drivers
before they call _fini() to avoid double defio cleanup. The problem is
that one of those is vboxvideo which lives in Greg's staging tree.
So I put the cleanup in drm_fb_helper_fbdev_teardown(), not perfect
but not that bad either.
