For consistency reason add a COMPAT_SYSCALL_DEFINE0 macro.
This macro should be used for compat system calls with zero parameters.

For architecture dependent compat syscalls in common code an architecture
must define something like __ARCH_WANT_<WHATEVER> if it wants to use the
code.
This however is not true for compat_sys_getdents64 for which architectures
must define __ARCH_OMIT_COMPAT_SYS_GETDENTS64 if they do not want the code.
This leads to the situation where all architectures, except mips, get the
compat code but only x86_64, arm64 and the generic syscall architectures
actually use it.
So invert the logic, so that architectures actively must do something to
get the compat code.
This way a couple of architectures get rid of otherwise dead code.

If a module fails to add its tracepoints due to module tainting, do not
create the module event infrastructure in the debugfs directory. As the events
will not work and worse yet, they will silently fail, making the user wonder
why the events they enable do not display anything.
Having a warning on module load and the events not visible to the users
will make the cause of the problem much clearer.

Add the following snmp stats:
TCPFastOpenActiveFail: Fast Open attempts (SYN/data) failed beacuse
the remote does not accept it or the attempts timed out.
TCPSynRetrans: number of SYN and SYN/ACK retransmits to break down
retransmissions into SYN, fast-retransmits, timeout retransmits, etc.
TCPOrigDataSent: number of outgoing packets with original data (excluding
retransmission but including data-in-SYN). This counter is different from
TcpOutSegs because TcpOutSegs also tracks pure ACKs. TCPOrigDataSent is
more useful to track the TCP retransmission rate.
Change TCPFastOpenActive to track only successful Fast Opens to be symmetric to
TCPFastOpenPassive.

There is a single framework fix that prevents dereferencing a NULL
pointer when calling clk_get. The range of fixes for clock driver
regressions spans memory leak fixes, touching the wrong registers that
cause things to explode, misconfigured clock rates that result in
non-responsive devices and even some boot failures. The most benign
fix is DT binding doc typo. It is a stable ABI exposed from the
kernel that was introduced in -rc1, so best to fix it now"

If an architecture has futex_atomic_cmpxchg_inatomic() implemented and there
is no runtime check necessary, allow to skip the test within futex_init().
This allows to get rid of some code which would always give the same result,
and also allows the compiler to optimize a couple of if statements away.

When BlueFlame is turned on, control segment of the TX WQE is changed,
and the second line of it is used for QPN.
Changed code to use a union in the mlx4_wqe_ctrl_seg instead of casting.
This makes the code clearer and solves the static checker warning:

This patch provides two new runtime PM helper functions which intend to
be used from system suspend/resume callbacks, to make sure devices are
put into low power state during system suspend and brought back to full
power at system resume.
The prerequisite is to have all levels of a device's runtime PM
callbacks to be defined through the SET_PM_RUNTIME_PM_OPS macro, which
means these are available for CONFIG_PM.
By using the new runtime PM helper functions especially the two
scenarios below will be addressed.
1) The PM core prevents .runtime_suspend callbacks from being invoked
during system suspend. That means even for a runtime PM centric
subsystem and driver, the device needs to be put into low power state
from a system suspend callback. Otherwise it may very well be left in
full power state (runtime resumed) while the system is suspended. By
using the new helper functions, we make sure to walk the hierarchy of
a device's power domain, subsystem and driver.
2) Subsystems and drivers need to cope with all the combinations of
CONFIG_PM_SLEEP and CONFIG_PM_RUNTIME. The two new helper functions
smothly addresses this.

In perverse cases of file descriptor passing the current network
namespace of a process and the network namespace of a socket used by
that socket may differ. Therefore use the network namespace of the
appropiate socket to ensure replies always go to the appropiate
socket.

MUXs and virtual MUXs are almost identical, the only difference is that for
virtual MUX there is no hardware backing register in which setting is stored.
This patch adds code, which is similar to what we already do for DAPM mixer
controls to support virtual mixer controls, to DAPM enum controls. The new code
will check if the enum does a hardware backing register and skip over reading
and writing to the register if it has not. This allows us to use the same code
path for both MUXs and virtual MUXs and a lot of nearly identical code can be
removed.

With the upcoming consolidation of normal MUXs and virtual MUXs we need to be
able to distinguish between enums with and without a backing register at the
enum level. Use the same approach as used for virtual mixer controls by setting
the reg field of the enum to SND_SOC_NOPM for enums without a backing register.
This patch adds a set of helper macros that can be used to define such enums.

MUXs and value MUXs are almost identical, the only difference is that a value
MUX uses a look-up table to map from the selected control item to a register
value, while MUXs use a direct mapping. This patch uses
snd_soc_enum_item_to_val() and snd_soc_enum_val_to_item(), which where earlier
introduced during the consolidation of enum and value enum controls, to hide
this difference. This allows us to use the same code path for both MUXs and
value MUXs and a lot of nearly duplicated code can be removed.

The implementations for enum and value enum controls are almost identical. The
only difference is that the value enum uses an additional look-up table to map
the control value to the register value, while the enum control uses a direct
mapping. Enums and value enums can easily be distinguished at runtime, for value
enums the values field of the snd_soc_enum struct contains the look-up table,
while for enums it is NULL. This patch adds two new small helper functions
called snd_soc_enum_item_to_val() and snd_soc_enum_val_to_item() which map
between register value and control item. If the items field of the snd_soc_enum
struct is NULL the function will do a direct mapping otherwise they'll use the
look-up table to do the mapping. Using these small helper functions it is
possible to use the same kcontrol handlers for both enums and value enums. The
functions are added a inline functions in soc.h so they can also be used by the
DAPM code to accomplish similar consolidation.

The user-settable knob, low_latency, has been the source of
several BUG reports which stem from flush_to_ldisc() running
in interrupt context. Since 3.12, which added several sleeping
locks (termios_rwsem and buf->lock) to the input processing path,
the frequency of these BUG reports has increased.
Note that changes in 3.12 did not introduce this regression;
sleeping locks were first added to the input processing path
with the removal of the BKL from N_TTY in commit
a88a69c91256418c5907c2f1f8a0ec0a36f9e6cc,
'n_tty: Fix loss of echoed characters and remove bkl from n_tty'
and later in commit 38db89799bdf11625a831c5af33938dcb11908b6,
'tty: throttling race fix'. Since those changes, executing
flush_to_ldisc() in interrupt_context (ie, low_latency set), is unsafe.
However, since most devices do not validate if the low_latency
setting is appropriate for the context (process or interrupt) in
which they receive data, some reports are due to misconfiguration.
Further, serial dma devices for which dma fails, resort to
interrupt receiving as a backup without resetting low_latency.
Historically, low_latency was used to force wake-up the reading
process rather than wait for the next scheduler tick. The
effect was to trim multiple milliseconds of latency from
when the process would receive new data.
Recent tests [1] have shown that the reading process now receives
data with only 10's of microseconds latency without low_latency set.
Remove the low_latency rx steering from tty_flip_buffer_push();
however, leave the knob as an optional hint to drivers that can
tune their rx fifos and such like. Cleanup stale code comments
regarding low_latency.

The bcm63xx_uart driver uses RSET_UART_SIZE which is a constant defined
for MIPS-based BCM63xx platforms, pull this constant value from the
MIPS-specific header and put it in include/linux/serial_bcm63xx.h to
make the driver platform agnostic.

The MCB (MEN Chameleon Bus) is a Bus specific to MEN Mikroelektronik
FPGA based devices. It is used to identify MCB based IP-Cores within
an FPGA and provide the necessary framework for instantiating drivers
for these devices.

This patch drops the current way of 6lowpan fragmentation on receiving
side and replace it with a implementation which use the inet_frag api.
The old fragmentation handling has some race conditions and isn't
rfc4944 compatible. Also adding support to match fragments on
destination address, source address, tag value and datagram_size
which is missing in the current implementation.

Function ieee80211_{dsss_chan_to_freq, freq_to_dsss_chan} have been
replaced with ieee80211_{channel_to_frequency, frequency_to_channel}.
There should be no users of the two functions now. So remove them.

The stop_scan_complete function was used as an intermediate step before
doing the actual connection creation. Since we're using hci_request
there's no reason to have this extra function around, i.e. we can simply
put both HCI commands into the same request.
The single task that the intermediate function had, i.e. indicating
discovery as stopped is now taken care of by a new
HCI_LE_SCAN_INTERRUPTED flag which allows us to do the discovery state
update when the stop scan command completes.

LE connection attempts do not have a controller side timeout in the same
way as BR/EDR has (in form of the page timeout). Since we always do
scanning before initiating connections the attempts are always expected
to succeed in some reasonable time.
This patch adds a timer which forces a cancellation of the connection
attempt within 20 seconds if it has not been successful by then. This
way we e.g. ensure that mgmt_pair_device times out eventually and gives
an error response.

For SMP we need the local and remote addresses (and their types) that
were used to establish the connection. These may be different from the
Identity Addresses or even the current RPA. To guarantee that we have
this information available and it is correct track these values
separately from the very beginning of the connection.
For outgoing connections we set the values as soon as we get a
successful command status for HCI_LE_Create_Connection (for which the
patch adds a command status handler function) and for incoming
connections as soon as we get a LE Connection Complete HCI event.

The random numbers in Bluetooth Low Energy are 64-bit numbers and should
also be little endian since the HCI specification is little endian.
Change the whole Low Energy pairing to use __le64 instead of a byte
array.

If some of the cleanup commands caused by mgmt_set_powered(off) never
complete we should still force the adapter to be powered down. This is
rather easy to do since hdev->power_off is already a delayed work
struct. This patch schedules this delayed work if at least one HCI
command was sent by the cleanup procedure.

The current LE white list entries require storing in the HCI controller
structure. So provide a storage and access functions for it. In addition
export the current list via debugfs.
