This patch adds support to read/write SLIMbus value elements.
Currently it only supports byte read/write. Adding this support in
regmap would give codec drivers more flexibility when there are more
than 2 control interfaces like SLIMbus, i2c.
Without this patch each codec driver has to directly call SLIMbus value
element apis, and this could would get messy once we want to add i2c
interface to it.

SLIMbus devices use value-element, and information elements to
control device parameters (e.g. value element is used to represent
gain for codec, information element is used to represent interrupt
status for codec when codec interrupt fires).
Messaging APIs are used to set/get these value and information
elements. SLIMbus specification uses 8-bit "transaction IDs" for
messages where a read-value is anticipated. Framework uses a table
of pointers to store those TIDs and responds back to the caller in
O(1).
Caller can do synchronous and asynchronous reads/writes.

SLIMbus (Serial Low Power Interchip Media Bus) is a specification
developed by MIPI (Mobile Industry Processor Interface) alliance.
SLIMbus is a 2-wire implementation, which is used to communicate with
peripheral components like audio-codec.
SLIMbus uses Time-Division-Multiplexing to accommodate multiple data
channels, and control channel. Control channel has messages to do
device-enumeration, messages to send/receive control-data to/from
SLIMbus devices, messages for port/channel management, and messages to
do bandwidth allocation.
The framework supports multiple instances of the bus (1 controller per
bus), and multiple slave devices per controller.
This patch adds support to basic silmbus core which includes support to
SLIMbus type, slimbus device registeration and some basic data structures.

SIOX is a bus system invented at Eckelmann AG to control their building
management and refrigeration systems. Traditionally the bus was
implemented on custom microcontrollers, today Linux based machines are
in use, too.
The topology on a SIOX bus looks as follows:

There are two control lines (DCLK and DLD) driven from the bus master to
all devices in parallel and two daisy chained data lines, one for input
and one for output. DCLK is the clock to shift both chains by a single
bit. On an edge of DLD the devices latch both their input and output
shift registers.
This patch adds a framework for this bus type.

By crafting special packets, it is possible to cause recursion
in our kernel when processing transport-mode packets at levels
that are only limited by packet size.
The easiest one is with DNAT, but an even worse one is where
UDP encapsulation is used in which case you just have to insert
an UDP encapsulation header in between each level of recursion.
This patch avoids this problem by reinjecting tranport-mode packets
through a tasklet.

Add a new event type that is newly exposed by recent firmware. The event
will never occur if the firmware is too old. If user space tries to use
this event in an older kernel, it will just get an EINVAL which is
perfectly acceptable in the existing user space code.

Several of the interfaces defined in include/linux/pci-aspm.h are used only
internally from the PCI core:
pcie_aspm_init_link_state()
pcie_aspm_exit_link_state()
pcie_aspm_pm_state_change()
pcie_aspm_powersave_config_link()
pcie_aspm_create_sysfs_dev_files()
pcie_aspm_remove_sysfs_dev_files()
Move these to the internal drivers/pci/pci.h header so they don't clutter
the driver interface.

Enable Latency Tolerance Reporting (LTR). Note that LTR must be enabled in
the Root Port first, and must not be enabled in any downstream device
unless the Root Port and all intermediate Switches also support LTR.

The culprit is the following statement in dev_cgroup.c:

This code is typical as the ctx->access_type is assigned
as below in kernel/bpf/cgroup.c:

The compiler converts it to u16 access while
the verifier cgroup_dev_is_valid_access rejects
any non u32 access.

Currently ib_init_ah_from_wc initializes address handle attributes and
not the address handle object itself.
To avoid confusion between ah_attr vs ah, ib_init_ah_from_wc is
renamed to ib_init_ah_attr_from_wc to reflect that its initialzes
ah_attr.

Currently there are no users of ib_find_gid for RoCE transport. It is
only used by IPoIB.
Therefore its simplified to ignore RoCE ports and GID type check which
was previously done for every port.

Commit caa4b02476e3(blk-map: call blk_queue_bounce from blk_rq_append_bio)
moves blk_queue_bounce() into blk_rq_append_bio(), but don't consider
the fact that the bounced bio becomes invisible to caller since the
parameter type is 'struct bio *'. Make it a pointer to a pointer to
a bio, so the caller sees the right bio also after a bounce.

Commit a8821f3f3("block: Improvements to bounce-buffer handling") tries
to make sure that the bio to .make_request_fn won't exceed BIO_MAX_PAGES,
but ignores that passthrough I/O can use blk_queue_bounce() too.
Especially, passthrough IO may not be sector-aligned, and the check
of 'sectors < bio_sectors(*bio_orig)' inside __blk_queue_bounce() may
become true even though the max bvec number doesn't exceed BIO_MAX_PAGES,
then cause the bio splitted, and the original passthrough bio is submited
to generic_make_request().
This patch fixes this issue by checking if the bio is passthrough IO,
and use bio_kmalloc() to allocate the cloned passthrough bio.

When computing a UD reverse path (return AH) from a WC the code was not
doing a route lookup anchored in a specific netdevice. This caused several
bugs, including broken IPv6 link-local address support in RoCEv2. [1]
This fixes the lookup by determining the GID table entry that the HW
matched to the SGID for the WC and then using the netdevice from that
entry to perform the route and ND lookup for the 'DGID' to build a return
AH.
RoCE GID table management ensures that right upper netdevices of the
physical netdevices are added. Therefore init_ah_from_wc doesn't need to
perform such check.
Now that route lookup is done based on the netdevice of the GID entry,
simplify code to not have ifindex and vlan pointers. As part of that,
refactor to have netdevice as input parameter. This is already discussed
at [2].
Finally ib_init_ah_from_wc resolves dmac for unicast GID in similar way as
what ib_resolve_eth_dmac() does. So ib_resolve_eth_dmac is refactored to
split for unicast and non unicast GIDs, so that it can be reused by
ib_init_ah_from_wc.
While we are at refactoring ib_resolve_eth_dmac(), it is further
simplified
(a) to avoid hoplimit as optional parameter, as there is only one
user who always queries hoplimit.
(b) for empty line.
(c) avoided zero initialization of ret.
(d) removed as exported symbol as only ib core uses it.
For IPv6, this is tested using simple rping test as below.

If the subdev is not yet present (probably because the subdev
module has not yet been loaded), the pipe will be NULL. Make sure

When we split VB2 into an independent streaming module and
a V4L2 one, some vb2-core functions started to have a wrong
description: they're meant to be used only by the API-specific
parts of VB2, like vb2-v4l2, as the functions that V4L2 drivers
should use are all under videobuf2-v4l2.h.
Correct their descriptions.

As kernel-doc doesn't support documenting #define values,
and using enum makes easier to identify where the values
are used, convert V4L2_MBUS_FRAME_DESC_FL_* to enum, and
use BIT() macro.
While here, fix the description at v4l2_mbus_frame_desc_entry,
in order to match what's described for
V4L2_MBUS_FRAME_DESC_FL_LEN_MAX.

The color structs right now are just "color" and "color16".
That may lead into conflicts, and don't define precisely what
they meant. As those are used by two drivers (vivid and vimc),
this is even on a somewhat public header!
So rename them to:
color -> tpg_rbg_color8
color16 -> tpg_rbg_color16

The v4l2-tpg*.h headers are meant to be used only internally by
vivid and vimc. There's no sense keeping them together with the
V4L2 kAPI headers. Also, one header includes the other as they're
meant to be used together. So, merge them.

In the past, the same I2C address were used on multiple places.
After I2C rebinding changes, this is no longer needed. So, we
can just get rid of this header, placing the I2C address where
they belong, e. g. either at bttv driver or at tvtuner.

Using enums makes easier to document, as it can use kernel-doc
markups. It also allows cross-referencing, with increases the
kAPI readability.
Please notice that now cx88_querycap() has to have a default for
the VFL type, as there are more types than supported by the driver.

1) Allow arbitrary function calls from one BPF function to another BPF function.
As of today when writing BPF programs, __always_inline had to be used in
the BPF C programs for all functions, unnecessarily causing LLVM to inflate
code size. Handle this more naturally with support for BPF to BPF calls
such that this __always_inline restriction can be overcome. As a result,
it allows for better optimized code and finally enables to introduce core
BPF libraries in the future that can be reused out of different projects.
x86 and arm64 JIT support was added as well, from Alexei.
2) Add infrastructure for tagging functions as error injectable and allow for
BPF to return arbitrary error values when BPF is attached via kprobes on
those. This way of injecting errors generically eases testing and debugging
without having to recompile or restart the kernel. Tags for opting-in for
this facility are added with BPF_ALLOW_ERROR_INJECTION(), from Josef.
3) For BPF offload via nfp JIT, add support for bpf_xdp_adjust_head() helper
call for XDP programs. First part of this work adds handling of BPF
capabilities included in the firmware, and the later patches add support
to the nfp verifier part and JIT as well as some small optimizations,
from Jakub.
4) The bpftool now also gets support for basic cgroup BPF operations such
as attaching, detaching and listing current BPF programs. As a requirement
for the attach part, bpftool can now also load object files through
'bpftool prog load'. This reuses libbpf which we have in the kernel tree
as well. bpftool-cgroup man page is added along with it, from Roman.
5) Back then commit e87c6bc3852b ("bpf: permit multiple bpf attachments for
a single perf event") added support for attaching multiple BPF programs
to a single perf event. Given they are configured through perf's ioctl()
interface, the interface has been extended with a PERF_EVENT_IOC_QUERY_BPF
command in this work in order to return an array of one or multiple BPF
prog ids that are currently attached, from Yonghong.
6) Various minor fixes and cleanups to the bpftool's Makefile as well
as a new 'uninstall' and 'doc-uninstall' target for removing bpftool
itself or prior installed documentation related to it, from Quentin.
7) Add CONFIG_CGROUP_BPF=y to the BPF kernel selftest config file which is
required for the test_dev_cgroup test case to run, from Naresh.
8) Fix reporting of XDP prog_flags for nfp driver, from Jakub.
9) Fix libbpf's exit code from the Makefile when libelf was not found in
the system, also from Jakub.

Both v4l2-event.rst and v4l2-event.h have an overview of
events, but there are some inconsistencies there:
- at v4l2-event, the event's ring buffer is called kevent. Its
name is, instead, v4l2_kevent;
- Some things are mentioned on both places (with different words),
others are either on one of the files.
In order to cleanup this mess, put everything at v4l2-event.rst
and improve it to be a little more coherent and to have cross
references.
