2023-01-28dt-bindings: iio: cleanup examples - indentationKrzysztof Kozlowski

2022-11-23dt-bindings: iio: gyroscope: use spi-peripheral-props.yamlKrzysztof Kozlowski
For devices connectable by SPI bus (e.g. already using "spi-max-frequency" property), reference the "spi-peripheral-props.yaml" schema to allow using all SPI device properties, even these which device bindings author did not tried yet. 2022-08-21dt-bindings: iio: gyroscope: bosch,bmg160: correct number of pinsKrzysztof Kozlowski
BMG160 has two interrupt pins to which interrupts can be freely mapped. Correct the schema to express such case and fix warnings like: qcom/msm8916-alcatel-idol347.dtb: gyroscope@68: interrupts: [[97, 1], [98, 1]] is too long However the basic issue still persists - the interrupts should come in a defined order. 2021-12-06dt-bindings: Use correct vendor prefix for Asahi Kasei Corp.Thierry Reding
The old "ak" vendor prefix that was never officially accepted was still being used in some examples. Convert to the correct vendor prefix (i.e. "asahi-kasei"). 2021-03-23dt-bindings: Clean-up undocumented compatible stringsRob Herring
Adding checks for undocumented compatible strings reveals a bunch of warnings in the DT binding examples. Fix the cases which are typos, just a mismatch between the schema and the example, or aren't documented at all. In a couple of cases, fixing the compatible revealed some schema errors which are fixed. There's a bunch of others remaining after this which have bindings, but those aren't converted to schema yet. 2021-01-09dt-bindings:iio:gyro:invensense,mpu3050: txt to yaml format conversion.Jonathan Cameron
Very similar to the mpu6050 binding. Only unusual element is the i2c-gate section. Example tweaked a little to include a real device behind the gate. As Rob Herring suggested, dropped use of explicit i2c-gate yaml binding in favour of just using the i2c-controller.yaml binding directly. 2020-04-19iio/gyro/bmg160: Add support for BMI088 chipMike Looijmans
The BMI088 is pin-compatible with the BMI055, and provides both gyro and accel functions. The gyro part is similar to the BMI055 and this adds the chip to the list of supported devices for the gyro part. The accel part of the chip is not compatible with anything existing already. 2018-07-25dt-bindings: remove 'interrupt-parent' from bindingsRob Herring
'interrupt-parent' is often documented as part of define bindings, but it is really outside the scope of a device binding. It's never required in a given node as it is often inherited from a parent node. Or it can be implicit if a parent node is an 'interrupt-controller' node. So remove it from all the binding files.
