2024-10-05dt-bindings: iio: imu: mpu6050: Add iam20680ht/hp bindings to mpu6050Jean-Baptiste Maneyrol
IAM-20680HT & HP are 2 variants of IAM-20680 that are backwards compatible. They just have better specs, temperature range and a bigger FIFO. 2024-04-13dt-bindings: iio: imu: mpu6050: Improve i2c-gate disallow listLuca Weiss
Before all supported sensors except for MPU{9150,9250,9255} were not allowed to use i2c-gate in the bindings which excluded quite a few supported sensors where this functionality is supported. Switch the list of sensors to ones where the Linux driver explicitly disallows support for the auxiliary bus ("inv_mpu_i2c_aux_bus"). Since the driver is also based on "default: return true" this should scale better into the future. 2023-10-05dt-bindings: iio: imu: mpu6050: Add level shifterAndreas Kemnade

2023-05-13dt-bindings: iio: imu: mpu6050: Add icm20600 bindings to mpu6050Hermes Zhang
ICM-20600 is almost same as ICM-20602 which already support in mpu6050 driver. Specify "invensense,icm20602" as a fallback compatible Signed-off-by: Hermes Zhang <chenhuiz@axis.com> Reviewed-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzysztof.kozlowski@linaro.org> Acked-by: Jean-Baptiste Maneyrol <jean-baptiste.maneyrol@tdk.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20230505054853.2155326-2-chenhuiz@axis.com Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <Jonathan.Cameron@huawei.com>
2022-08-19dt-bindings: iio: imu: use spi-peripheral-props.yamlKrzysztof Kozlowski
Instead of listing directly properties typical for SPI peripherals, reference the spi-peripheral-props.yaml schema. This allows using all properties typical for SPI-connected devices, even these which device bindings author did not tried yet. Remove the spi-* properties which now come via spi-peripheral-props.yaml schema, except for the cases when device schema adds some constraints like maximum frequency. While changing additionalProperties->unevaluatedProperties, put it in typical place, just before example DTS. 2022-04-04dt-bindings: iio: imu: mpu6050: Document invensense,icm20608dMichael Srba
ICM-20608-D differs from the other ICM-20608 variants by having a DMP (Digital Motion Processor) core tacked on. Despite having a different WHOAMI register, this variant is completely interchangeable with the other ICM-20608 variants by simply pretending the DMP core doesn't exist. 2021-12-06dt-bindings: Use correct vendor prefix for Asahi Kasei Corp.Thierry Reding
The old "ak" vendor prefix that was never officially accepted was still being used in some examples. Convert to the correct vendor prefix (i.e. "asahi-kasei"). MPU-6880 seems to be very similar to MPU-6500 / MPU-6050 and it works fine with some minor additions for the mpu6050 driver. Add a compatible for it to the binding documentation. 2021-01-09dt-bindings:iio:imu:invensense,mpu6050: txt to yaml conversionJonathan Cameron
As Rob Herring suggested, this no long requires the explicit i2c-gate binding, but instead just used i2c-controller.yaml directly. 2 prior examples combinded into one as a single example can show all of the binding elements as long as the right part is selected.
