The current comment on wakeup-source is a little confusing because the word deprecated can be interpreted at first glance to mean that wakeup-source is deprecated. Also mentioning the obsolete property confuses more than it helps. Therefore, the comment should be removed completely because the enable-sdio-wakeup property is not used in any current DTs. 2022-12-07dt-bindings: mmc: mtk-sd: Set clocks based on compatibleNícolas F. R. A. Prado
The binding was describing a single clock list for all platforms, but that's not really suitable: Most platforms using at least 2 clocks (source, hclk), some of them a third "source_cg". Mt2712 requires an extra 'bus_clk' on some of its controllers, while mt8192 requires 8 clocks. Move the clock definitions inside if blocks that match on the compatibles. I used Patch from Nícolas F. The entries in arrays must have fixed order, so the bindings and Linux driver expecting various combinations of 'reg' addresses was never actually conforming to guidelines. The 'core' reg entry is valid only for SDCC v4 and lower, so disallow it in SDCC v5. SDCC v4 supports CQE and ICE, so allow them, even though the qcom,sdhci-msm-v4 compatible is used also for earlier SoCs with SDCC v2 or v3, so it is not entirely accurate.
