2022-12-16dt-bindings: drop redundant part of title of shared bindingsKrzysztof Kozlowski
The Devicetree bindings document does not have to say in the title that it is a "binding", but instead just describe the hardware. For shared (re-usable) schemas, name them all as "common properties". 2022-05-01dt-bindings: net: phy: Add 10-baseT1L 2.4 VppAlexandru Tachici
Add a tristate property to advertise desired transmit level. If the device supports the 2.4 Vpp operating mode for 10BASE-T1L, as defined in 802.3gc, and the 2.4 Vpp transmit voltage operation is desired, property should be set to 1. This property is used to select whether Auto-Negotiation advertises a request to operate the 10BASE-T1L PHY in increased transmit level mode. If property is set to 1, the PHY shall advertise a request to operate the 10BASE-T1L PHY in increased transmit level mode. If property is set to zero, the PHY shall not advertise a request to operate the 10BASE-T1L PHY in increased transmit level mode. 2021-12-06dt-bindings: net: Reintroduce PHY no lane swap bindingAlexander Stein
This binding was already documented in phy.txt, commit 252ae5330daa ("Documentation: devicetree: Add PHY no lane swap binding"), but got accidently removed during YAML conversion in commit d8704342c109 ("dt-bindings: net: Add a YAML schemas for the generic PHY options"). Note: 'enet-phy-lane-no-swap' and the absence of 'enet-phy-lane-swap' are not identical, as the former one disable this feature, while the latter one doesn't change anything. 2020-12-18dt-bindings: Fix JSON pointersRob Herring
The correct syntax for JSON pointers begins with a '/' after the '#'. Without a '/', the string should be interpreted as a subschema identifier. The jsonschema module currently doesn't handle subschema identifiers and incorrectly allows JSON pointers to begin without a '/'. Let's fix this before it becomes a problem when jsonschema module is fixed. 2020-06-25dt-bindings: net: Add tx and rx internal delaysDan Murphy
tx-internal-delays and rx-internal-delays are a common setting for RGMII capable devices. These properties are used when the phy-mode or phy-controller is set to rgmii-id, rgmii-rxid or rgmii-txid. These modes indicate to the controller that the PHY will add the internal delay for the connection. Signed-off-by: Dan Murphy <dmurphy@ti.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
