2018-06-15devicetree: fix some bindings file namesMauro Carvalho Chehab
There were some file movements that changed the location for some DT bindings. Fix them with: scripts/documentation-file-ref-check --fix After manually checking if the new file makes sense. Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab+samsung@kernel.org> Acked-by: Jonathan Corbet <corbet@lwn.net>

2017-12-08Add support for bq27521 battery monitorPavel Machek
This adds basic support for BQ27521 battery monitor, used in Nokia N9 and N950. In particular, battery voltage is important to be able to tell when the battery is almost empty. Emptying battery on N950 is pretty painful, as flasher needs to be used to recover phone in such case. Signed-off-by: Pavel Machek <pavel@ucw.cz> Acked-by: Andrew F. 2017-05-01dt-bindings: power: supply: add AXP20X/AXP22X battery DT bindingQuentin Schulz
The X-Powers AXP20X and AXP22X PMICs can have a battery as power supply. This patch adds the DT binding documentation for the battery power supply which gets various data from the PMIC, such as the battery status (charging, discharging, full, dead), current max limit, current current, battery capacity (in percentage), voltage max and min limits, current voltage and battery capacity (in Ah). 2017-04-14power: supply: ltc2941-battery-gauge: Add vendor to compatibles in bindingJavier Martinez Canillas
The DT binding document for LTC2941 and LTC2943 battery gauges did not use a vendor prefix in the listed compatible strings. The driver says that the manufacturer is Linear Technology which is "lltc" in vendor-prefixes.txt. There isn't an upstream Device Tree source file that has nodes defined for these devices, so there's no need to keep the old compatible strings. 2017-04-14power: supply: cpcap-charger: Add minimal CPCAP PMIC battery chargerTony Lindgren
The custom CPCAP PMIC used on Motorola phones such as Droid 4 has a USB battery charger. It can optionally also have a companion chip that is used for wireless charging. The charger on CPCAP also can feed VBUS for the USB host mode. This can be handled by the existing kernel phy_companion interface. 2017-01-29dt-bindings: power: supply: add AXP20X/AXP22X AC power supplyQuentin Schulz
The X-Powers AXP20X and AXP22X PMICs have an AC entry to supply power to the board. They have a few registers dedicated to the status of the AC power supply. This adds the DT binding documentation for the AC power supply for AXP20X and AXP22X PMICs. 2017-01-16dt-bindings: power: supply: Add otg regulator bindingBird, Tim
Add a binding for the regulator which controls the OTG chargepath switch. The OTG switch gets its power from pm8941_5vs1, and that should be expressed as a usb_otg_in-supply property in the DT node for the charger driver. The regulator name is "otg-vbus". 2017-01-04dt-bindings: power: supply: bq24735: reverse the polarity of ac-detectPeter Rosin
The ACOK pin on the bq24735 is active-high, of course meaning that when AC is OK the pin is high. However, all Tegra dts files have incorrectly specified active-high even though the signal is inverted on the Tegra boards. This has worked since the Linux driver has also inverted the meaning of the GPIO. Fix this situation by simply specifying in the bindings what everybody else agrees on; that the ti,ac-detect-gpios is active on AC adapter absence.
