2024-08-14dt-bindings: serial: 8250_omap: Add wakeup-source propertyMarkus Schneider-Pargmann
Add the wakeup-source to enable this device as a wakeup source if defined in DT. Signed-off-by: Markus Schneider-Pargmann <msp@baylibre.com> Acked-by: Conor Dooley <conor.dooley@microchip.com> Reviewed-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@baylibre.com> Tested-by: Kevin Hilman <khilman@baylibre.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20240807141227.1093006-2-msp@baylibre.com Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2023-06-01dt-bindings: serial: 8250_omap: add rs485-rts-active-highFrancesco Dolcini
Add rs485-rts-active-high property, this was removed by mistake. In general we just use rs485-rts-active-low property, however the OMAP UART for legacy reason uses the -high one. Fixes: 767d3467eb60 ("dt-bindings: serial: 8250_omap: drop rs485 properties") Closes: https://lore.kernel.org/all/ZGefR4mTHHo1iQ7H@francesco-nb.int.toradex.com/ Signed-off-by: Francesco Dolcini <francesco.dolcini@toradex.com> Reviewed-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzysztof.kozlowski@linaro.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20230531111038.6302-1-francesco@dolcini.it Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2023-02-01dt-bindings: serial: example cleanupKrzysztof Kozlowski
Adjust example DTS indentation to match recommended style of 4-spaces and use lower-case hex for address in reg. No functional change. 2023-02-01dt-bindings: serial: 8250_omap: drop rs485 propertiesKrzysztof Kozlowski
The binding references rs485 schema, so there is no need to list its properties. Simplify a bit by removing unneeded entries. 2022-12-16dt-bindings: drop redundant part of title (beginning)Krzysztof Kozlowski
The Devicetree bindings document does not have to say in the title that it is a "Devicetree binding", but instead just describe the hardware. 2021-10-10dt-bindings: serial: 8250_omap: allow serdev subnodesAndreas Kemnade
additionalProperties: false ignores the pattern matching for serdev objects in serial.yaml, causing error messages when serdev subnodes like bluetooth or gnss devices are defined. Using unevaluatedProperties instead is the correct way if arbitrary children nodes can appear. 'enum' is equivalent to 'oneOf' with a list of 'const' entries, but 'enum' is more concise and yields better error messages.
