2019-09-03dt-binding: usb: add usb-role-switch propertyChunfeng Yun
Add a property usb-role-switch to tell the driver that use USB Role Switch framework to handle the role switch, it's useful when the driver has already supported other ways, such as extcon framework etc. Cc: Biju Das <biju.das@bp.renesas.com> Cc: Yu Chen <chenyu56@huawei.com> Signed-off-by: Chunfeng Yun <chunfeng.yun@mediatek.com> Reviewed-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Reviewed-by: Heikki Krogerus <heikki.krogerus@linux.intel.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/1567070558-29417-2-git-send-email-chunfeng.yun@mediatek.com Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2017-03-17usb: of: add functions to bind a companion controllerYoshihiro Shimoda
EHCI controllers will have a companion controller. However, on platform bus, there was difficult to bind them in previous code. So, this patch adds helper functions to bind them using a "companion" property. 2016-08-25usb: dwc3: make usb2 phy utmi interface configurableWilliam Wu
Support to configure the UTMI+ PHY with an 8- or 16-bit interface via DT. The UTMI+ PHY interface is a hardware capability, and it's platform dependent. Normally, the PHYIF can be configured during coreconsultant. But for some specific USB cores(e.g. rk3399 SoC DWC3), the default PHYIF configuration value is false, so we need to reconfigure it by software. Add otg version, srp, hnp and adp support for usb OTG port, then those OTG features don't have to be decided by usb gadget drivers. Signed-off-by: Li Jun <jun.li@freescale.com> Reviewed-by: Roger Quadros <rogerq@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com>
2013-07-29usb: common: introduce of_usb_get_maximum_speed()Felipe Balbi
this helper will be used for controllers which want to work at a lower speed even though they support higher USB transfer rates. One such case is Texas Instruments' AM437x SoC where it uses a USB3 controller without a USB3 PHY, rendering the controller USB2-only. Signed-off-by: Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com>
