Pull ARM SoC device tree changes from Arnd Bergmann:
"A large part of the arm-soc patches are nowadays DT changes, adding
support for new SoCs, boards and devices without changing kernel
source. The plan is still to move the devicetree files out of the
kernel tree and reduce the amount of churn going on here, but we keep
finding reasons to delay doing that.
Changes are really all over the place, with little sticking out
particularly. We have contributions from a total of 116 people in
this branch.
Unfortunately, the size of this branch also causes a significant
number of conflicts at the moment, typically when subsystem
maintainers merge patches that change the driver at the same time as
the dts files. In most cases this could be avoided because the dts
changes are supposed to be compatible in both ways, and we are asking
everyone to send ARM dts changes through our tree only"

Looking at the current vendor strings used in the kernel's .dts/.dtsi
files, some vendors are used a high number of times without
being documented. Document the ones that are used more than 10 times.
Note: a few inconsistencies were found, and thus not documented.
Here is the list:
- mrvl: duplicates "marvell"
- st-ericsson: duplicates "ste" _and_ "stericsson"
- pci8086: seems to be a unfortunate alias for "intel"
- pnpPNP: used on PowerPC?

Pull ARM driver updates from Olof Johansson:
"Updates of SoC-near drivers and other driver updates that makes more
sense to take through our tree.
The largest part of this is a conversion of device registration for
some renesas shmobile/sh devices over to use resources. This has
required coordination with the corresponding arch/sh changes, and
we've agreed to merge the arch/sh changes through our tree.
Added in this branch is support for Trusted Foundations secure
firmware, which is what is used on many of the commercial Nvidia Tegra
products that are in the market, including the Nvidia Shield. The
code is local to arch/arm at this time since it's uncertain whether it
will be shared with arm64 longer-term, if needed we will refactor
later.
A couple of new RTC drivers used on ARM boards, merged through our
tree on request by the RTC maintainer.

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/jic23/iio into staging-next
Jonathan writes:
First set of new features, drivers and cleanups for IIO in the 3.14 cycle.
This mostly consists of patches that didn't quite make the last cycle. Lots
of interesting things under review currently.
Core:
- Add devm_iio_device_register/unregister. I took some convincing on whether
there would be many devices that really were simple enough to need no
explicit actions on removal. Turns out there are some.
- Move some stray docs to above the relevant implemenation.
- Drop a redundant repeated check on the fact the trigger has actually changed
when there is a userspace attempt change it.
Drivers:
New drivers
- Freescale MPL3115A2 Pressure / temperature sensor
New functionality
- hid_sensors: add sensitivity support.
DT bindings
- tsl2563
- hmc5843
Cleanups
- Drop unused scan_type from viperboard adc driver.
- devm_iio_device_register used in viperboard, ad5421, ad5755, adis16130,
adxrs450, vcnl4000, adis16220, ad7816, lpc32xx, adt7316, adis16060, isl29018
and ad2s1200. Note that this was proposed in a number of other drivers
and this revealed a number of missorderings in remove functions. Also for
now I have blocked this on any device that any hardware suspend suport on
the basis that we probably want to power down devices if they have no driver
support loaded.

Pull devicetree updates from Rob Herring:
"DeviceTree updates for 3.13. This is a bit larger pull request than
usual for this cycle with lots of clean-up.
- Cross arch clean-up and consolidation of early DT scanning code.
- Clean-up and removal of arch prom.h headers. Makes arch specific
prom.h optional on all but Sparc.
- Addition of interrupts-extended property for devices connected to
multiple interrupt controllers.
- Refactoring of DT interrupt parsing code in preparation for
deferred probe of interrupts.
- ARM cpu and cpu topology bindings documentation.
- Various DT vendor binding documentation updates"

Pull GPIO updates from Linus Walleij:
"This is the bulk of GPIO changes for the v3.12 series:
- A new driver for the TZ1090 PDC which is used on the metag
architecture.
- A new driver for the Kontron ETX or COMexpress GPIO block. This is
found on some ETX x86 devices.
- A new driver for the Fintek Super-I/O chips, used on some x86
boards.
- Added device tree probing on a few select GPIO blocks.
- Drop the Exynos support from the Samsung GPIO driver.
The Samsung maintainers have moved over to use the modernized pin
control driver to provide GPIO for the modern platforms instead.
- The usual bunch of non-critical fixes and cleanups"
