2022-11-19dt-bindings: watchdog: mediatek: Convert mtk-wdt to json-schemaAngeloGioacchino Del Regno
Convert the MediaTek watchdog bindings to schema. The original binding only had 4 without a fallback but there is a reset controller on the "mediatek,mt7986-wdt", "mediatek,mt8186-wdt", "mediatek,mt8188-wdt" and "mediatek,mt8195-wdt" Since there is no reset controller for the mt6589, we remove "mediatek,mt6589-wdt" as a fallback. 2019-05-05watchdog: i6300esb: stop printing kernel addressesMatteo Croce
Since commit ad67b74d2469d9b8 ("printk: hash addresses printed with %p"), i6300esb prints "____ptrval____" instead of actual addresses: i6300ESB timer 0000:00:03.0: initialized (0x(____ptrval____)). heartbeat=30 sec (nowayout=1) Instead of changing the print to "%px", and leaking kernel addresses, just remove the print completely, cfr. e.g. commit 071929dbdd865f77 ("arm64: Stop printing the virtual memory layout"). watchdog_init_timeout() will allways pick timeout_param since it defaults to a valid timeout. By following best practice described in Documentation/watchdog/watchdog-kernel-api.txt, it also let us to set timout-sec property in devicetree.
