The if condition for the SM8[45]50 GPU SMMU is too large,
add the other compatible strings to the condition to only
allow the clocks for the GPU SMMU nodes.

The EDID firmware loading mechanism introduced a few built-in EDIDs that
could be forced on any connector, bypassing the EDIDs it exposes.
While convenient, this limited set of EDIDs doesn't take into account
the connector type, and we can end up with an EDID that is completely
invalid for a given connector.
For example, the edid/800x600.bin file matches the following EDID:

So, an analog monitor EDID. However, if the connector was an HDMI
monitor for example, it breaks the HDMI specification that requires,
among other things, a digital display, the VIC 1 mode and an HDMI Forum
Vendor Specific Data Block in an CTA-861 extension.
We thus end up with a completely invalid EDID, which thus might confuse
HDMI-related code that could parse it.
After some discussions on IRC, we identified mainly two ways to fix
this:
- We can either create more EDIDs for each connector type to provide
a built-in EDID that matches the resolution passed in the name, and
still be a sensible EDID for that connector type;
- Or we can just prevent the EDID to be exposed to userspace if it's
built-in.
Or possibly both.
However, the conclusion was that maybe we just don't need the built-in
EDIDs at all and we should just get rid of them. So here we are.

Akira Yokosawa reported [1] that the "translations" extension we added in
commit 7418ec5b151f ("docs: translations: add translations links when they
exist") broke the build on Sphinx versions v6.1.3 through 7.1.2 (possibly
others) with the following error:

Solve this problem by making 'current_language' a true element attribute
of the LanguagesNode element, which is probably the more correct way to do
it anyway.
Tested on Sphinx 2.x, 3.x, 6.x, and 7.x.

The RZ/G2L LCD controller is composed of Frame Compression Processor
(FCPVD), Video Signal Processor (VSPD), and Display Unit (DU).
The DU module supports the following hardware features
− Display Parallel Interface (DPI) and MIPI LINK Video Interface
− Display timing master
− Generates video timings
− Selecting the polarity of output DCLK, HSYNC, VSYNC, and DE
− Supports Progressive
− Input data format (from VSPD): RGB888, RGB666
− Output data format: same as Input data format
− Supporting Full HD (1920 pixels x 1080 lines) for MIPI-DSI Output
− Supporting WXGA (1280 pixels x 800 lines) for Parallel Output
This patch documents the DU module found on RZ/G2L LCDC.

The addition of the XFS online fsck documentation starting with
commit a8f6c2e54ddc ("xfs: document the motivation for online fsck design")
added a deeper level of nesting than LaTeX is prepared to deal with. That
caused a pdfdocs build failure with the helpful "Too deeply nested" error
message buried deeply in Documentation/output/filesystems.log.
Increase the "maxlistdepth" parameter to instruct LaTeX that it needs to
deal with the deeper nesting whether it wants to or not.

The VERW mitigation at exit-to-user is enabled via a static branch
mds_user_clear. This static branch is never toggled after boot, and can
be safely replaced with an ALTERNATIVE() which is convenient to use in
asm.
Switch to ALTERNATIVE() to use the VERW mitigation late in exit-to-user
path. Also remove the now redundant VERW in exc_nmi() and
arch_exit_to_user_mode().

TI keystone display subsystem present in AM65, AM62 and AM62A SoC support
two separate register spaces namely "common" and "common1" which can be
used by two separate hosts to program the display controller as described
in respective Technical Reference Manuals [1].
The common1 register space has similar set of configuration registers as
supported in common register space except the global configuration
registers which are exclusive to common region.
This adds binding for "common1" register region too as supported by the
hardware.

Add the MIDR value of Microsoft Azure Cobalt 100, which is a Microsoft
implemented CPU based on r0p0 of the ARM Neoverse N2 CPU, and therefore

Creating sysfs files for all Cells caused a boot failure for linux-6.8-rc1 on

As far as I can tell, this is a problem for any device with multiple cells on
different bits of the same address. Avoid the issue by changing the file name
to include the first bit number.

The hdmi-connector nodes are now functional and the new way to model
hdmi ports nodes with both in and output port subnodes. Unfortunately
with the conversion to YAML the old method with only an input port node
was used. Later the new method was also added to the binding.
A binding must be unambiguously, so remove the old port property
entirely and make port@0 and port@1 a requirement as all
upstream dts files are updated as well and because checking
deprecated stuff is a bit pointless.
Update the example to avoid use of the removed property.

The 'phandle-array' type is a bit ambiguous. It can be either just an
array of phandles or an array of phandles plus args. "samsung,sysreg" is
the latter and needs to be constrained to a single entry with a phandle and
offset.

is pointing to the wrong path for the interface. Documentation is

dev->lstats is notably used from loopback ndo_start_xmit()
and other virtual drivers.
Per cpu stats updates are dirtying per-cpu data,
but the pointer itself is read-only.
