2023-06-21ARM: dts: Move .dts files to vendor sub-directoriesRob Herring
The arm dts directory has grown to 1559 boards which makes it a bit unwieldy to maintain and use. Past attempts stalled out due to plans to move .dts files out of the kernel tree. Doing that is no longer planned (any time soon at least), so let's go ahead and group .dts files by vendors. This move aligns arm with arm64 .dts file structure. There's no change to dtbs_install as the flat structure is maintained on install. The naming of vendor directories is roughly in this order of preference: - Matching original and current SoC vendor prefix/name (e.g. ti, qcom) - Current vendor prefix/name if still actively sold (SoCs which have been aquired) (e.g. nxp/imx) - Existing platform name for older platforms not sold/maintained by any company (e.g. gemini, nspire) The whole move was scripted with the exception of MAINTAINERS and a few makefile fixups. 2022-10-26ARM: dts: axp803/axp81x: Drop GPIO LDO pinctrl nodesSamuel Holland
The "ldo-io0" and "ldo-io1" regulators are enabled/disabled by toggling the pinmux between two functions. This happens in the regulator driver. Setting the pinmux to "ldo" in the DT is inappropriate because it would enable the regulator before the driver has a chance to set the correct initial voltage. 2021-09-13ARM: dts: sunxi: Rename gpio pinctrl namesMaxime Ripard
We've had a pinctrl node name convention for a while now, let's follow it for the AXP pinctrl nodes as well. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime@cerno.tech> Acked-by: Jernej Skrabec <jernej.skrabec@gmail.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20210901091852.479202-41-maxime@cerno.tech
2021-09-13ARM: dts: sunxi: Rename power-supply namesMaxime Ripard
The name of our PMIC power supply names conflict with the generic regulator supply check that matches anything called *-supply, including the nodes, and then makes sure it's a phandle. A node is obviously not a phandle, so let's change our power supplies names to avoid any conflict. 2018-02-21ARM: dtsi: axp81x: add battery power supply subnodeQuentin Schulz
The X-Powers AXP81X PMIC exposes battery supply various data such as the battery status (charging, discharging, full, dead), current max limit, current current, battery capacity (in percentage), voltage max and min limits, current voltage, and battery capacity (in Ah). This adds the battery power supply subnode for AXP81X PMIC. 2017-11-02ARM: dts: sunxi: Add dtsi for AXP81x PMICChen-Yu Tsai
The AXP81x family of PMIC is used with the Allwinner A83T and H8 SoCs. This includes the AXP813 and AXP818. There is no discernible difference except the labeling. The AXP813 is paired with the A83T, while the AXP818 is paired with the H8. This patch adds a dtsi file for all the common bindings for these two PMICs. Currently this is just listing all the regulator nodes. The regulators are initialized based on their device node names. In the future this would be expanded to include power supplies and GPIO controllers. Signed-off-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org> Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@free-electrons.com>
