2023-06-21ARM: dts: Move .dts files to vendor sub-directoriesRob Herring
The arm dts directory has grown to 1559 boards which makes it a bit unwieldy to maintain and use. Past attempts stalled out due to plans to move .dts files out of the kernel tree. Doing that is no longer planned (any time soon at least), so let's go ahead and group .dts files by vendors. This move aligns arm with arm64 .dts file structure. There's no change to dtbs_install as the flat structure is maintained on install. The naming of vendor directories is roughly in this order of preference: - Matching original and current SoC vendor prefix/name (e.g. ti, qcom) - Current vendor prefix/name if still actively sold (SoCs which have been aquired) (e.g. nxp/imx) - Existing platform name for older platforms not sold/maintained by any company (e.g. gemini, nspire) The whole move was scripted with the exception of MAINTAINERS and a few makefile fixups. 2021-06-11ARM: dts: dra7x-evm: Drop "ti,pcf8575"Geert Uytterhoeven
The TI part is equivalent to the NXP part and its compatible value is not documented in the DT bindings. 2021-05-21ARM: dts: dra76-evm: remove ov5640Tomi Valkeinen
DRA76 EVM boards are not shipped with OV5640 sensor module, it is a separate purchase. OV5640 module is also just one of the possible sensors or capture boards you can connect. However, for some reason, OV5640 has been added to the board dts file, making it cumbersome to use other sensors. Remove the OV5640 from the dts file so that it is easy to use other sensors via DT overlays. 2020-09-10ARM: dts: dra7x-evm: switch to new cpsw switch drvGrygorii Strashko
Switch all TI DRA7x boards to use new cpsw switch driver. Those boards configured in dual_mac mode by default. 2020-09-10ARM: dts: dra7xx: replace status value "ok" by "okay"Adrian Schmutzler

2020-07-13Replace HTTP links with HTTPS ones: OMAP DEVICE TREE SUPPORTAlexander A. Klimov
Rationale: Reduces attack surface on kernel devs opening the links for MITM as HTTPS traffic is much harder to manipulate. Deterministic algorithm: For each file: If not .svg: For each line: If doesn't contain `\bxmlns\b`: For each link, `\bhttp://[^# \t\r\n]*(?:\w|/)`: If neither `\bgnu\.org/license`, nor `\bmozilla\.org/MPL\b`: If both the HTTP and HTTPS versions return 200 OK and serve the same content: Replace HTTP with HTTPS. 2020-05-05ARM: dts: dra76-evm: Add CMA pools and enable IPU & DSP rprocsSuman Anna
The CMA reserved memory nodes have been added for all the IPU and the DSP remoteproc devices on the DRA76 EVM board, and assigned to the respective rproc device nodes. These match the configuration used on the DRA7 EVM board. Both the CMA nodes and the corresponding rproc nodes are also enabled to enable these processors on the DRA76 EVM board.
