2023-06-21ARM: dts: Move .dts files to vendor sub-directoriesRob Herring
The arm dts directory has grown to 1559 boards which makes it a bit unwieldy to maintain and use. Past attempts stalled out due to plans to move .dts files out of the kernel tree. Doing that is no longer planned (any time soon at least), so let's go ahead and group .dts files by vendors. This move aligns arm with arm64 .dts file structure. There's no change to dtbs_install as the flat structure is maintained on install. The naming of vendor directories is roughly in this order of preference: - Matching original and current SoC vendor prefix/name (e.g. ti, qcom) - Current vendor prefix/name if still actively sold (SoCs which have been aquired) (e.g. nxp/imx) - Existing platform name for older platforms not sold/maintained by any company (e.g. gemini, nspire) The whole move was scripted with the exception of MAINTAINERS and a few makefile fixups. 2022-06-22ARM: dts: exynos: add function and color to LED node in Odroid XU4Krzysztof Kozlowski
Add common LED properties - the function and color - to LED node in Exynos5422 Odroid XU4, so we can drop deprecated label property. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzysztof.kozlowski@linaro.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20220620175716.132143-8-krzysztof.kozlowski@linaro.org
2021-05-11ARM: dts: exynos: fix PWM LED max brightness on Odroid XU4Krzysztof Kozlowski
There is no "max_brightness" property as pointed out by dtschema: arch/arm/boot/dts/exynos5422-odroidxu4.dt.yaml: led-controller: led-1: 'max-brightness' is a required property Fixes: 6658356014cb ("ARM: dts: Add support Odroid XU4 board for exynos5422-odroidxu4") Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzysztof.kozlowski@canonical.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20210505135941.59898-5-krzysztof.kozlowski@canonical.com
2020-10-26ARM: dts: exynos: Fix schema warnings for pwm-ledsAlexander Dahl
The node names for devices using the pwm-leds driver follow a certain naming scheme (now). Parent node name is not enforced, but recommended by DT project. arch/arm/boot/dts/exynos5410-odroidxu.dt.yaml: pwmleds: 'blueled', 'greenled' do not match any of the regexes: '^led(-[0-9a-f]+)?$', 'pinctrl-[0-9]+' arch/arm/boot/dts/exynos5422-odroidhc1.dt.yaml: pwmleds: 'blueled' does not match any of the regexes: '^led(-[0-9a-f]+)?$', 'pinctrl-[0-9]+' From schema: Documentation/devicetree/bindings/leds/leds-pwm.yaml Signed-off-by: Alexander Dahl <post@lespocky.de> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20201005203451.9985-8-post@lespocky.de Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2020-09-11ARM: dts: exynos: move assigned-clock* properties to i2s0 node in Odroid XU4Krzysztof Kozlowski
The purpose of those assigned-clock-* properties is to configure clock for the I2S device so move them to respective node. This silences the dtschema warnings like: 'clocks' is a dependency of 'assigned-clocks' Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20200906142146.21266-3-krzk@kernel.org
2019-02-18ARM: dts: exynos: Add support for secondary DAI to Odroid XU4Sylwester Nawrocki
This patch extends DAPM routing and adds secondary CPU DAI entry to support the secondary audio PCM interface on Odroid XU4. Signed-off-by: Sylwester Nawrocki <s.nawrocki@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2018-12-13ARM: dts: exynos: Specify I2S assigned clocks in proper nodeSylwester Nawrocki
The assigned parent clocks should be normally specified in the consumer device's DT node, this ensures respective driver always sees correct clock settings when required. This patch fixes regression in audio subsystem on Odroid XU3/XU4 boards that appeared after commits: commit 647d04f8e07a ("ASoC: samsung: i2s: Ensure the RCLK rate is properly determined") commit 995e73e55f46 ("ASoC: samsung: i2s: Fix rclk_srcrate handling") commit 48279c53fd1d ("ASoC: samsung: i2s: Prevent external abort on exynos5433 I2S1 access") Without this patch the driver gets wrong clock as the I2S function clock (op_clk) in probe() and effectively the clock which is finally assigned from DT is not being enabled/disabled in the runtime resume/suspend ops. Without the above listed commits the EXYNOS_I2S_BUS clock was always set as parent of CLK_I2S_RCLK_SRC regardless of DT settings so there was no issue with not enabled EXYNOS_SCLK_I2S. 2017-11-27ARM: dts: exynos: Add sound support for Odroid XU4Sylwester Nawrocki
This patch adds support for Odroid XU4 audio. The main difference comparing to Odroid XU3 is a missing on-board audio CODEC, only HDMI output is supported on Odroid XU4. External CODEC could be optionally connected to the I2S port connector. Signed-off-by: Sylwester Nawrocki <s.nawrocki@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2015-09-17ARM: dts: Add support Odroid XU4 board for exynos5422-odroidxu4Krzysztof Kozlowski
Add Hardkernel Odroid XU4 board Device Tree sources. The board differs from Odroid XU3 and XU3-Lite by: 1. No green and red LEDs (except standard red power LED). 2. Only two PWM outputs are used (fan and blue LED) 3. No audio codec. 4. Two USB3 ports in host mode (no micro USB3 connector for OTG). 5. Realtek RTL8153-CG gigabit network adapter (instead of SMSC9514). 6. Additional connector with IO ports (I2S_0, I2C_5). 7. No DisplayPort (like XU3-Lite). 8. No TI INA231 power measurement sensors (like XU3-Lite).
