2023-06-21ARM: dts: Move .dts files to vendor sub-directoriesRob Herring
The arm dts directory has grown to 1559 boards which makes it a bit unwieldy to maintain and use. Past attempts stalled out due to plans to move .dts files out of the kernel tree. Doing that is no longer planned (any time soon at least), so let's go ahead and group .dts files by vendors. This move aligns arm with arm64 .dts file structure. There's no change to dtbs_install as the flat structure is maintained on install. The naming of vendor directories is roughly in this order of preference: - Matching original and current SoC vendor prefix/name (e.g. ti, qcom) - Current vendor prefix/name if still actively sold (SoCs which have been aquired) (e.g. nxp/imx) - Existing platform name for older platforms not sold/maintained by any company (e.g. gemini, nspire) The whole move was scripted with the exception of MAINTAINERS and a few makefile fixups. 2022-08-22ARM: dts: imx6qdl-dhcom: Move IPU iomux node from PDK2 to SoM fileChristoph Niedermaier
The SoM itself provides the display interface, see [1] page 20. Those pins have to be used as the RGB/DPI interface or not used at all. So rather than duplicate the pinmux settings in every carrier board DT, better move them into the SoM DTSI. 2022-01-28ARM: dts: imx6qdl-dhcom-pdk2: Include missing headersMarek Vasut
Include missing headers, since this DT source uses symbolic names defined in those headers. If an external DT includes this dtsi without including the headers as well, the DT becomes unbuildable. Three headers are included: dt-bindings/gpio/gpio.h -- because this DT contains GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH dt-bindings/input/input.h -- because this DT contains KEY_A dt-bindings/pwm/pwm.h -- because this DT contains PWM_POLARITY_INVERTED Signed-off-by: Marek Vasut <marex@denx.de> Cc: Christoph Niedermaier <cniedermaier@dh-electronics.com> Cc: Fabio Estevam <festevam@gmail.com> Cc: NXP Linux Team <linux-imx@nxp.com> Cc: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org> Cc: kernel@dh-electronics.com Reviewed-by: Fabio Estevam <festevam@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2021-12-16ARM: dts: imx6qdl-dhcom: Add USB overcurrent pin on SoM layerChristoph Niedermaier
Add USB overcurrent pin muxing on SoM layer. On DRC02 and PDK2 the USB overcurrent pin isn't connected, but a USB hub on the board takes care of the USB overcurrent instead. Therefore disable it there with the property disable-over-current. 2021-08-09ARM: dts: imx6qdl-dhcom: Split SoC-independent parts of DHCOM SOM and PDK2Christoph Niedermaier
The DH electronics PDK2 can be populated with SoM with i.MX6S/DL/D/Q variants. Split the SoC-independent parts of the SoM and PDK2 into the imx6qdl-dhcom-*.dtsi and reduce imx6q-dhcom-pdk2.dts to example of adding i.MX6S/DL/D/Q variants of the SoM into a PDK2 carrier board.
