2021-03-10ARM: OMAP2+: Drop legacy platform data for omap5 emifTony Lindgren
We can now probe devices with ti-sysc interconnect driver and dts data. Let's drop the related platform data and custom ti,hwmods dts property. As we're just dropping data, and the early platform data init is based on the custom ti,hwmods property, we want to drop both the platform data and ti,hwmods property in a single patch. 2021-03-10ARM: dts: Move omap5 l3-noc to a separate nodeTony Lindgren
In preparation for probing l3 with simple-pm-bus and genpd, we must move l3 noc to a separate node. This is to prevent omap_l3_noc.c driver from claiming the whole l3 instance before simple-pm-bus has a chance to probe. Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2021-03-10ARM: dts: Move omap5 mmio-sram out of l3 interconnectTony Lindgren
We need mmio-sram early for omap4_sram_init() for IO barrier init, and will be moving l3 interconnect to probe with simple-pm-bus that probes at module_init() time. So let's move mmio-sram out of l3 to prepare for that. Otherwise we will get the following after probing the interconnects with simple-pm-bus: omap4_sram_init:Unable to get sram pool needed to handle errata I688 Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2021-03-10ARM: dts: Configure interconnect target module for omap5 sataTony Lindgren
We can now probe devices with device tree only configuration using ti-sysc interconnect target module driver. Let's configure the module, but keep the legacy "ti,hwmods" peroperty to avoid new boot time warnings. The legacy property will be removed in later patches together with the legacy platform data. Note that the old sysc register offset is wrong, the real offset is at 0x1100 as listed in TRM for SATA_SYSCONFIG register. Looks like we've been happily using sata on the bootloader configured sysconfig register and nobody noticed. Also the old register range for SATAMAC_wrapper registers is wrong at 7 while it should be 8. But that too seems harmless. There is also an L3 parent interconnect range that we don't seem to be using. That can be added as needed later on. Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>

2020-07-13ARM: dts: omap5: Add aliases for rproc nodesSuman Anna

2020-07-13ARM: dts: omap5: Add DSP and IPU nodesSuman Anna
OMAP5, like OMAP4, also has two remote processor subsystems, DSP and IPU. The IPU subsystem though has dual Cortex-M4 processors instead of the dual Cortex-M3 processors in OMAP4, but otherwise has almost the same set of features. Add the DT nodes for these two processor sub-systems for all OMAP5 SoCs. The nodes have the 'iommus', 'clocks', 'resets', 'firmware' and 'mboxes' properties added, and are disabled for now. The IPU node has its L2 RAM memory specified through the 'reg' and 'reg-names' properties. The DSP node doesn't have these since it doesn't have any L2 RAM memories, but has an additional 'ti,bootreg' property instead as it has a specific boot register that needs to be programmed for booting. These nodes should be enabled as per the individual product configuration in the corresponding board dts files. 2020-05-19ARM: dts: Configure system timers for omap5 and dra7Tony Lindgren
We can now init system timers using the dmtimer and 32k counter based on only devicetree data and drivers/clocksource timers. Let's configure the clocksource and clockevent, and drop the old unused platform data. As we're just dropping platform data, and the early platform data init is based on the custom ti,hwmods property, we want to drop both the platform data and ti,hwmods property in a single patch. Since the dmtimer can use both 32k clock and system clock as the source, let's also configure the SoC specific default values. The board specific dts files can reconfigure these with assigned-clocks and assigned-clock-parents as needed. Note that similar to omap_init_time_of(), we now need to call omap_clk_init() also from omap5_realtime_timer_init(). 2019-04-09ARM: dts: Add l4 abe interconnect hierarchy and ti-sysc data for omap5Tony Lindgren
We can now add l4 abe interconnect hierarchy and ti-sysc data with ti-sysc driver supporting external optional clocks needed by mcpdm. This data is generated based on platform data from a booted system and the interconnect acces protection registers for ranges. To avoid regressions, we initially validate the device tree provided data against the existing platform data on boot. Note that mcpdm we now need to enable at module level only for devices that have the external pdmclk wired from the PMIC as the clock is needed for the module to be accessible. Also note that abe seems to be the same as on omap4 except for domains and clocks and we may be able to combine the l4 abe data later on. But let's play it safe and just initially use what we have already defined in the platform data. 2018-11-09ARM: dts: omap5: Add l4 interconnect hierarchy and ti-sysc dataTony Lindgren
Similar to commit 8f42cb7f64c7 ("ARM: dts: omap4: Add l4 interconnect hierarchy and ti-sysc data"), let's add proper interconnect hierarchy for l4 interconnect instances with the related ti-sysc interconnect module data as in Documentation/devicetree/bindings/bus/ti-sysc.txt. Using ti-sysc driver binding allows us to start dropping legacy platform data in arch/arm/mach-omap2/omap*hwmod*data.c files later on in favor of ti-sysc dts data. This data is generated based on platform data from a booted system and the interconnect acces protection registers for ranges. To avoid regressions, we initially validate the device tree provided data against the existing platform data on boot. Cc: devicetree@vger.kernel.org Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2018-07-02ARM: dts: omap5: Add missing cooling device properties for CPUsViresh Kumar
The cooling device properties, like "#cooling-cells" and "dynamic-power-coefficient", should either be present for all the CPUs of a cluster or none. If these are present only for a subset of CPUs of a cluster then things will start falling apart as soon as the CPUs are brought online in a different order. For example, this will happen because the operating system looks for such properties in the CPU node it is trying to bring up, so that it can register a cooling device. Add such missing properties. Fix other missing properties (clocks, supply, clock latency) as well to make it all work. Signed-off-by: Viresh Kumar <viresh.kumar@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>

Add clkctrl nodes for OMAP5 SoC. These are going to be acting as replacement for part of the existing clock data and the existing clkctrl hooks under hwmod data. This patch also removes any obsolete clock nodes, and reroutes all users for these to use the new clkctrl clocks instead.
