2021-10-14ARM: dts: ux500: Switch battery nodes to standardLinus Walleij
This force-converts the per-device battery node into the standard properties using "simple-battery" for the HREF machines and the corresponding Samsung battery for the mobile phones. This is fine to do since the battery data in the DTS files has never been deployed or used. In commit a1149ae97554 "ARM: ux500: Disable Power Supply and Battery Management by default" it was turned off and has not been switched back on since. In the meantime standardized bindings for batteries have appeared making the old AB8500 battery bindings obsolete. The battery node which is now in the middle of an included file is obviously a per-device piece of information so push this down to each board. The HREF machines all have the same battery and can share a single node in the HREF dtsi file. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2021-08-26arm/arm64: dts: Fix remaining dtc 'unit_address_format' warningsRob Herring
Fix all the remaining dtc 'unit_address_format' warnings except for the ones related to 'register-bit-led'. For those, we need to decide on and document the node name. 2021-07-30ARM: dts: ux500: ab8500: Link USB PHY to USB controller nodeStephan Gerhold
At the moment the AB8500 USB PHY driver still uses the old USB PHY subsystem instead of the generic PHY subsystem. This means that there is no explicit link between the USB controller and the USB PHY. In U-Boot the PHY driver is integrated in the generic PHY subsystem, so we need to use the typical PHY device tree bindings to specify which PHY belongs to the USB controller. Add the link between USB controller and PHY to both ste-ab8500.dtsi and ste-ab8505.dtsi. This is mainly for U-Boot for now and will just be ignored in Linux. However, if the AB8500 USB PHY driver in Linux is moved to the generic PHY subsystem at some point these device tree changes can be used as well. 2021-05-18ARM: dts: ux500: Rename gpio-controller nodeSebastian Reichel
Rename the AB8500 gpio controller node from ab8500-gpio to ab8500-gpiocontroller, since -gpio is a common suffix for gpio consumers. Signed-off-by: Sebastian Reichel <sebastian.reichel@collabora.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2021-05-18ARM: dts: ux500: Fix interrupt cellsSebastian Reichel
Fix interrupt cells in DT AB8500/AB8505 source files. The compiled DTB files will stay the same. Signed-off-by: Sebastian Reichel <sebastian.reichel@collabora.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2021-03-30ARM: dts: ux500: Bump AUX1 voltageLinus Walleij
The voltage default on the AB8500 VAUX1 regulator is way too low and does not correspond to the setting in the vendor tree. This should be 2.8-3.3 V not 2.5-2.9 V or things like the HREFP520 touchscreen will not work. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2021-01-13ARM: dts: ux500: Add interrupts to chargerLinus Walleij
The different charger nodes in the AB8500 and AB8505 includes was missing the interrupt assignments for the interrupts necessary to drive the AB8500/AB8505 charging state machine. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2021-01-13ARM: dts: ux500: Fix channel names attributesLinus Walleij
The AB8500/AB8505 is providing ADC channels and do so using the standard property "io-channel-names" not the mistakenly singular form "io-channel-name". Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2020-11-06ARM: dts: ux500: Rename DSI controller nodesLinus Walleij
Rename the DSI controller nodes from "dsi-controller@" to "dsi@" so they match the naming convention in the YAML schema for DSI controllers. 2020-07-07ARM: dts: ux500: Supply nodes for the other 2 AB8500 PWM devicesLee Jones
As per 'struct mfd_cell ab8500_devs[]' there are not 1, but 3 PWM devices on the AB8500. Until now, each of them have referenced the same Device Tree node. This change ensures each device has their own. Due to recent `dtc` checks [0], nodes cannot share the same node name, so we are forced to rename the affected nodes by appending their associated numeric 'bank ID'. 2020-03-27ARM: dts: ux500: Fix missing node renamesLinus Walleij
I renamed the dsi-nodes from dsi@ to dsi-controller@ so that the schema check would kick in, but missed to rename it in a few places. 2019-12-09ARM: dts: ux500: declare GPADC IIO ADC channelsLinus Walleij
This adds the IIO channels for the GPADC after converting it to using the standard IIO ADC bindings and moving the driver over to the IIO subsystem. We also add IIO hwmon standard driver node to support reading channels in a standard manner. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2019-08-22ARM: dts: ux500: Remove ab8500_ldo_usb regulator from device treeStephan Gerhold
Support for the USB regulator of AB8500 was removed in commit 41a06aa738ad ("regulator: ab8500: Remove USB regulator"). However, the configuration was never removed from the device tree. It does no longer have any effect, remove it from the device tree. Signed-off-by: Stephan Gerhold <stephan@gerhold.net> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2019-08-22ARM: dts: ux500: Move ab8500 nodes to ste-ab8500.dtsiStephan Gerhold
Some Ux500 devices use the newer AB8505 PMIC instead of AB8500. Although they are very similar, there are subtle differences like the number of regulators or the available GPIO pins. At the moment, ste-dbx5x0.dtsi always configures the AB8500 PMIC. To support devices with AB8505, it is necessary to split the AB8500-specific parts into a separate .dtsi file. Boards can then select the PMIC by including either ste-ab8500.dtsi or ste-ab8505.dtsi. Signed-off-by: Stephan Gerhold <stephan@gerhold.net> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
