2019-10-25ARM: dts: stm32: fix memory nodes to match with DT validation toolAlexandre Torgue
DT validation ("make dtbs_check") has shown that some memory nodes were not correctly written. This commit fixes this kind of issue: "stm32f746-disco.dt.yaml: /: memory: False schema does not allow {'device_type': ['memory'], 'reg': [[3221225472, 8388608]]}" Signed-off-by: Alexandre Torgue <alexandre.torgue@st.com>
2019-08-02ARM: dts: stm32: add missing vdda-supply to adc on stm32429i-evalFabrice Gasnier
Add missing vdda-supply required by STM32 ADC. Fixes: 7465d81191a1 ("ARM: dts: stm32: enable ADC on stm32f429i-eval board") Signed-off-by: Fabrice Gasnier <fabrice.gasnier@st.com> Signed-off-by: Alexandre Torgue <alexandre.torgue@st.com>
2019-08-02ARM: dts: stm32: remove fixed regulator unit address on stm32429i-evalFabrice Gasnier
vref fixed regulator shouldn't have unit address and reg properties. Rename the label and phandle to "vref" according to the schematics. Also remove it from simple-bus. Fixes: 7465d81191a1 ("ARM: dts: stm32: enable ADC on stm32f429i-eval board") Signed-off-by: Fabrice Gasnier <fabrice.gasnier@st.com> Signed-off-by: Alexandre Torgue <alexandre.torgue@st.com>
2019-01-30ARM: dts: Kill off skeleton{64}.dtsiRob Herring
Remove the usage of skeleton.dtsi in the remaining dts files. It was deprecated since commit 9c0da3cc61f1 ("ARM: dts: explicitly mark skeleton.dtsi as deprecated"). This will make adding a unit-address to memory nodes easier. The main tricky part to removing skeleton.dtsi is we could end up with no /memory node at all when a bootloader depends on one being present. I hacked up dtc to check for this condition. 2017-10-04ARM: dts: stm32: use right pinctrl compatible for stm32f469Alexandre Torgue
Currently, same stm32f429-pinctrl driver is used for stm32f429 and stm32f469. As pin map is different between those 2 MCUs, a stm32f469-pinctrl driver has been recently added. This patch -allows to use stm32f469-pinctrl driver for stm32f469 boards -reworks stm32 devicetree files to fit with stm32f429 / stm32f469 In the same time it fixes an issue when only MACH_STM32F469 flag is selected in menuconfig. Fixes: d28bcd53fa90 ("ARM: stm32: Introduce MACH_STM32F469 flag") Reported-by: Nicolas Pitre <nicolas.pitre@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Alexandre Torgue <alexandre.torgue@st.com>
2017-10-04ARM: dts: stm32: Fix STMPE1600 binding on stm32429i-eval boardAlexandre Torgue
To declare gpio interrupt line for STMPE1600, 2 possibilities are offered: -use gpio binding (and then the gpiolib interface inside driver) -use interrupt binding as each gpio-controller are also interrupt controller on stm32f429. In STMPE 1600 node both (gpio and interrupt) bindings are defined. This patch fixes this issue and use only interrupt binding. 2016-11-04ARM: dts: stm32f429: Align Ethernet node with new bindings propertiesAlexandre TORGUE
This patch aligns clocks names and node reference according to new stm32-dwmac glue binding. It also renames Ethernet pinctrl phandle (indeed there is no need to add 0 as Ethernet instance as there is only one IP in SOC). Signed-off-by: Alexandre TORGUE <alexandre.torgue@st.com>
2016-11-04ARM: DT: stm32: move dma translation to board filesAlexandre TORGUE
stm32f469-disco and stm32f429-eval boards use SDRAM start address remapping (to @0) to boost performances. A DMA translation through "dma-ranges" property was needed for other masters than the M4 CPU. stm32f429-disco doesn't use remapping so doesn't need this DMA translation. This patches moves this DMA translation definition from stm32f429 soc file to board files. Tested-by: Bruno Herrera <bruherrera@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Alexandre TORGUE <alexandre.torgue@st.com>

2016-02-25ARM: dts: stm32429i-eval: Add USB HS host mode supportMaxime Coquelin
This patch adds USB HS support in host mode only. This port supports OTG mode, but the device more is not working properly as of now. Once the device mode fixed, the node will be updated to support OTG. Signed-off-by: Maxime Coquelin <mcoquelin.stm32@gmail.com>
2016-02-11ARM: dts: stm32f429: Boost perfs by remapping SDRAM Bank 1 to 0x0Maxime Coquelin
STM32F429 allows to remap FMC SDRAM Bank 1 from 0xc0000000 to 0x0, by writing 0x4 to SYSCFG_MEMRMP register. As mentionned in the reference manual (see chapter 9.3.1), the performance gain is really interresting: "In remap mode at address 0x0000 0000, the CPU can access the external memory via ICode bus instead of System bus which boosts up the performance." These are the dhrystone results with and without the remap enabled: Default (SDRAM in 0xc0000000): --------------------------------- Microseconds for one run through Dhrystone: 31.8 Dhrystones per Second: 31416.9 Remap (SDRAM in 0x0000000): ----------------------------- Microseconds for one run through Dhrystone: 20.6 Dhrystones per Second: 48520.1 This patch first change the SDRAM start address to 0x0 for STM32429i-EVAL board, and also set the dma-range property as the other masters than the M4 CPU still see SDRAM in 0xc0000000. Note that the Discovery board cannot benefit from this feature, since the SDRAM is connected to Bank 2. Signed-off-by: Maxime Coquelin <mcoquelin.stm32@gmail.com>
