2019-08-23ARM: dts: sunxi: Add mdio bus sub-node to GMACChen-Yu Tsai
The DWMAC binding never supported having the Ethernet PHY node as a direct child to the controller, nor did it support the "phy" property as a way to specify which Ethernet PHY to use. What seemed to work was simply the implementation ignoring the "phy" property and instead probing all addresses on the MDIO bus and using the first available one. The recent switch from "phy" to "phy-handle" breaks the assumptions of the implementation, and does not match what the binding requires. The binding requires that if an MDIO bus is described, it shall be a sub-node with the "snps,dwmac-mdio" compatible string. Add a device node for the MDIO bus, and move the Ethernet PHY node under it. Also fix up the #address-cells and #size-cells properties where needed. The phy device tree property has been deprecated in favor of phy-handle, let's replace it. Reviewed-by: Andrew Lunn <andrew@lunn.ch> Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com>
2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun6i: Provide default muxing for relevant controllersMaxime Ripard
The I2C and MMC controllers have only one muxing option in the SoC. In such a case, we can just move the muxing into the DTSI, and remove it from the DTS. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com> Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org>
2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun6i: Change pinctrl nodes to avoid warningMaxime Ripard
All our pinctrl nodes were using a node name convention with a unit-address to differentiate the different muxing options. However, since those nodes didn't have a reg property, they were generating warnings in DTC. In order to accomodate for this, convert the old nodes to the syntax we've been using for the new SoCs, including removing the letter suffix of the node labels to the bank of those pins to make things more readable. 2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun6i: Remove card detect pull-upMaxime Ripard
Boards usually have an external pull-up on the card-detect signal, so there's no need to add another one. This also removes a DTC warning. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com> Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org>
2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun6i: Remove all useless pinctrl nodesMaxime Ripard
The gpio pinctrl nodes are redundant and as such useless most of the times. Since they will also generate warnings in DTC, we can simply remove most of them. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com> Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org>
2018-11-28ARM: dts: sun6i: Change LRADC node names to avoid warningsMaxime Ripard
One of the usage of the LRADC is to implement buttons. The bindings define that we should have one subnode per button, with their associated voltage as a property. However, there was no reg property but we still used the voltage associated to the button as the unit-address, which eventually generated warnings in DTC. Rename the node names to avoid those warnings. Signed-off-by: Maxime Ripard <maxime.ripard@bootlin.com> Acked-by: Chen-Yu Tsai <wens@csie.org>
2018-02-13ARM: dts: sunxi: Switch MMC nodes away from cd-inverted propertyTuomas Tynkkynen
Using the cd-inverted property is not useful when GPIOs are used as card detects since the polarity can be specified with the usual GPIO_ACTIVE_(HIGH|LOW) GPIO flags. It has also caused confusion for U-Boot developers, so migrate all sunxi boards away from cd-inverted. 2017-10-11ARM: dts: sun6i: Enable HDMI support on some A31/A31s devicesChen-Yu Tsai
All the A31/A31s devices I own have some kind of HDMI connector wired to the dedicated HDMI pins on the SoC: - A31 Hummingbird (standard HDMI connector, display already enabled) - Sinlinx SinA31s (standard HDMI connector) - MSI Primo81 tablet (micro HDMI connector) Enable the display pipeline (if needed) and HDMI output for them. 2017-01-18ARM: dts: sun6i: sina31s: Enable USB OTG controller in peripheral modeChen-Yu Tsai
While the SinA31s does have a proper 5-pin mini USB OTG port, the ID pin does not seem to work. The pin used in the schematics is always low, regardless of the attached OTG cable or SoC internal pin bias settings. The v1.5 board is missing bias resistors shown in the schematics for earlier revisions, and the connections of the remaining one does not match the schematics either. In addition, VBUS for this port is disconnected from the board's 5V power rail. The board features a pad to solder jumper pins to connect VBUS to 5V manually. Given the above and the fact that the board has 5 more USB host ports, it makes more sense to have the OTG port work in peripheral mode. 2015-10-19ARM: dts: sun6i: Add support for Sinlinx A31s SDK boardChen-Yu Tsai
The Sinlinx A31s SDK is a A31s based module/baseboard development kit. The core module has the SoC, PMIC, DRAM, eMMC and supporting components. There are also pads for UART0, JTAG and I2S. The baseboard has 100 Mbps Ethernet, 5x USB 2.0 host ports via a USB 2.0 hub chip, MMC, HDMI, SPDIF, CIR, audio jacks, 2 tablet-like volume buttons, RS232 style UART and USB OTG (though VBUS is not connected).
