2020-09-13ARM: imx: Remove imx device directoryFabio Estevam
arch/arm/mach-imx/devices/ contains utilities for registering devices in board file. Now that board files are gone, get rid of the devices directory. Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <festevam@gmail.com> Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2019-05-21treewide: Add SPDX license identifier - Makefile/KconfigThomas Gleixner
Add SPDX license identifiers to all Make/Kconfig files which: - Have no license information of any form These files fall under the project license, GPL v2 only. The resulting SPDX license identifier is: GPL-2.0-only Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2016-06-28ARM: imx: deconstruct mxc_rnga initializationArnd Bergmann
The rnga platform device is initialized for all imx31 machines from its own initcall, but is never initialized anywhere else. This moves the platform device creation into both the imx31 dt and non-dt machine init sequences, which has basically the exact same effect as before, but makes it more obvious what is going on, while reducing the amount of code and removing the last user of cpu_is_mx31(). 2015-03-13ARM: mx25: Remove imxdi_rtc platform codeFabio Estevam
platform-imxdi_rtc.c is only used by mx25, so it can safely go away now that mx25 has been converted to dt. Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@freescale.com> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org>
2014-07-18ARM: i.MX: Remove excess symbols ARCH_MX1, ARCH_MX25 and MACH_MX27Alexander Shiyan
This patch removes excess symbols ARCH_MX1, ARCH_MX25 and MACH_MX27. Instead we use SOC_IMX*. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@freescale.com>
2014-07-18ARM: i.MX: Remove i.MX1 camera supportAlexander Shiyan
i.MX1 camera driver has been removed by the commit 90b055898e. This patch removes remaining support files for this camera. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@freescale.com>
2014-07-18ARM: imx5: remove i.MX5 non-DT device registration helpersShawn Guo
i.MX5 is DT only platforms, so these non-DT device registration helpers is used nowhere. Remove them. Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@freescale.com>
2014-07-18ARM: i.MX: Remove registration helper for i.MX1 USB UDCAlexander Shiyan
imx_udc driver was removed from the kernel of about 10 months ago. This patch removes a registration helper for this driver and orphaned driver header. Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@freescale.com>
2014-03-05ARM i.MX: remove PWM platform supportSascha Hauer
As the i.MX pwm driver is devicetree only, remove the platform support for this device. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org>
2013-06-03can: flexcan: remove HAVE_CAN_FLEXCAN Kconfig symbolMarc Kleine-Budde
This patch removes the Kconfig symbol HAVE_CAN_FLEXCAN from arch/{arm,powerpc} and allowing compilation unconditionally on all arm and powerpc platforms. This brings a bigger compile time coverage and removes the following dependency warning found by Arnd Bergmann: warning: (SOC_IMX28 && SOC_IMX25 && SOC_IMX35 && IMX_HAVE_PLATFORM_FLEXCAN && SOC_IMX53 && SOC_IMX6Q) selects HAVE_CAN_FLEXCAN which has unmet direct dependencies (NET && CAN && CAN_DEV) Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Acked-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org> Acked-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Marc Kleine-Budde <mkl@pengutronix.de>
2013-04-09ARM i.MX53: remove platform ahci supportSascha Hauer
The i.MX53 ahci platform support is unused in mainline. To demotivate people using it just remove it from the tree. Signed-off-by: Sascha Hauer <s.hauer@pengutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@linaro.org>
2013-01-29ARM: imx: Remove mx508 supportFabio Estevam
Only mx508 based board is mach-mx50_rdp and it has been marked as BROKEN for several releases. mx508 currently lacks clock support. In case someone needs to add mx508 support back, then the recommended approach is to use device tree.
