2015-12-01ARM: w90x900: make headers more localArnd Bergmann
Some header files are never included outside of a mach-w90x900 directory and do not need to be made visible in include/mach, so let's just move them all down one level. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2015-07-17ARM/w90x900/time: Migrate to new 'set-state' interfaceViresh Kumar
Migrate w90x900 driver to the new 'set-state' interface provided by clockevents core, the earlier 'set-mode' interface is marked obsolete now. This also enables us to implement callbacks for new states of clockevent devices, for example: ONESHOT_STOPPED. 2014-03-12ARM: 8003/1: w90x900: remove deprecated IRQF_DISABLEDMichael Opdenacker
This patch removes the use of the IRQF_DISABLED flag from arch/arm/mach-w90x900/time.c It's a NOOP since 2.6.35 and it will be removed one day. 2013-01-14Merge branch 'clocksource/cleanup' into next/cleanupOlof Johansson
Clockevent cleanup series from Shawn Guo. Resolved move/change conflict in mach-pxa/time.c due to the sys_timer cleanup. * clocksource/cleanup: clocksource: use clockevents_config_and_register() where possible ARM: use clockevents_config_and_register() where possible clockevents: export clockevents_config_and_register for module use + sync to Linux 3.8-rc3 Signed-off-by: Olof Johansson <olof@lixom.net> Conflicts: arch/arm/mach-pxa/time.c
2013-01-14ARM: use clockevents_config_and_register() where possibleShawn Guo
The clockevent core is able to figure out the best mult and shift, calculate min_delta_ns and max_delta_ns, with the necessary info passed into clockevents_config_and_register(). Use this combined configure and register function where possible to make the codes less error prone and gain some positive diff stat. 2012-12-24ARM: delete struct sys_timerStephen Warren
Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. This will enable moving timer drivers into drivers/clocksource without having to place a public prototype of each struct sys_timer object into include/linux; the intent is to create a single of_clocksource_init() function that determines which timer driver to initialize by scanning the device dtree, much like the proposed irqchip_init() at: http://www.spinics.net/lists/arm-kernel/msg203686.html Includes mach-omap2 fixes from Igor Grinberg. 2011-11-21ARM: w90x900: add common nuc9xx.hRussell King
Rather than having separate extern declarations in nuc9*.h, provide a common header file containing these definitions. Tested-by: Wan Zongshun <mcuos.com@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2011-05-23clocksource: convert W90x900 24-bit down counting clocksourceRussell King
Convert the W90x900 24-bit down-counting clocksource to the generic mmio clocksource infrastructure Acked-by: Wan ZongShun <mcuos.com@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2010-12-22ARM: nuc: update clock source registrationRussell King
In d7e81c2 (clocksource: Add clocksource_register_hz/khz interface) new interfaces were added which simplify (and optimize) the selection of the divisor shift/mult constants. Switch over to using this new interface. Acked-by: Wan zongshun <mcuos.com@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2010-01-05ARM: 5863/1: fix bugs of clock source of NUC900Li Jie
This patch fix following bugs: 1. typo error, CLOCK_EVT_MODE_PERIODIC -> CLOCK_EVT_FEAT_PERIODIC 2. TCSR register of timer1 missed PRESCALE 3. timer1 should be enabled before register it to clock source.
