2023-05-14arm64: dts: imx8mq-mnt-reform2: drop invalid simple-panel compatibleKrzysztof Kozlowski
"simple-panel" compatible is not documented and nothing in Linux kernel binds to it: imx8mq-mnt-reform2.dtb: panel: compatible: ['innolux,n125hce-gn1', 'simple-panel'] is too long Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzysztof.kozlowski@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2023-01-26arm64: dts: imx8mq: Deduplicate PCIe clock-names propertyMarek Vasut
Move the PCIe clock-names property from various DTs into SoC dtsi to reduce duplication. In case of a couple of boards, reorder the clock so they match the order in yaml DT bindings. Avoid the following checkpatch warning: arch/arm/boot/dts/imx8mq-mnt-reform2.dts:213: check: Please don't use multiple blank lines Signed-off-by: Marcel Ziswiler <marcel.ziswiler@toradex.com> Acked-by: Lucas Stach <dev@lynxeye.de> Reviewed-by: Fabio Estevam <festevam@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2022-05-05arm64: dt: imx8mq: support pwm polarity inversionMarkus Niebel
The i.MX8MQ has the same PWM IP as i.MX6 / i.MX7. This IP and the driver supporting pwm polarity inversion. Switch CPU device tree fragment to use 3 pwm-cells and correct board device trees. 2022-02-11arm64: dts: mnt-reform2: correct i2c3 pad-ctrlLucas Stach
The slew rate and drive-strength of the i2c3 pads were much too high. Bring them down to avoid signal quality issues. Signed-off-by: Lucas Stach <dev@lynxeye.de> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2022-02-11arm64: dts: mnt-reform2: add internal display supportLucas Stach
This adds support for the internal display of the Reform2 Laptop, which is connected to the i.MX8MQ via a MIPI-DSI->eDP bridge chip. Clocking is derived from a system PLL, which provides quite good rate matching for the single supported display mode and keeps the video PLL free for usage with the external display, which isn't supported yet. 2021-11-21arm64: dts: freescale: add 'chassis-type' propertyArnaud Ferraris
A new 'chassis-type' root node property has recently been approved for the device-tree specification, in order to provide a simple way for userspace to detect the device form factor and adjust their behavior accordingly. This patch fills in this property for end-user devices (such as laptops, smartphones and tablets) based on NXP ARM64 processors. 2021-09-22arm64: dts: imx8mq-reform2: add uSDHC2 CD pinctrlLucas Stach
The SD card slot on the Reform 2 uses the card detect pad routed to the uSDHC2 module as intended. This is currently working as it is the default mux setting for this pad, but better be explicit and add it to the pinctrl node. 2021-08-14arm64: dts: imx8mq-reform2: add sound supportLucas Stach
This adds sound support to the Reform2. It differs from the downstream implementation in that the codec is used as the BCLK and FSYNC master and the i.MX8MQ only supplies a fixed 25MHz MCLK from the oscillator. This allows to support a wider range of audio rates by using the codec PLL and to shut down the audio PLLs on the i.MX8MQ SoC side. 2021-07-14arm64: dts: imx8mq: add support for MNT Reform2Lucas Stach
This adds a basic devicetree for the MNT Reform2 DIY laptop. Not all of the board periperals are enabled yet, as some of them still require kernel patches to work properly. The nodes for those peripherals will be added as soon as the required patches are upstream. The following has been tested to work: - UART console - SD card - eMMC - Gigabit Ethernet - USB (internal Keyboard, Mouse, external ports) - M.2 PCIe port Co-developed-by: Lukas F.
