2023-04-07arm64: dts: qcom: msm8998: remove superfluous "input-enable"Krzysztof Kozlowski
Pin configuration property "input-enable" was used with the intention to disable the output, but this is done by default by Linux drivers. Since patch ("dt-bindings: pinctrl: qcom: tlmm should use output-disable, not input-enable") the property is not accepted anymore. 2023-04-04arm64: dts: qcom: msm8998-yoshino: Use actual pin names for pin nodesKonrad Dybcio
With the gpio-line-names in place coming from SONY themselves, we can now make the pin nodes and their labels to more closely resemble the actual thing. 4k has been renamed to four_k due to dtc limitations. 2023-04-04arm64: dts: qcom: msm8998-yoshino: Use SONY GPIO namesKonrad Dybcio
Sony ever so graciously provides GPIO line names in their downstream kernel (though sometimes they are not 100% accurate and you can judge that by simply looking at them and with what drivers they are used). Add these to the Yoshino devices DTs to better document the hardware. Lilac and Poplar have identical pin assignments. Diff between these two and maple: TLMM: - "NC", + "TS_VDDIO_EN", PMI8998: - "NC" + "USB_SWITCH_SEL" - "NC" + "4K_DISP_DCDC_EN" PM8005: - "NC" + "EAR_EN" Which is probably due to Maple being designed and released quite a bit earlier than the other two and it having a super high tech true-4K display. 2022-06-27arm64: dts: qcom: msm8998*: Keep MMCC & MMSS_SMMU enabled by defaultKonrad Dybcio
MMCC is a component of the SoC that should always be configured. It was kept off due to misconfiguration on clamshell machines. Keep it disabled on these ones and enable it by default on all the others. Exactly the same story applies to MMSS_SMMU, which directly depends on MMCC. Do note, that if a platform doesn't use neither EFIFB (only applies to WoA devices in this case) or simplefb (applies to precisely 2 msm8998 devices as of this commit), this will not cause any harm. 2021-09-24arm64: dts: qcom: msm8998: Introduce support for Sony Yoshino platformAngeloGioacchino Del Regno
This commit introduces support for the Sony Yoshino platform, using the MSM8998 SoC, including: - Sony Xperia XZ1 (codename Poplar), - Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact (codename Lilac), - Sony Xperia XZ Premium (codename Maple). All of the three aforementioned smartphones are sharing a 99% equal board configuration, with very small differences between each other, which is the reason for the introduction of a common msm8998-sony-xperia-yoshino DT. This base configuration includes regulators and project-wide pin configurations and it's made to boot to a serial console.
