2023-02-08arm64: dts: qcom: sdm845-oneplus-*: add audio devicesCaleb Connolly
Populate the audio devices found on the OnePlus 6 and 6T using the sdm845-sndcard driver. Both devices have the earpiece and headphone jack connected to the WCD9341 codec. The OnePlus 6 uses the MAX98927 speaker codec which is already supported upstream. The OnePlus 6T uses a currently unsupported TFA9894 codec. Two internal microphones are supported, as well as an external headset mic. Each DAI link is expected to be used for a single device. Alsa UCM2 configs for this setup can be found here, they are not yet upstream and include support for call audio which is missing in this patch https://gitlab.com/sdm845-mainline/alsa-ucm-conf/-/tree/9ed12836b269764c4a853411d38ccb6abb70b383/ucm2/OnePlus Co-developed-by: Dylan Van Assche <me@dylanvanassche.be> Signed-off-by: Dylan Van Assche <me@dylanvanassche.be> Signed-off-by: Caleb Connolly <caleb.connolly@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Bjorn Andersson <andersson@kernel.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20230125231829.2621768-1-caleb.connolly@linaro.org
2022-01-31arm64: dts: qcom: sdm845-oneplus-*: add fuel gaugeCaleb Connolly
The OnePlus 6 and 6T feature a BQ27411 fuel gauge for reading the battery stats. Enable it and add a simple battery to document the battery specs of each device. 2021-12-14arm64: dts: qcom: sdm845-oneplus-*: add msm-id and board-idCaleb Connolly
The msm-id and board-id can be used to select the correct dtb when multiple are provided to the bootloader. Multiple DTBs can be provided on sdm845 devices using boot image header v1 by appending them all to the kernel image before creating the boot image. The bootloader then selects them like this: Best match DTB tags 321/00000008/0x00000000/20001/20014/20115/20018/0/(offset)0x79998E27/(size)0x000173CD Using pmic info 0x20014/0x20115/0x20018/0x0 for device 0x20014/0x20115/0x20018/0x0 Signed-off-by: Caleb Connolly <caleb.connolly@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Bjorn Andersson <bjorn.andersson@linaro.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20211209225938.2427342-1-caleb.connolly@linaro.org
2021-10-16arm64: dts: qcom: add 'chassis-type' propertyArnaud Ferraris
A new 'chassis-type' root node property has recently been approved for the device-tree specification, in order to provide a simple way for userspace to detect the device form factor and adjust their behavior accordingly. This patch fills in this property for end-user devices (such as laptops, smartphones and tablets) based on Qualcomm ARM64 processors.
