2022-10-17arm64: dts: qcom: split beryllium dts into common dtsi and tianma dtsJoel Selvaraj
There are two panel variants of Xiaomi Poco F1. Tianma and EBBG panel. The previous beryllium dts supported the Tianma variant. In order to add support for EBBG variant, the common nodes from beryllium dts are moved to a new common dtsi and to make the variants distinguishable, sdm845-xiaomi-beryllium.dts is now named as sdm845-xiaomi-beryllium-tianma.dts. The model property is updated to distinguish between the variants. The compatibility property is moved to the tianma variant, but it is not updated to avoid any further conflict with other projects/users that might depend on it. format The "qcom/sdm845/" path conflicts with db845c's firmware that are present in the linux-firmware package. Xiaomi uses their own signed firmware for Poco F1 and can't use the db845c's firmware. So let's use "qcom/sdm845/beryllium/" to distinguish Poco F1's firmware files. 2021-10-23arm64: dts: qcom: sdm845: Move gpio.h inclusion to SoC DTSIKonrad Dybcio
Almost any board that boots and has a way to interact with it (say for the rare cases of just-pstore or let's-rely-on-bootloader-setup) needs to set some GPIOs, so it makes no sense to include gpio.h separately each time. Hence move it to SoC DTSI. 2020-09-12arm64: dts: qcom: Add support for Xiaomi Poco F1 (Beryllium)Amit Pundir
Add initial dts support for Xiaomi Poco F1 (Beryllium). This initial support is based on upstream Dragonboard 845c (sdm845) device. With this dts, Beryllium boots AOSP up to ADB shell over USB-C. Supported functionality includes UFS, USB-C (peripheral), microSD card and Vol+/Vol-/power keys. Bluetooth should work too but couldn't be verified from adb command line, it is verified when enabled from UI with few WIP display patches. Just like initial db845c support, initializing the SMMU is clearing the mapping used for the splash screen framebuffer, which causes the device to hang during boot and recovery needs a hard power reset. This can be worked around using: fastboot oem select-display-panel none To switch ON the display back run: fastboot oem select-display-panel But this only works on Beryllium devices running bootloader version BOOT.XF.2.0-00369-SDM845LZB-1 that shipped with Android-9 based release. Newer bootloader version do not support switching OFF the display panel at all.
