2016-08-04tree-wide: replace config_enabled() with IS_ENABLED()Masahiro Yamada
The use of config_enabled() against config options is ambiguous. In practical terms, config_enabled() is equivalent to IS_BUILTIN(), but the author might have used it for the meaning of IS_ENABLED(). Using IS_ENABLED(), IS_BUILTIN(), IS_MODULE() etc. makes the intention clearer. This commit replaces config_enabled() with IS_ENABLED() where possible. This commit is only touching bool config options. I noticed two cases where config_enabled() is used against a tristate option: - config_enabled(CONFIG_HWMON) [ drivers/net/wireless/ath/ath10k/thermal.c ] - config_enabled(CONFIG_BACKLIGHT_CLASS_DEVICE) [ drivers/gpu/drm/gma500/opregion.c ] I did not touch them because they should be converted to IS_BUILTIN() in order to keep the logic, but I was not sure it was the authors' intention. 2016-08-02MIPS: Factor o32 specific code into signal_o32.cHarvey Hunt
The commit ebb5e78cc634 ("MIPS: Initial implementation of a VDSO") caused building a 64 bit kernel with support for n32 and not o32 to produce a build error: arch/mips/kernel/signal32.c:415:11: error: ‘vdso_image_o32’ undeclared here (not in a function) .vdso = &vdso_image_o32, Fix this by moving the o32 specific code into signal_o32.c and updating the Makefile accordingly. 2015-09-03MIPS: Use common FP sigcontext code for O32 compatPaul Burton
Make use of the common FP sigcontext code for O32 binaries running on MIPS64 kernels now that it is taking appropriate offsets into struct sigcontext(32) from struct mips_abi. 2013-03-19Fix breakage in MIPS siginfo handlingDavid Howells
MIPS's siginfo handling has been broken since this commit: commit 574c4866e33d648520a8bd5bf6f573ea6e554e88 Author: Al Viro <viro@zeniv.linux.org.uk> Date: Sun Nov 25 22:24:19 2012 -0500 consolidate kernel-side struct sigaction declarations for 64-bit BE MIPS CPUs. The UAPI variant looks like this: struct sigaction { unsigned int sa_flags; __sighandler_t sa_handler; sigset_t sa_mask; }; but the core kernel's variant looks like this: struct sigaction { #ifndef __ARCH_HAS_ODD_SIGACTION __sighandler_t sa_handler; unsigned long sa_flags; #else unsigned long sa_flags; __sighandler_t sa_handler; #endif #ifdef __ARCH_HAS_SA_RESTORER __sigrestore_t sa_restorer; #endif sigset_t sa_mask; }; The problem is that sa_flags has been changed from an unsigned int to an unsigned long. Fix this by making sa_flags unsigned int if __ARCH_HAS_ODD_SIGACTION is defined. Whilst we're at it, rename __ARCH_HAS_ODD_SIGACTION to __ARCH_HAS_IRIX_SIGACTION. 2009-06-11asm-generic: rename termios.h, signal.h and mman.hArnd Bergmann
The existing asm-generic versions are incomplete and included by some architectures. New architectures should be able to use a generic version, so rename the existing files and change all users, which lets us add the new files.
