2018-03-09mn10300: Remove the architectureDavid Howells
Remove the MN10300 arch as the hardware is defunct. Suggested-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Signed-off-by: David Howells <dhowells@redhat.com> cc: Masahiro Yamada <yamada.masahiro@socionext.com> cc: linux-am33-list@redhat.com Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2017-11-07PCI: Remove redundant pci_dev, pci_bus, resource declarationsBjorn Helgaas
<linux/pci.h> defines struct pci_bus and struct pci_dev and includes the struct resource definition before including <asm/pci.h>. Nobody includes <asm/pci.h> directly, so they don't need their own declarations. Remove the redundant struct pci_dev, pci_bus, resource declarations. 2017-11-07PCI: Remove redundant pcibios_set_master() declarationsBjorn Helgaas
All users of pcibios_set_master() include <linux/pci.h>, which already has a declaration. Remove the unnecessary declarations from the <asm/pci.h> files. 2017-04-20mn10300/PCI: Use generic pci_mmap_resource_range()David Woodhouse
This was setting vma->vm_flags |= VM_LOCKED. Not sure why... Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw@amazon.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com> Reviewed-by: David Howells <dhowells@redhat.com>
2017-04-18PCI: Move multiple declarations of pci_mmap_page_range() to <linux/pci.h>David Woodhouse
We can declare it <linux/pci.h> even on platforms where it isn't going to be defined. There's no need to have it littered through the various <asm/pci.h> files. Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw@amazon.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com>
2016-03-07PCI: Move pci_dma_* helpers to common codeChristoph Hellwig
For a long time all architectures implement the pci_dma_* functions using the generic DMA API, and they all use the same header to do so. Move this header, pci-dma-compat.h, to include/linux and include it from the generic pci.h instead of having each arch duplicate this include. 2015-06-25Merge branch 'for-4.2/sg' of git://git.kernel.dk/linux-blockLinus Torvalds
Pull asm/scatterlist.h removal from Jens Axboe: "We don't have any specific arch scatterlist anymore, since parisc finally switched over. Kill the include" * 'for-4.2/sg' of git://git.kernel.dk/linux-block: remove scatterlist.h generation from arch Kbuild files remove <asm/scatterlist.h>
2015-06-08PCI: Remove unused pcibios_select_root() (again)Bjorn Helgaas
a6c140969b46 ("Delete pcibios_select_root") removed pcibios_select_root(). But a7db50405216 ("PCI: remove pcibios_scan_all_fns()") added a few copies back, probably with some incorrect merge conflict resolutions. Remove the still-unused pcibios_select_root() definitions. 2015-05-05remove <asm/scatterlist.h>Christoph Hellwig
We don't have any arch specific scatterlist now that parisc switched over to the generic one. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Signed-off-by: Jens Axboe <axboe@fb.com>
2014-05-27PCI: Turn pcibios_penalize_isa_irq() into a weak functionHanjun Guo
pcibios_penalize_isa_irq() is only implemented by x86 now, and legacy ISA is not used by some architectures. Make pcibios_penalize_isa_irq() a __weak function to simplify the code. This removes the need for new platforms to add stub implementations of pcibios_penalize_isa_irq(). 2012-02-23PCI: collapse pcibios_resource_to_busBjorn Helgaas
