2020-10-04riscv: remove address space overrides using set_fs()Christoph Hellwig
Stop providing the possibility to override the address space using set_fs() now that there is no need for that any more. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Signed-off-by: Palmer Dabbelt <palmerdabbelt@google.com>
2020-07-14riscv: use 16KB kernel stack on 64-bitAndreas Schwab
With the current 8KB stack size there are frequent overflows in a 64-bit configuration. We may split IRQ stacks off in the future, but this fixes a number of issues right now. 2019-10-29riscv: add support for SECCOMP and SECCOMP_FILTERDavid Abdurachmanov
This patch was extensively tested on Fedora/RISCV (applied by default on top of 5.2-rc7 kernel for <2 months). The patch was also tested with 5.3-rc on QEMU and SiFive Unleashed board. libseccomp (userspace) was rebased: https://github.com/seccomp/libseccomp/pull/134 Fully passes libseccomp regression testing (simulation and live). There is one failing kernel selftest: global.user_notification_signal v1 -> v2: - return immediately if secure_computing(NULL) returns -1 - fixed whitespace issues - add missing seccomp.h - remove patch #2 (solved now) - add riscv to seccomp kernel selftest Signed-off-by: David Abdurachmanov <david.abdurachmanov@sifive.com> Cc: keescook@chromium.org Cc: me@carlosedp.com Tested-by: Carlos de Paula <me@carlosedp.com> Reviewed-by: Kees Cook <keescook@chromium.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/linux-riscv/CAEn-LTp=ss0Dfv6J00=rCAy+N78U2AmhqJNjfqjr2FDpPYjxEQ@mail.gmail.com/ Link: https://lore.kernel.org/linux-riscv/CAJr-aD=UnCN9E_mdVJ2H5nt=6juRSWikZnA5HxDLQxXLbsRz-w@mail.gmail.com/ [paul.walmsley@sifive.com: cleaned up Cc: lines; fixed spelling and checkpatch issues; updated to apply] Signed-off-by: Paul Walmsley <paul.walmsley@sifive.com>

2019-04-25riscv: turn mm_segment_t into a structChristoph Hellwig
This matches what other heavily used architectures do, and will allow us to easily use <asm-generic/uaccess.h> for the nommu case. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Signed-off-by: Palmer Dabbelt <palmer@sifive.com>
2019-01-07riscv: add audit supportDavid Abdurachmanov
On RISC-V (riscv) audit is supported through generic lib/audit.c. The patch adds required arch specific definitions. Signed-off-by: David Abdurachmanov <david.abdurachmanov@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Palmer Dabbelt <palmer@sifive.com>
2018-01-09Construct init thread stack in the linker script rather than by unionDavid Howells
Construct the init thread stack in the linker script rather than doing it by means of a union so that ia64's init_task.c can be got rid of. The following symbols are then made available from INIT_TASK_DATA() linker script macro: init_thread_union init_stack INIT_TASK_DATA() also expands the region to THREAD_SIZE to accommodate the size of the init stack. init_thread_union is given its own section so that it can be placed into the stack space in the right order. I'm assuming that the ia64 ordering is correct and that the task_struct is first and the thread_info second.
