2017-11-13clk: clk-u300: Fix a typo in two comment linesMarkus Elfring
Add a missing character in these descriptions. Signed-off-by: Markus Elfring <elfring@users.sourceforge.net> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2017-11-13clk: clk-u300: Add some spaces for better code readabilityMarkus Elfring
Use space characters at some source code places according to the Linux coding style convention. Signed-off-by: Markus Elfring <elfring@users.sourceforge.net> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2017-11-13clk: clk-u300: Improve sizeof() usageMarkus Elfring
Replace the specification of data structures by pointer dereferences as the parameter for the operator "sizeof" to make the corresponding size determination a bit safer according to the Linux coding style convention. This issue was detected by using the Coccinelle software. Signed-off-by: Markus Elfring <elfring@users.sourceforge.net> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2017-11-13clk: clk-u300: Delete error messages for failed memory allocationsMarkus Elfring
Omit extra messages for a memory allocation failure in these functions. This issue was detected by using the Coccinelle software. Signed-off-by: Markus Elfring <elfring@users.sourceforge.net> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2016-06-30clk: u300: Migrate to clk_hw based registration APIsStephen Boyd
Now that we have clk_hw based provider APIs to register clks, we can get rid of struct clk pointers while registering clks in these drivers, allowing us to move closer to a clear split of consumer and provider clk APIs. Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <stephen.boyd@linaro.org> Acked-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2015-07-20clk: u300: Remove clk.h includeStephen Boyd
Clock provider drivers generally shouldn't include clk.h because it's the consumer API. Remove the include here because this is a provider driver. Also add in slab.h because without clkdev.h compilation of this file would fail. Reviewed-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2015-05-14clk: u300: Silence sparse warningsStephen Boyd
drivers/clk/clk-u300.c:1175:13: warning: symbol 'u300_clk_init' was not declared. Should it be static? Acked-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org>
2014-05-27clk: u300: Terminate of match tableStephen Boyd
Failure to terminate this match table can lead to boot failures depending on where the compiler places the match table. Signed-off-by: Stephen Boyd <sboyd@codeaurora.org> Acked-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Mike Turquette <mturquette@linaro.org>
2013-08-27clk: u300: Fix incorrect placement of __initconstSachin Kamat
__initconst should be placed between the variable name and equal sign for the variable to be placed in the intended section. While at it also make 'u300_clk_lookup' static as it is used only in this file. Signed-off-by: Sachin Kamat <sachin.kamat@linaro.org> Acked-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Mike Turquette <mturquette@linaro.org>
2013-06-17ARM: u300: convert MMC/SD clock to device treeLinus Walleij
This converts the last of the U300 clocks to being probed from the device tree. Acked-by: Mike Turquette <mturquette@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-06-17ARM: u300: move the gated system controller clocks to DTLinus Walleij
This moves the slow, fast, AHB bridge and "rest" clocks on the U300 system controller over to registration from the device tree. Acked-by: Mike Turquette <mturquette@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-06-17clk: move the U300 fixed and fixed-factor to DTLinus Walleij
This converts the fixed and fixed-factor clocks in the U300 platform to register themselves from the device tree. Acked-by: Mike Turquette <mturquette@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2013-06-17ARM: u300: push down syscon registersLinus Walleij
Get rid of the <mach/syscon.h> header as a prerequisite for multiplatform support. Do this by pushing the registers down to their respective drivers and deleting the unused remainder. Acked-by: Mike Turquette <mturquette@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2012-07-11ARM: u300: convert to common clockLinus Walleij
This converts the U300 clock implementation over to use the common struct clk and moves the implementation down into drivers/clk. Since VCO isn't used in tree it was removed, it's not hard to put it back in if need be.
