2019-06-22drm/amd/display: move vmid determination logic to a moduleDmytro Laktyushkin
Currently vmid is decided internally inside dc. With the introduction of new asics we are required to coordinate vmid use with external components. This change converts vmid logic to a DAL module allowing vmid to be passed in as a parameter to DC. 2019-01-25drm/amd/display: Introduce DC VM interfaceEryk Brol
Virtual memory allows display to support flipping to surfaces which are not allocated contiguously in memory with physical addresses, instead a 1-4 level page table is used. This is beneficial because it allows the scattering of large surfaces to improve memory efficiency and security. 2017-09-26drm/amd/display: Remove dc_target objectAric Cyr
dc_target does not fit well into DRM framework so removed it. This will prevent the driver from leveraging the pipe-split code for tiled displays, so will have to be handled at a higher level. Most places that used dc_target now directly use dc_stream instead.
