2019-01-24drm: Split out drm_probe_helper.hDaniel Vetter
Having the probe helper stuff (which pretty much everyone needs) in the drm_crtc_helper.h file (which atomic drivers should never need) is confusing. Split them out. To make sure I actually achieved the goal here I went through all drivers. And indeed, all atomic drivers are now free of drm_crtc_helper.h includes. v2: Make it compile. There was so much compile fail on arm drivers that I figured I'll better not include any of the acks on v1. v3: Massive rebase because i915 has lost a lot of drmP.h includes, but not all: Through drm_crtc_helper.h > drm_modeset_helper.h -> drmP.h there was still one, which this patch largely removes. Which means rolling out lots more includes all over. This will also conflict with ongoing drmP.h cleanup by others I expect. v3: Rebase on top of atomic bochs. v4: Review from Laurent for bridge/rcar/omap/shmob/core bits: - (re)move some of the added includes, use the better include files in other places (all suggested from Laurent adopted unchanged). - sort alphabetically v5: Actually try to sort them, and while at it, sort all the ones I touch. v6: Rebase onto i915 changes. v7: Rebase once more. 2018-07-30drm/armada: move armada_drm_mode_config_funcs to armada_drv.cRussell King
Move the armada_drm_mode_config_funcs to armada_drv.c, since this now has less to do with FBs than it does with general mode configuration. In doing so, we need to make armada_fb_create() visible to armada_drv.c, which reveals a function name clash with armada_fbdev.c. Rename the version in armada_fbdev.c. 2018-05-18drm/armada: Move GEM BO to drm_framebufferDaniel Stone
Since drm_framebuffer can now store GEM objects directly, place them there rather than in our own subclass. As this makes the framebuffer create_handle and destroy functions the same as the GEM framebuffer helper, we can reuse those. 2017-12-08drm/armada: Use drm_fb_helper_lastclose() and _poll_changed()Noralf Trønnes
This driver can use drm_fb_helper_lastclose() as its .lastclose callback. It can also use drm_fb_helper_output_poll_changed() as its .output_poll_changed callback. 2017-10-16drm/armada: Replace drm_gem_object_reference/unreference() with _get/put()Haneen Mohammed
This patch replace instances of drm_gem_object_reference/unreference with *_get/put() suffixes, because get/put is shorter and consistent with the kernel use of *_get/put() suffixes. This was done with the following Coccinelle script: @r1@ expression e; @@ ( -drm_gem_object_reference(e); +drm_gem_object_get(e); | -drm_gem_object_unreference(e); +drm_gem_object_put(e); | -drm_gem_object_unreference_unlocked(e); +drm_gem_object_put_unlocked(e); ) Signed-off-by: Haneen Mohammed <hamohammed.sa@gmail.com> [resolved small conflict with removed armada_gem_dumb_map_offset] Signed-off-by: Sean Paul <seanpaul@chromium.org> Link: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/a59ef1ed109ade897bcffcb01b33214262db8942.1505932812.git.hamohammed.sa@gmail.com

2017-06-20drm/armada: don't abuse DMA_ERROR_CODEChristoph Hellwig
dev_addr isn't even a dma_addr_t, and DMA_ERROR_CODE has never been a valid driver API. Add a bool mapped flag instead. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de>

2016-05-17drm: Remove unused drm_device from drm_gem_object_lookup()Chris Wilson

2015-11-24drm: Pass the user drm_mode_fb_cmd2 as const to .fb_create()Ville Syrjälä

2013-10-12DRM: Armada: Add Armada DRM driverRussell King
This patch adds support for the pair of LCD controllers on the Marvell Armada 510 SoCs. This driver supports: - multiple contiguous scanout buffers for video and graphics - shm backed cacheable buffer objects for X pixmaps for Vivante GPU acceleration - dual lcd0 and lcd1 crt operation - video overlay on each LCD crt via DRM planes - page flipping of the main scanout buffers - DRM prime for buffer export/import This driver is trivial to extend to other Armada SoCs. Included in this commit is the core driver with no output support; output support is platform and encoder driver dependent.
